Why is Bioware making a StarWars MMO?

Hi my name is Roman Abramowic,

I buyed the company, and I'm KOTOR fan.. I wanted never ending KOTOR... So, that's why it is MMO..

Simple..

The game is not even in beta... LoL .. and How do you know BioWare blow it?

They talking about game in alpha  phase of development... They must be scared, and propaganda is best way to fight competition..

Dear OP... You say they created "this"? and how do you know what is "This"? You played the game? NO.. You seen video? NO... You se real screenshots (not alpha)? NO...

I dont like EvE for only one reason - controls (aka gameplay mechanics).. I tried hard to love it - but faild..

EvE is not bad game.. Its fun, and realy HUGE.. very good content, constantly upgraded... They will add walking on sations too.. Be sure to try trial account, but "think" before buying it...

I hate "clicking" in the space... Thats why I have high hopes for Jumpgate Evolution - Freelancer style of combats...

In all honesty, I cant see myself playing TOR. I'd like to see a decent sandbox MMO but there are none in the pipe. Darkfall will be awful and Vanguard failed miserably.

It's a shame they don't make an SWG 2 (not handled by SOE) that is squarely aimed at those who liked the original game.

We all know that SOE f*ed Up SWG, and after all that happen , they still "control-menage" the game in all aspects...

So, Its like you are telling this:

Its a shame that they dont make a new Testa Rossa (but not created by Ferrari)...

I really feel that the BG's are a problem in this game, everyone just runs them, exp is better in a Bg than in the overland game and its jsut so easy.  Why cap keeps when you can just farm BG's.  Thus everyone is in the BG's and nobody is doing PQ's or overland RvR.

Its good game,it will get better over time.. But there are some issues that need to be fixed...

- unite servers like..   1 + 1 + 1 => 1

- make order "more atractive" (becouse on most servers - destro have more players)

- some classes need more love (aka balancing)

- I like PvP, but open RvR - still less xp and renow compared to scenarios

P.S.  Joppari , thats becouse you think too much about SW:TOR (I do same thing) :))

It is a great game.. And it will be even  better.

It is all about PvP (RvR)... WAR is something like Counter Strike - WoW mix from my point of view.. So if you like to play 80 % of your time against players - go for it!

You are constantly playing scenarios, and if you have nice guild ( i do), you take enemy keep's - and that can be epic sometimes... HUGE BATTLES (on my server)!

If you ask me - this game is 10x better than WoW, and im veteran WoW player , so i know what im talking..

BUT, in the end its only your opinion that  mather - you will pay and play it..

I wouldnt mind if they create that kind of content... But, Im against Master titles for players.. or eventualy there will be more masters than padawans... I say max rank - Knight for the jedi..

-twilek

-rodian

- droids is option too

Classes:

-Bounty Hunter (tbh - not sure about mandalorian)

- some kind of Special Forces or Commando

I must say that in some part - I agree with you... But not totaly... Any one can play what he want (and with anyone), ill be happy to play with you STO (Im also Vet in SWG - quited, but playing again - and its not so bad), but we cant forbiden kids to play...

In some cases 13 years old kid - can own you and me together... But we will see... Im happy for STO, and i hope that would be decent game... With some mature players... Thats enough for me..

what kind of shity topic is this... Thats to early to predict... Not everyone who post on forum will buy the game... Im 23 years old, and i dont mind the fact kids want to play, I prefer to play with mature players... But why should i be so short minded - every one can play any game...

Hi all.. Im big SOE hater, and now i play SWG! After 3x quit, I play again - the game is now in beter condition then ever (after CU and NGE) Why do I play? Because I enyoj it... When the fun stop (if) I will quit... My opinion: You must try trial, and see the basics of the game...
