Zorvan that's definately a strong case for the NO.  Although I'm uncomfortable calling it censorship.  Censorship would be banning certain topics, ideas, ways of thinking, anything critical etc.  This would just be a wipe of the forum.

I jumped to a conclusion about the dev being rude to mathy because that dev had a history of being rude to people.  I don't have any evidence about Mathy being bad.  Only a lack of evidence.  What you're saying could be true, but right now I have nothing to say it's true except you telling me.

Are you saying that none of Mathy's posts have been deleted?  I was saying that since mathy's forum record is clean, anything bad mathy has posted could have been deleted, thus explaning the bad rap.

"oops. sorry, let's have a do over" isn't how I'd say it, since I think everyone has made mistakes.  Maybe what I want to achieve can't be put into words, but I assure you my motivations are true.

Maybe you shouldn't think about my motivations at all.  Instead, think about what you'd actually be getting from what would actually be happening.

You're in attack mode right now.  I can understand why, even though I don't agree with it.  But we should all be looking at the bigger picture right now.

It's funny that you're telling others to learn how to read, when you don't even understand the thread you're posting in.  This is what happened:

Person P:  Person U was wrong to be mean to person M.

Person U:  Person M deserved it for X reasons!

Person A:  Person U speaks da truth.

Person P:  I don't see the proof.

Person M has not posted on this forum, ever, to my knowledge.

You might not like my answers, but I have answered those questions.

I like ps.  I'm also critical of parts of it.

I don't want to protect the devs from fair criticism.

The devs are trying to improve. They should be allowed to improve. Wiping this forum will help them do that.

If you don't think the devs and their "defenders" have made mistakes, I don't know what to tell you.

Yes, to cover up the mistakes people have made.  Since the ps team is trying to improve, they don't deserve to have mistakes of the past haunting them, and what has been posted here can only get in the way of future growth.

As far as the valid points people have made, I think the pro of a forum wipe is bigger than the cost.

By mistakes haunting them, I mean mistakes made by them, mistakes made by people defending them, and mistakes made by people criticising them.  All of these have happen.

You could also get ten people to testify that there's nothing wrong with planeshift.  Testimony is only worth so much.

If you want to convince me you're right about mathy, I'll need good evidence, like a confession, or a link to a post she's made.

I have NEVER called the planeshift players customers, and I challenge you to find a post where I have. :)

I've often posted evidence to back up my assertions, so my assertions are not "baseless".

I've done research on mathy.  I looked at all her posts on the forum.

It's true that I don't know what she's done with irc, email.

Right now, I see no evidence that mathy is a bad person or a trouble maker.  All I have is your testimony.

The devs should treat people well unless they don't care about the project.  A community based project based on community contributions won't work if you have no community.

Are they able to be mean to people?  Yes, They have the power.  But that doesn't mean they should.

People complain about the Ylian model and how you can't customize the face.  The lack of character models is one of the sore points of the game.

I don't have a personal stake in mathy.  I do have a personal stake in the truth.  If ten people tell me she's a jerk, then I have the testimony of ten people.  But what if they only think she's a jerk because they were told she's a jerk?

Maybe there's evidence that she's a jerk, but there's no proof on the forum.
