Its not that MMOs havnt changed enough. The MMO player has changed dramatically. Fact is, everything was new when EQ1 and the like came out. Just wandering around the world was a new experience that had never been done before. NOw, everything is "Been there, done that".

Yes, 2 more days to try it out then on to open beta on Sunday.

Few questions that still remain to be seen.

Will Chars be wiped on Sunday Morning?

Hey all,

I just wanted to remind everyone about the MMORPG Finder.

This is a code I made to help those looking for new MMOs to try. You can select and rank specific features and  aspects that are important to you, Such as PVE or PvP gameplay, cost, population, less grinding, genre, performance and support, and many others.

It wont automatically find the right game for you, but I hope it can point you in the general direction and give a list of MMOs to consider. Not everyone will agree with some of the lists, but I hope players will find it useful.

It is a code that is always being revamped and reworked. So any input on how to make it better is welcome. I dont mind 'I hate it' posts, so long as its constructive as to how to improve.

I think thats a very smart idea. I never understood the player "oregon land rush;' mentality when a new MMO is released. Enjoy...smell the roses!

Starport: Galactic Empires and Anarchy Online are the only ones that come to my mind

They tried this with Horizon's (Now istaria) And playing a dragon was very popular.

However, I did gather some numbers from close to 600 characters on  MMO Burialgrounds. Of all the race choices, humans are still the most played. See graph HERE (5th graph down)

Also there was some Deer MMO (forget the name of it). All you did was run around, marking your territory and doing other deer things.

I really think its comes down to the attitude of some players just enjoy the journey and not the destination

I expoect it to be in the morning. But I also expect it to be so busy that you probably wont get decent playtime till the afternoon

I'm afraid that there isnt any other way to get into WAR until Sept 7th.

My suggestionn is that you prepare youtrself for that day. Work around the ouse, Get kudo points with your significant other, do all your reports for work ahead of schedule
