I think some of the changes Blizzard is doing in WoW are actually ideas they are testing the waters with for their Titan MMO.

Are you referring to the T-Shirt with Vest? I am a talking about the button-up shirt (that the top few buttons aren't buttoned) with vest. I saw it myself in the Cash Shop last night during testing.

TSW still has memory leak issues. Even with Windows 7 x64 and 8GB memory I encountered it multiple times while closed beta testing.

The MMORPG model is shifting to F2P + item shop model - this is a fact, the entire industry is moving to this model.

Right now there is a perception in the community that F2P games are inferior in quality as many of the early ones were - but all major game studios with their AAA titles are going to F2P+ microtrans model.

Why? Because it's more lucrative - studies have shown that the same gamer who is refusing to pay $15 per month will often spend up to $40 per month over numerous smaller $1 to $1.50 transactions. This is just the psychology of our consumer mind.

Oh and either way - I am looking forward to having fun in TSW, and many other upcoming F2P titles in the future.

 

 

I agree it will be changing over to F2P before the year ends.

The best part of TSW is the Modern-day Horror-Supernatural setting and story. It is a breath of fresh air in today's flood of high-fantasy based MMORPGs.

The weakest parts of TSW is Combat and Character Creation. Combat is no where near as fun as DCUO or GW2. I honestly think SWTORs combat is more fun than TSWs. The Skill Wheel is partly to blame for Combat lacking. It doesn't matter if you have over 500s skills if most of them look and feel lackluster. Character creation suffers from ugly character models and very limited starter clothing selection. It seems more and more clothing options were removed from the game and put in the Item Shop to milk as much $ as they can out players. This wouldn't be such a big deal if the game didn't lack clothing options to begin with and/or if there was no monthly subscription fee.

The furry-tails is a big turn off to me for this game.

I really don't see what is so great about D3. I played the heck out of Diablo 2 when it first came out. A friend gave me a D3 guess pass and I tried it out this past week. I guess it is just me but the same old gameplay I played 12 years ago is now boring to me.
