This. Nowadays people tend join one guild, then move from game to game with the guild so the need to find groups or guild dies out. Most of the convo happens in ventrilo or teamspeak anyways. And we all know the content in global chats is usually meaningless rable. Yet it stilI lives on, for the sake of PUGs.

Even though some people complain about the UI, I'm still glad you can turn off the chat. It's not always possible in every mmorpg.

Ah... But I haven't played WoW in ages. And back then there was no authenticators, at least not in my box. So I'm guessing when I start the client, I write code in the "Security Key: Optional" part in the login window?

So, what is that thing? I'm talking about the small key chain thingy that comes in the CE box. The store I ordered it says: "Security Authentication Key Fob: Keep your Lightsaber and credits safe with this custom Security Authentication Key Fob for your game account."

But it's not an article about a game that's about to release. It's an article dissing and riduculing all the MMOs that are high fantasy, indirectly making MMOs without elves look like "the cool thing", which is... oh what a coincidence, for instance... SWTOR.

Well, I'm just glad I've never had the need to contact customer service on my long gaming history. I just know how many CSAs actually get a kick out of making customers even more displeased and calling there is a dive into endless pit.

But in this case I'd just cancel, re-order and suck up the 5$ penalty. Then I'd just go into my bank and tell em to pay, since they ruined my deal.

Compared to the usual, shitty Hitler clips, this one was actually funny. Loved the part "I'm going to cancel my pre order". He's just like a helpless fanboi, brining up the ultimate threat towards gaming company.

There are only one or two games per year, that I collect and buy a hard copy (CE or normal box). Otherwise I'll just go with the digital download. If the box get's delayed by couple days, does it really matter that much?

I'm just guessing EA and Bioware want to get rid of the free loafers as quickly as possible. ( The one's who always pre-order to get the code, then cancel but stick around for the early access and perhaps the grace period - until they run out of time) I'm okay with that honestly. It just means a lot less aholes logging in game, just to run their mouth and spam the chat with their useless crap.

Sure thing. I especially liked the part where thousands of accounts got hacked during Rift's first month. Oh and the part where a player found the solution how to fix the security issues from Trion's end causing the issue. And the swift actions on taking two weeks to get an reply to a ticket and another week to get character fixed with rollback.

That is totally worth an award.

So, I just got the verification mail. My Collector's Edition has been shipped and should arrive tomorrow. That is exciting!

Can't wait to open the box and dive in. What's weird that in the original mail they'd say I probably get the box in 19th Dec. Anyways, I'm not complaining here.

I ordered from CDON.com. So relieved that they didn't have the problems like wallmart etc.
