That is kind of like saying why would they make anymore games since they are earning plenty from monthly subscriptions. They are a business and with them being a business they do whatever makes them a profit.
Yeah i've heard the business thing before, but the majority of other MMO's don't put adverts on the homepage because they don't need to, it's wasted space. They would rather fill that space with something about the game. Blizzard is only after making cash from WOW now, not making it a better game, that means they have lost interest. If they have lost interest, then they must be thinking about their new MMO more, hence they will start making that their main priority soon. |

Originally posted by Deathstiny Nowhere in my post do i say wow will suddenly stop. I simply stated that wow is ending, they can forsee it, and now they are milking the cashcow for all its worth, they are spending most of their efforts on the new MMO. Trust me, when the sub numbers stop being released, u will know they are dropping and Blizzard will soon release the first details of the new MMO, to bring them all back in. |

Who cares, i don't check the forums enough to know every post ever made, i didn't even know someone had posted it, I just made this conclusion using my own thoughts from occasionaly checking the WoW site. You fail at pointing out silly errors on forums instead of giving valuable feedback. I only thought of this and thought this was the best forum to vent out this thought. Good Day Sir. |

cant deny the proof tho. |

Proof: WoW is Ending. Firstly i would like to say that i really enjoyed my stint of WoW, it was great. I played for 2 years, attaining full epic kit from karazhan when it first came out. But since that it started going down hill. What do you guys think? |

Yes SWG fans, all your fears are justified

SWG was no where near perfect, and i'd be happy with a Star Wars skin over a WOW type game. |

why did they have to copy wow's battlegrounds model?
General Discussion « WAR (Warhammer Online) 9/21/08 10:48:10 AM
When will people learn: Innovation != Good Gameplay. Blizzard took everything they have seen in MMO's and polished it up. Just beacause they didn't innovate doesn't mean that the gameplay is going to be bad, the numbers prove that it isn't. I tried Warhammer, and it just seems like they wanted to make a polished version of WoW with some new elements added. It isn't that good, in fact it made me want to play WoW again. |

I'm glad there is no Death Penalty.. Reason? Scenario: You're in PvP/RvR theres a group of enemies closing in on you, you're outnumbered, but with luck you might just win. With a death penalty in PvP, your group members would just run away, thinking they are outnumbered and there is no hope, why risk sitting AFK for 10 minutes if you KNOW you're going to die. Without a death penalty in PvP, your group members might see there are more enemies but you wouldn't mind about dieing, if it meant you might just win. No penatly on losing so just go for it, etc.
The death penalty in PvE however is understandable, and adds a bit of excitement when you might die. It also gives you an incentive not to run in with no brain and attack stupidly. |

Straight to the point: Potential WoW killer here?
General Discussion « WAR (Warhammer Online) 8/18/08 1:37:21 PM
It doesn't have to kill WOW to be any good, although it most definitly will offer some nice competition for it. WOW needs some competition to stop the developers shoveling out crap to their playerbase, hopefully, WAR will give them a nice kick up the arse. Only the gamers will really be glad. Just look at PS3/Xbox/Wii, if they didn't have each other, on their own they would suck. |

The system looks great, much better than WoW's crafting system i must say. The only problem i can see though is that Talismans are created for high level items, yet what is the point in a level 10 or 20 (cant remember) creating talismans? |

After using AoC's forums, no official forums for WAR seems smart
General Discussion « WAR (Warhammer Online) 5/30/08 6:26:22 AM
Communities should be developed in the servers not in forums, i for one, am glad that there are no forums, other MMO forums are just for whining. |

The Definitive WAR Crafting Thread
General Discussion « WAR (Warhammer Online) 5/29/08 3:23:09 PM
I'm so glad they didn't include Weapon and Armor crafting. It was one thing in WoW that annoyed me.... To have weapon and armor crafting causes an issue as there are either bosses/pvp that people dont want to take part in because they can craft better, or that you can get the best items from drops/pvp so there's no need to craft. I especially like the idea of custom types of potions instead of WoWs generic pots that are always the same. |

If content is king why is EQ2 after 4, yes 4, expansions, still lagging behind WoW after 1?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 1/22/08 5:08:55 PM
People want to play with millions of other people, thats why WoW keep going on about their user base. No-one wants to play a game that is dead, you feel alone and bored. I find that i usually log off around the time, all my friends log off, usually because the social aspect of an MMO disapears without friends. |

wow surpassed 10 million mark congratz to wow.
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 1/22/08 4:51:59 PM
In before ''Dur maybe dat is 10 million accounts, not 10 million subscribers''. Although on my server, it doesn't seem to be as busy as it used to be. |

Wow is so big now, that i think that it won't be just one game that will kill it. I think it will be a mix between a couple of really nice games, and a bad expansion pack that will take a majority of the player base. But even after that i think there will be enough players for blizz to keep wow going. Remember, they aimed for a player base of around 500k... |
