That's one thing I have disliked as well. It doesn't matter what you reply with as it eventually all has the same outcome.

I will finish by relating my experience with PvP.  A guy was being a moron over [OOC], announcing whenever he was ganking someone.  Several people started to get irked and threaten him.  This is a PvP server, you act like an asshole, expect to get ganked.

Some of us decided to go find him and chop off his head or whatever. 

We searched and searched, but in the end it was fruitless, he was in another instance.  He taunted us, and said that if we ganged up on him and found him, he would simply swap instances as soon as we approached, and he could continue spamming crap in OOC for all of us to see.

If I were Conan I'd order this game destroyed.   5 years they took to build this... it's Vanguard 2.0... only instead of anything resembling progress, gone is the seamless world, replaced with arbitrary instances and piss-poor game design.

Failed.

It's sad how many people actually believed the game was different once you left Tortage. It is actually worse as the game isn't as polished as Tortage is.

Sadly AoC is not balanced for level 20 PvP. Level 80 is much better for a HoX especially in a group PvP setting where they can live long enough to burn enemies down with their high burst damage.

Dark Templars get the Slam ability before level 5.

On May 20th, launch day, everytime I used the Slam ability I actually saw my opponents being knocked back, I thought that was very very cool.

May 21st to May 24th everytime I use that ability I never see my opponents getting knocked back; does anyone know why that is? Does anyone who can log into the official forums know if they are going to refix it or was the knockback overpowered so thats why I dont see the animation anymore;?

A DT was the highest class I played in Closed Beta. Slam seemed to work the first few levels I got it but after level 10 I never saw it actually knockback anyone so I quit using it.

Apparently Gamezone never played AoC or the review was written by a Funcom employee.

Unless the 9 was supposed to be a 6 as I would believe a 6.4 rating for AoC.

RP rules are great and all but they are rarely enforced...which is sad.

Casters will be more twitchy when Spellweaving is live.

It will be nice to pay $14.99 a month for a game that will still be in beta when it launches.

Seeing it has been almost 7 years since I first learned about Darkfall...and 6 years since I first signed up for beta...I have no hope for this game. This is almost as bad as Duke Nukem Forever. Almost.

You forgot the 3rd option which Age of Conan will fall into:

 A game with less than all planned features with a launch that is rushed, buggy as hell, and  crashes a lot.

Congrats Funcom for going Gold on an unfinished game.

As much as I would love a Firefly MMORPG I don't see how it would be much different from SWG. I'd rather see a nice single player Firefly RPG. Hint hint Bioware.
