Many free mmorpgs survive like this and they're doing just fine. It's more a matter of adapting to the economic reality we're living now.

I had never seen it so I decided to download it to give it a try. I haven't been able to stop ever since I installed it! The game's great; quest system is very well organized, graphics are cool, physics for ragdolls are nice and a lotta fun, you don't get that "being lost" feeling u get in other mmorpgs, there's always something to do be it solo or in groups. If you get into a guild fun will be triple, the community is fantastic, very helpful. Even when just wandering around people are very assisting. I've had more fun with this free2play than in other similar games, and I've had much more fun here than in wow. I guess it's because the game's concept is more "my cup of tea". I'd rather spend some bucks for a subscription in this game than in others. And the basic one is not expensive (US$6) So far it's got all I need; good graphics, awesome quests, good PVP/PVE, cool/hard mobs, nice community, server battles, nightmare time, awesome skills, varied classes/races, possession beasts etc etc. total awesomeness! :D
