I will say: They're not very experienced at any of this. They aren't refined in business model or execution. They aim big... but have no helping hand to pull them along. They're missing a lot of things and just as I mentioned in another thread---- players are tired of the same chet in all other MMOs and are chasing the ideal because they're starving--- as one Darkfall fan admitted: They're clinging to the idea.

Aventurine is full of shit, the teaser was trash, and I'm still thoroughly convinced this game will never release.

Why would anybody play WoW in the first place, that game is freaking terrible.

 WoW has been out for *4* years and they make MUCH more money then any game on the market, they better have the largest world.

WAR hasn't even released yet, expecting it to have more content is quite retarded of you. And yes, WAR is PvP based, and if you don't like it you can go back to your carebear PvE land that is WoW.

Why people would want to fight semi-retarded mobs with no AI over a real challenge like a real person is way beyond me. WoW's playerbase does like everything handed to them so I don't know.

He was wearing  reknown armor that you can purchase at level 10, it roughly triples your effectiveness over pvp armor.  They said that gear doesn't matter in WAR?  Don't believe it, gear matters a lot.

Actually, the internal server for AoC was significantly further ahead then the beta version.

On the last day of beta AoC was an absolute nightmare and people couldn't believe how bad it was. You think it is bad now, wow shit you shoulda seen it then. They pulled a miracle overnight.

WAR is fine for release.

DaoC and WAR are the only games with RvR, they have it trademarked too, so you won't see any other games with it for awhile, and certainly not any free games.

if you dont have a perfect group, you will most likely lose. Your knowledge of the class will NOT change the flow of the battle.  Without support of others you are pretty much worthless. I'm all for grouping, but this is just BORING.

Working with what you got will get you nowhere.

 

This game reminds me of Team Fortress 2 where classes are very limited too. But TF2 is fine because you could change the class any time you want. In WAR, i'm already sick of my class being forced to do ONE very specific thing after lvl 5-8.

I know why devs have done it the way it is. To make huge rvr battles more balanced or something like that.

I guess the game is just not for me.

Do you realize that you were probably only like level 10?! Oh wait, you were level 5-8. You've got to be kidding, this has to be a joke post. Have you even played an MMORPG before WAR? You NEVER start out with all of your abilities you gain them as you level up, it's this little thing called character development.

You get a hell of alot of more skills by the time you hit 40 and I guarentee you that the way you play your class, if you aren't completely retarded(which I'm unsure of because of your post)will be much different.

The classes thus far are a hell of alot more diverse then most games, combustion, balance, agression, tactics, morale, etc.

You don't need a perfect group you just need to not suck ass.

The PvP so far is awesome when the crappy PvE mobs don't interfere with their bugged out pathing.

50k SE, 50-60K CE, and CB testers... Quite a few people.

I would advise everyone to stay away from TSW as it is likely a piece of garbage, the only thing of which Failcom is capable of making.
