I am kinda disapointed to hear what folks are saying about the game. I was looking for this game to do really well so that it would help them make the MMO even better.

I havent played the RPG... but well.... so far the consensus here is that it's ok but nothing to call home about.

By far one of your worst piece... Really you should stick to your usual bitching. Much more enjoyable! Leave the reviews to the guys who do reviews.

They have an English site though. Why would they be spending money on those translations if it was never coming to an English playerbase? Just wondering.

AA looks to be a great game wherever it's made. even if it all falls through, they have the groundwork done already, SOMEONE would buy it back up and continue. and If it's remotely a success in Asia, then it WILL come to USA. Who doesnt want their hand in our pockets? It would be a dumb move to NOT sell it to us lol.

Folks gota realize that it may not release here at all or if it does it will be probably a year or two AFTER it release in Asia.

Hell yeah! get 2 and put your OS on one and games and media on the others.

TSW, as much as i want it too, IS NOT a Sandbox. No housing, no boats, no mounts and the only thing remotely sandboxy is the character skills evolution.

That does not make this a sandbox game.

I dont think so, i think Devs are trying to please too many people at the same time. They should start with keeping one target audience, either PVP, PVE, RvR etc. When i think of how MMO devs plan MMO these days, what comes to mind is the episodes from the Simpsons were Homer design a car.

They are using the same engine as SWTOR... Hero engine...

Considering some of the concerns and issues with SWTOR. Does that worries you about their soon to be released MMO?

I say soon because last march they opened a call center especially for their MMO and also their MMO has been in development for quite a few years. The fact that we havent heard anything yet is a bit worrisome tbh!

No the game didnt cost 300 Mil to make!

Only have to google SWTOR development cost and most figures agree between 80-130.

130 being at the very extreme.

Some EA bigshot even said that at 500K subs they would be very profitable.

Honestly as much as i am "currently" enjoying the game. I know i wont stick with it past 2 months time.

There are more interesting MMO coming out that appeal to me.

What i find more annoying than incorrect infos in the newsletter or their article is the fact that right off the bat we dont even know if the game will be released in the western world.

As it stands it does not. Why not cover games that are actually being released in the core market of the userbase of this website?

I mean, there are a lot more MMO's out there!

What if this game is never released for some unknown reason in North America/ Europe?

Or else you may as well start covering the countless other MMO out there from China and Korea...

Because it's simply too stupid too assume that mistakes will be repeated.

Because in the end i believe they will put a good product and that this game is worth it.

Because it is MY money and i can do whatever i want with it?

Personally, I got illuminati which totally figures given the other two options of either being a religious zealot or of east asian descent of which I am neither.  But I'm cool with that :D

 

Clearly you totally missed out on what Templars and Dragons are....

I emailed them for them to change it and add the game to the list of the soon to be released on the main page.

Considering MMORPG.COM has been covering a fair bit of the game, Surprised it isnt already there.
