age doesn't matter in games if you ask me, why is it that important with age in games? barely anyone's gonna follow those rules anyway. i just pre-ordered my collectors edition today by myself in the store, no problem there. so the big deal is?

No big deal to me at all.  It's Funcom's rule, not mine.  I don't know how they can possibly even enforcel that sort of rule.  I was simply offering a suggestion as to why you might not get in the beta if you divulged your age.  If I remember correctly, the age of consent in Norway is 16, unless it's changed.  It might only be some sort of rule in the US, too, for all I know.

i won't lie about this, i usually say im 18 or older on internet sites. and on all sites related to AoC, so that can't be the problem why i never have recieved a key even though i've been in most beta key giveaway events. seems just like my luck is very bad when it comes to AoC

so you're saying that your computer died of a bsod? sounds a little weird if you ask me. and viruses don't cause bsods, so then LotRO is a virus too then? i got a bsod when trying out the DX10 graphics.

what are your comp specs?

the game is coming in english, the closed beta starts in march. so if you want a chance to get into the beta you should go and register on their site (which is www.playrohan.com btw) the CB will only be for a week i've heard. a little bad for people with little time to spend on their computers, but hell the game looks awesomme

just go try 2moons if you want to try it, it's the same game but with a different name and is US. i got a litle tired of it. but that's because of the grind. i dont remember the site though

these are most likely real screenshots, it looks very nice. hopefully you won't need a psycho pc for this game, like hellgate needs

sounds like a great idea, but it would anhillate the balance of the Honor and PvP rewards.

So they should make a new sort of "Honor" for the XP trading and then make the payment with the XP a bit more expensive, so that the botters, or just everyone can go farm mobs all night and have full gladiator set the day after. if blizz did this in a good balanced way it would be simply awesomme!

i would say warhammer will be more successfull then AoC, even though im looking more forward to AoC than WAR. the reason WAR will be more successfull is that it will be more easy to get into, like wow. AoC seems alot more ''difficult'' to start with as a totally newcomer to MMO's as an example. warhammers combat and movement will be more to the wow side than AoC.

But honestly, i don't really care about how many people will play it, or such things. i only want the game to be good enough to play. ill try both games when they are out. but i will definetly play AoC. since i already have a great guild and alot of friends whom are going to play it too.

seriously, if you care that much about graphics then you shouldn't even play MMO's. at least not the ones currently released. and imo, LOTRO has pretty nice graphics considering it a MMO.

you should try to set up antialiasing or anistrophic filtering or what it's called. i think thats the option for smoothening edges on models. if not im not sure, maybe set up the resolution if you don't have it on the highest?

Try turning off your Firewall or find out what ports DDO uses and unblock them; same with your network if your using a Router or on a school connection.

If your using Vista, give your self admin.

really dont know if any of that would really help but its worth a try.

Also...make a new account and see if that one works. Aperently they were having troble with their account system this past week so depending on when you made your account you could not really be in their system or you got over looked b/c your on a trial.

I've been wanting to try this game out once more, but every time i try to log in to a trial account i made. i can't log in. it says that the password, or the username is wrong, but i'm 100% sure i did everything i need to be able to play.

anyone know how to fix this? would be nice to try this game out now since i have a new rig

i would play it, but it depends on how it would be played too.

in my oppinion, a game like this can't be played to it's full potential with a keyboard and a mouse. if you get my point.

Nope, this will be a WASD movement game. if you have seen a little of the game you should have seen you can fly there too. imagine flying with point & click movement, doesn't sound too good right? im sure it's WASD. it may be korean, but still it will be a great game.
