not sure which fantasy you live in but when we beat order 500-5 then 500-7 then 500-12 I would say Order loses ALOT by ALOT.

But good to have you on our server we like the free Renown

Hmmm, don't know which Scenario you are talking about... last night on Sylvania as Order we didn't lose any... then again... I was running with my guild

Seriously though, I think Sylvania has a good balance. There always seems to be active RvR.

Oh, and note to Destruction: If you stuck together and didn't try to Solo in the open RvR areas... you might actually survive longer... just a suggestion.

I see this as a good thing sorta... like, people are out playing instead of "Barren Chatting."

I ask ALL of you (Order and Destruction players alike) to join me in this. Please repeat this post and this call on any and all websites (game and guild) until everyone has gotten the word.

I know that many will scoff at this. The lazy, the uncaring, the selfish and the self-involved but that can’t be helped. This situation is just PLAIN WRONG and shouldn’t be allowed to go unchallenged.

My order shipped from California on Wednesday and has to come all the way across country to me in North Carolina. But who knows, maybe it will arrive today while I’m at work and I’ll be perfectly able to play tonight. But I will not play until everyone can play who made a decision in good faith to trust Mythic’s word that it would allow a reasonable grace period.

And lastly, note below Mythic’s own flip attitude to those unable to play due to this:

“Think of it as a good time to stand up, have a stretch, and go out to greet that bright, giant, hot thing in the sky. Don’t forget your shades!”

 

The Apex, NC Target still has a ton of Copies...

... also, EA happens. 

 But as far as the Dwarfs go, it's not the looks, or the classes, it's just the height. You get in a tight battle, and all you see is knees. Again, IMO, very claustrophobic. If they were 6 feet taller, they'd be perfect.

Come to think of it... when there are 4 black orcs beating down on your tank... it is hard to find him to target him to heal him...

Also, The Gate Scenario: You can win with the 2 outter points and just ignore the central one. Thats how we kept winning last night.

Oh, and TEAMWORK. That one is important. Even in a scenario PUG, you just type /sc and say "HEY HEAL ME!" and guess what... a heal you shall have.

 Hmmm... yeah I play an OP healer (RP) and I do have to say... it occationally takes 2 or 3 people to kill me... BUT when they are focusing on me, I am NOT healing my allies... I am worrying about myself. So really, just hitting a healer already skrews up their friends a littlebit...

... but yeah... not going to scream "nerf me" yet since the game just came out... who knows what will happen at higher levels. 

Horde to Northrend: Take a Zeplin from 2 of your capital cities.

Alliance to Northrend: Take a boat from 2 cities that you never go to past lvl 40... but first, take a griff ride.

Also, have leveled Alliance and Horde to lvl 70. There is no Alliance Bias. There is no Horde Bias. They are different.

I think too many people like being guild leaders. While there will probably be a few Large guilds on each side per server, I am guessing there will be MANY MANY small guilds. I for one hate large guilds because I like a small, tight knit group. I also think it will be a better feeling to see your small guild hold a keep, rather than seeing your huge guild hold every keep in the area...

...plus, I would HATE to hold the banner for a large guild. Thats a lot of pressure.

The feel of the game. Very new. Dark, Creepy, Spooky, Intense...

I think the reasons you stated are reasons why old-school MMO players have and are leaving WoW. That being Said, WoW's players are a new breed all together. There are players in WoW that will never ever play any other MMO and will stick with WoW because, to them, the new things released are just fun additions.

The AVERAGE WoW player doesn't care about the other guy's gear or how hard or easy it was for him to get it. Thats not the point to a lot of players. The point is fun.

Now, I don't think WoW is fun, but thats just me.

I say, live and let live. To each there own. And just because Wendy's comes out with the Baconator doesn't mean McDonalds is going to go under.

Is it even possible to have an unbiased opinion? Aren't opinions always biased? Isn't that what makes them opinions?

Anyways, try it out if you want, or don't. Thats my opinion.

Start a Goblin or Orc... BEST starting area Lore in the game IMHO. But, you have 8 slots to fill with alts, try a lot out. Every race and class is so different, its actually fun making alts in this game.

Hmmm... if you have been in beta for 13 months, you are either a glutton for punishment, or are enjoying beta testing this game... I am hoping for the latter...

I just love how spooky most of the zones look. Now if only we could see some of these zones populated with players and mobs...

Best News Ever!

Might not be too late to do this, but at my local GameStop I fought the system, so to speak.

Yesturday I picked up the retail version, and saw they had preorder boxes. I said "Hey, can I get a preorder box too?" And the guy just looked at me and said "But you have the game right there..."

He asked his manager, who also just looked at me with a blank stare. She just gave me the box, and I am now on early with my preorder pet :) Thanks GameStop!

Just had my first night with TR. Very good notes. Also... and this is just me, but as an explorer... no not get the missions to find the Logos. Find them yourself, THEN get the missions and complete it right there.

I picked up the mission to find the Attack Logo and got the waypoint for it, so freaking sad :(

Real stellar logic you're using there: interested in a game because some people hate it.  With that logic you should be interested in about every game listed on the site.  Grats leaving wow though.  My suggestion is get used to doing something else with your time for awhile.  You're so accustomed to living inside a game that you don't know what to do with yourself.  The withdrawals will pass.  Another game will come and wow you eventually.  Might as well use the interim time to improve your life some.  Read a book.  Create something.  Try to take care of a plant or aminal without it dieing too soon.

When did I say that I am only interested in the game because of the negativity? I said I was interested, and the fact that people find stupid things to complain about makes me like it more, because they aren't complaining about things that I would see as Game Breaking, they are just saying things like "Its stupid" or "You are an idiot for playing this" but not giving reasons.

I also love when people say "its boring." Well what is boring to some is not boring to others. I think trolling forums is boring, you seem to enjoy it. Props to you.

And as for the rest of your post, you know me so well... lol
