You dont seem to understand...obviously you cant make your toon look exactly like you, then the game you win damn awards for crying out loud. The point was that it's "who" i am in this world, dosent have to look like me just has to be my interpretation of how i look in that world, at the least im a guy. All i got from your post was that your either calling me a homosexual or i like running around with a naked male toon...

personally i find the characters from korea better looking, its much cooler screw realism its an mmo. Seriously though all the male characters in most american games are like over the top bodybuilders, huge hands and ugly faces.

I suppose if you are a heavy duty explorer type, you should go play LOTRO or WOW.  But I don't think this game is catering to that.  Regardless, I've found some cute things tucked in the corners of the maps, little easter eggs, named mobs in remote corners, and so on.

Personally, I am not fond of spending 20 minutes slogging across a zone with no special content.

Terrain and vast herds of grind mobs is easy.  But if I told you Aion had big maps with vast herds of grind mobs, you'd say "Oh, how like a Korean grind game!" and if I said it was like WOW, you'd flame me...

There is no win with you people, go haunt another forum.  ;)

mmorpg gamers are so funny :)

these are all nice features but we cannot forget that the devs are trying to make the game playable on average computers just like the first GW so we cant go all crazy here. They have also said that there will still be major instants but there still be a persistant world.

well if there will be there would be ALOT of rooms

im sure people who are gonna play charr would like the guild hall to look kind of like an ironforge from hell with like fire and lava everywhere lol but ill stick with sylvari. anyway i dont think the guild halls can be anything more then they are, A place for guild memebers to gather. The Alliance im in usual has 1vs1 matches with a prize in the end, survivor, plenty of player moderated events. Theres also plenty of npcs in the guild halls...not sure what else we can do with em

Dude! listen we didnt say you cant post in the forum if you dont like GW 2, cons are appreciated so developpers can try to make it more pleasing or maybe even a nice argument between fellow gamers. Yes the forum is a place for open dicussion but i guess if you wanna be a big a*hole go ahead.

human beings are always searching for the sensation they felt for there "Firsts". Confused yet ok ill give some examples like your First kiss, First time on an airplane, First time driving...etc (with a couple of exceptions). This is also the same for mmos and videogame. WoW was probably the first mmo for many so there looking for the same experience they felt, which unfortunatly will not happen again unless its a new type of mmo, for example an mmorpg/fps, a super hero mmo or something revolutionary like GW 2 -no quests just events system-.

but that dosent mean i think  games like War or Aoc are good they still need alot of work.

are u serious I have seen 20+ year olds who are less maure then me, give me a break, its true that some children are immature but dont throw us all into one boat papabear.

well i for one think its a better approach cause it dosent really give you a HUGE lead just a nudge forward. nothing that would make that player untouchable.

Dude play the game none of these guys know a good game when they see one. GRIND?? that only comes lvl 100+ and by then you got all the flashy skills and are pretty strong to do Party Dungeons and so on. There just people who give up without getting to a decent lvl or r pissed cuz they played they game the wrong game and know they say its a horrible game. Poor sportsmanship!

Sucki. Chan i still see you have no full understanding of this game just go back to playing WoW or something cuz  it seems you cant play a game that requires effort. All the same skills you must be crazy im a lvl 26 blader and i have like 3 class specific skills i can buy. 1% quest im seriously getting pissed at people like you THE WHOLE FREAKIN GAME DUMPS DOZENS OF QUESTS ON YOU! the grind only come lvl 100+ and 44 to 49 when you dont get alot of quests and thats to help you with skill rank. plus you can get adept gear dummy which can give +5 skill exp per kill and thats like awsome. Character customization is alright so far ive found a cuztomization of har style and colour + face that no one looks like me yet. YOU KNOW ITS STILL OPNE BETA!!!!!! HAVE YOU SEEN EPISODE 2 FOR THE OTHER VERSIONS!!!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW TO USE YOUR COMBOS???? OR HOW ABOUT YOUR AURA????? DID U FOLLOW THE HELP GUIDE FOR STAT DISTRIBUTION OR ARE YOU THE PERSON THAT GOES STRAIGHT INTO A GAME WITHOUT DOING ANY RESEARCH!!!!!!
