The only hting that aion might kill is a few people that will stay up 24/7 and snort coke to stay awake so they can be the first to acheive max lvl. |

I'd say go for lotro but get into a guild ( kin) as soon as you can. Since all the old timers have a few alts being in a decently big guild will guarantee that you'll have people to help you. The lvl cap being higher in wow you'll have to play more to be able to join the raiding people. |

If you dont mind a comp that'll scare people away you could get the g50 it has a very nice bang for buck ration, or get a M50 (both from asus). They have a few new models coming out soon so you might find these at a very nice price but below 1000us you'll have a hard time finding laptops suitable for gaming. |

How can people not see that any game that has any kind of internet feature is a wow clone? Go back to high scholl people. Sheesh |

I'd say wait for aion, I loved lotro because of the lore and the people that are in my guild, I loved gw because its very accessible and it can get very technical too, Atlantica online was fun for a while because its so different from everthing else, runes of magic felt meh (I'm not a wow fan, might explain a lot), rappelz is a joke, eve is the greatest mmo imho but the part that interested me was intensive corp war which involves playing more than I could. I'd say try a few trials and see for yourself. |

You dont need to try something to know that its a peice of crap. This whole you didnt try it so stfugtfogmfban attitude shows how great the df community is. The worst thing about df isnt that there is only one feature to this game: full loot. The main problem is its community, hell even the goons seem like jolly good fellows compared to you guys. |

Lets compare df with a hot dog. You ordered the msot expensive hot dog on the meny: chili dog with extra cheese and special bread. But when the waiter brings it to you he tells you: sorry we dont have any bread so you'll have to eat that chiliy and cheese covered sausage with your hands. Oh and btw we didnt have any beans for the chili, so you'll get them in 1 or 2h |

I gotta second lord of the rings online, very nice game. The community is quite good and if they start liking them game they'll probably read the books (if they havnt already done so). |
