Hero's Journey will (Game still in beta or something like that) have a bard class. They can either be a Bard-rogue, Bard-Warrior or Bard-Ranger.

I am right with you here. I have always wanted to see MMOs with new genres, like POTBS. I will be preordering / buying POTBS as soon as possible, I'm hoping it will turn out to be a great game.

If not, the next developers of a historical nautical MMO can improve where POTBS went wrong

You should be OK running the 2D client, I wouldn't want to try the KR client on dial-up though.

So burn-out is going to happen...its what happened to me...so I left the game and moved on..... now I play EVE and don't feel the same pressure to reach the "end" game...because there isn't one..... I'm already flying side by side with 3 year vets and enjoying almost everything the game has to offer.

I did the same thing- burnt out the game especially with raiding after playing for a few years (even with short breaks here and there) and now back on EVE again

Jason just about summed it up there. You are not 'expected' or 'forced' to raid very often and aim to get that phat lewt in black temple. You are not forced to grind every faction to the highest level nor anything else that requires a lot of dedication You play the game for fun (so i hope), and you should decide what is fun for yourself. Playing for loot is not a good idea.

I've had a lot of fun PvPing in WoW although one of the aspects I don't like is you don't feel like you are really achieving anything, because the world around you is not affected. This is something I think should be implemented in the future, for example- PvPing in warsong gulch should contribute to which faction has control over Ashenvale on your server, the same with other contested zones.

They are very fun, for some reason I thought he listed it already when I wrote mine. On fun thing about Bards in Vanguard is that through their songs they can run faster than another player's mount can run ^_^

That sounds fun, and saves you the 10gold cost or however much it is to buy a mount
