Wish I could tell ya but I can not even play the game because my graphics card is not powerful enough to handle the piece of crap. Though all I can say is try visiting the site from the game list or somewhere around this site. |

The game has a pretty good plot along with some wonderful graphics, interesting quests, enjoyable missions, and easy to get into. On the other hand, the community has gotten really sad and pathetic with the amount jut there to use the game as a chat room and to see armorless characters (nearly naked) around town in pre of ascalon and the monestary. Actually, this is a game to try but, look through the game list here first to try some that are actually free, though still consider this one unless you hate a bad community. |

Honestly, try another game since the community in guild wars bites. I mean it is pretty hard to find a group at times for the missions or even the quests. Plus, for some reason some just decide to treat the game like a chat room or only log in to see armorless characters dancing around. The gameplay is ok, but some titles just feel impossible. The grahpics are great and the music as well as voice overs are good as well but the community is enough to pas this game over. There is more than one that you can not only download for free but play for free as well. |

In a way it would be killed when guild wars 2 comes out but at the same time it won't be. It will be since odds are way more than 1,0000 people will try guild wars two for a bit of time and might decide to stop playing the original for some time. this results in an increase of mission groups consisting of heros and hench wit less people. Though, it won't be since honestly if you have seen the monestary in district 1, half the people treat the game like it was gaia online so with them gone the game would get a bit better. |

Here is a better tip: Before buying nightfall or even think about buying eue of the north, make sure your graphics card is powerful enough. Seriously, I just lost my best character because eye of the north needs a strong graphics card. |

Well actually it is your decision in what you decide to play first, though al I can reccomend to help is read a review or two from a few people to see what they think of each version, thnk carefully, and decide when ready. Tip wise, just what I have learned from being a a couple of groups and seing what people have been asking for with a few professions: Ranger: be expected to be told to either pull or trap since for some reason thats whats is wanted most of the time. Monk: They have some good smiting skills but most of the are wanted in a group for just healing purposes. Necromancer: The minion master build is what for some reason every group wants for almost every mission. Warrior: Basicly considerded the tank or in other words a meat sheild.

Originally posted by Synth.etic To me no problem with using female characters although your a guy in real life. It is only sad IF you have them dancing around/running around town armroless. Plus, I still remember when more than one look for armor was used until they just decided to pick one type for each. Anyway, to me it was more like an rpg and not like an mmorpg. I mean sure in some towns there were a few people but when doing quests I mainly had heros and hench since everyone else was doing that. |

Would say that this game is fun but after watching as it closes 7 times on its own and the other bs the game has to offer, I just instantly uninstalled the game. |

If you think I will show any mercy or try to be kind because you said you were wrong to bot, think again. Why do you even play the game at all if your not really going to play fair? I really could care less if you think leveling is hard, you picked to play the game not let a program play for you. Fianlly the whole you will give up on botting one day is just a bunch of bull. |

Actually you forgot one big negative: Anyone with wondows vista are screwed over. They promised that those with vista will be able to play soon but all I have seen is after 2 hours my comp freezing in that game. |

Don't know about you but I have not run into a single botter yet. All I have seen is gold botters spamming but thats it. you must be thinking of silkroad online since THAT game has the bot problem. |

I remember when before factions and nightfall it was actually easy to get a group together to do a mission or quest. Now though it is nearly impossible when everyone is taking hench and/or heros now. I do the same but only when it is pointless to try to form a group in a nearly empty area. Though not being able to get a group is a small reason compared to the numerous negatives that were either: 1. created by the creators 2. Caused by the community. |

I never played it, but I would have to say WoW. In guild wars there are still a few things holding it back: no gm to help, have to go on to the site to report something. game being used by some as a chat room or a place to see something dance around armorless. nothing new has been added that we have not already seen and changes that are not even noticible. people might be joining but, there are still others leaving because of how bad the community is getting. no way at times to form a group or to get any help; hench and heros are used more now. level point is and has been 20 through proph, factions, nightfall, and eye of the north and will never change. From what I have seen from WoW while watching a firend play, it is worth the fee and actually has more than what guild wars or the upcoming guild wars 2 can ever offer. |

To be honest all I can think of is: No monthly fees, playing through each story in each part that was added to the series, titles are ok, and alliance battles/pvp is fun. the only problem is that to me the community has gotten bad. I mean it feels as if anyone new who joins or some who are around still just come to use the game like a chat room. Plus, seeing armorless characters around still is really sad in a game with wonderful enviroments and exciting missions and quests. It is getting harder to form a group for the missions with people mostly picking heros and hench now. Some titles just seem impossible to get. After Proph, factions, nightfall, and now Eye of the north we still are stuck at lvl 20 with no chance of using different armor that everyone else. This is just a few. This game USE to be great but after a year or so what made this game fun is just not enough to stay around much as before. |

Might as well accept the fact that the game is pretty much going down the drain. I mean: The gms do absolutely nothing to solve the problem or to try and fix it at all. More and more people are leaving which will soon result in the game shutting down Thee are far beter games out there that actually have helpful gms that do their jobs and have NO bots. And for the why question, it is because those excuse for gamers are just to "busy" to play the game fairly. Those idiots say that they have school, work, homework, and so on so they can not play the game yet they can use a bot program to cheat. Though we get the last laugh they their computers become infected with a virus, or something worse happens. |

Does not seem worth it in a way. I mean there have been three different versions out, the expansion now, and talk of a guild wars two yet nothing much to really like. We are still stuck at level 20 while in every other game people are beyond that level. New heros but nothing in the profession section. Finally for those who can not move on in nightfall if he/she has a video card that is not good enough, what if the same thing happens in Eye of the north? |

You missed the point completely. If the people are just around to talk or just to see armorless characters instead of fighting enemies together, completing quests, completing missions, or even deciding to pvp a little then what is the pont in having the combat in the first place? Without the combat, it would just be like Gaiaonline; looks ok and can talk to a lot but gets boring really fast after a while. |

Would yuo really think that it is an mmorpg when the first site you see in some towns are: 1. Armorless characters(mostly female) dancing around and running around. or 2. See people just sitting around just talking treating the game like a chat room. |

Do you really think complaining about them will really help? If you do not like it to bad, just ask whoever it is to leave the game if they hate it so much. |
