I think its time for this MMOGamer to throw in the towel

I think level caps limit mmo's in an unmeasurable ammount. |

Looking forward to it :) I just wish they would do a tiny amount of advertising to actually make players aware - i heard from word of mouth. |

I played mir2 for a good few years, got hacked though so i quit. However i preffered mir3 since it felt like a fresh start, the graphics were a litlte more colourfull, taos got shinzu and skelly, new towns dungeons etc. But im glad both games are back, i just hope they both get enough people actually playing - ive seen no advertisments whatsoever, so i guess they are relying on word of mouth. |

i dont know if any of the old legend of mir 3 fans are still about, but its set to make a return on thursday (23rd). For anybody who was a fan, i think most agree it was the most addictive mmo any of us have ever played. After its collapse in the hands of QGO, most of us went to wow, and have been there for 3 years now. Wow is great, it has everything a good mmo should have, except that xfactor of addiction. Mir3 was an aquired taste i think, it was an old classic where if you died, there was a good chance your dropping items, pots etc, death also meant losing experience. Its such a fun game, fighting for boss's that only spawn every 2 hours, fighting over what it drops, who gets to take what and whatever. Admitidley it lacked a lot of depth, but its depth was its simplicity. Just last month me and my girlfriend had split, which was the only thing keeping me playing wow really, id done pretty much everything and killed everything (though havent seen ulda) so once ive done this mammoth project for college, ill be set to immerse myself in to it again :) Its a worldwide server i think.... im hoping it gets enough people to warrant a full time contract from wemade. Its very sad really, but a game like mir3 can give your life purpose lol, with no level cap, no laws - ahhh i cant wait

not a whole lot to see, just the registration to wemade. download goes live on thursday i think :) |

SoSo the actual game we will pay to play isnt out for another 4 months? :S
Will the characters from sog get wiped, or are they transfered over to the DnL servers? How can i get hold of sog cus i hate hearing about a game and having to wait 4 months to play it :S A And why are they taking open beta applciations for DnL if sog is basically the open beta of DnL O.o
ty for the answers though, greatly apreciated |

Ive tried posting on the DnL forums but im still wiating for my forum account to be acitvated :/ So i tryed looking at sum of theyre forum QA's but still couldnt find the exact answers im loooking for. 1) Why did they make SoG and DNL? I mean in the QA they said sog is like a gift to the community... but why waste millions of pounds developing a prequal to a game that coems out a month or so later? (DnL) Or will you require SoG to play DnL? 2) Is this game really going to be as good as it clainms.... i mean it just has too many features, sort of too good to be true. 3) Has any1 here played any beta phases and can tell us if it is actually any good? Is the pvp clumsy? Can you attack a Dark,Or light player as soon as you see them? Will necromancers have summons? thats about all for now, id of posted this on the DnL forums but it doesnt let me create threads :( |

Omg ive just heard about this game, ive been hooked on it ever since, i cant stop reading about it and checking out all the screenies. It looks absolutly amazing and is massivly pvp orientated. Apprantly the only down side of it was there is a heavy (typical asian) grind for leveling, but CM (codemasters) are apprantly taking brisk action to make it more freindly to the Western Market, by increasing experience etc. The quests are apprantly really good, the pvp is awesome with a war over sum mines every 8 hours O.o I really hope CM put sum fudns in to advertising and get this game noticed, it looks and sounds incredible
