Anyone able to confirm how much quest experience was increased by, perhaps as a percentage?

I'd say only Aion/Darkfall could match that kind of PvP, imo.

The main reason I picked up Aion and continue to play!

trust me when i said they will reban you if you attempt to buy a new aion cd key. Im not going to provide all the info, its just some little juicy info to those who thinks they can just rebuy a cd key if they were banned.

So, you were banned and rebought a CD key and got banned again :)?

Perhaps you should ask NCSoft for details on how they came to their conclusions instead of posting here..?

As a guess, perhaps gameguard or whatever anti-cheat systems the client has (I have no idea what, feel free to correct me) has found a trojan or something on your system which it flagged while you were playing or something to that effect.

Ignore that guy, I appreciate your posts and enjoy reading them and I'm sure many other people do.

You've really sparked my interest in DFO over the past few days, considering giving it a try.

Would it be wise to wait for the expansion to release first, do you think?

Passion!

No. Authenticators are completely optional.

What you must do is merge your World of Warcraft account into a Battle.net account at the website here for EU or here for US

There's very well "set up" roleplaying communities on many Ultima Online servers, I've personally played on Europa and it was very good indeed. If you don't mind playing with outdated graphics (though the new client graphics are pretty damn nice), I highly recommend it.

IIRC, on the Europa server there's about 10-15 guilds collaborating together and creating the fantastic roleplaying environment, there's always people online and many events being organised. One of the most notable is the Guardsmen Militia; to give an example of how established the guilds there are.

For me, it's a game world that is believable, and consistent in terms of content, but that changes dynamically from time to time.  A static world offers little immersion compared to one that changes with time.  Also good ambient sounds help a lot, birds chirping, crickets, frogs when in a swamp, stuff of that nature.

I second that. I'm a big lore fan aswell, if there's not lore that I can believe as if it were real; I can't really immerse myself in the world.

If there's a cash shop on top of a subscription fee, then I don't mind as long as the purchasable items do not help you advance your character. So I consider the WoW pet store fine - totally optional, I'd buy the cool panda if I had the money to spare because i'm a bit of a pet collector and simply put it looks awesome.

They're totally optional, fun extras - personally I don't see the fuss about those. But cash shop items which are, for example, above average armor sets which have stats and arn't just fluff - i agree with the OP there.

Icecrown raid will be gated much like Sunwell/ToC was, eg:

Week one: X number of bosses available

Week two: Y number of bosses available

did they add chat window opacity control yet? As i said In another thread I refuse to play Aion until they do.

Didn't see anything about that in those patch notes.

Are those usable on european accounts?

Assuming you're a 25man guild; there is a casual (3days/week, if not enough people turn up *shrug*) guild on my server that has been raiding casually since the release of TBC.

They use a loot council system taking into account effort made and people who for example can only make 1 raid a week etc etc, it's probably the best option since balancing the loot is fully in your control. Rolling works too, but i'd reckon you would have the most active raiders getting peeved often when someone who can hardly ever make it wins all the rolls when they're there.

But if you're 10man, /roll or just discuss between you who gets it if you're all friends.

I've heard even though the game just launched there is already 'premium content' for sale, and an NPC in the game bugs you about buying it.

My question is what is this 'premium content' and how much does it or doesn't it impact the game?

IIRC, there's two DLC packs available at the moment (both which come with any boxes shipped on release)

One is an armor pack and the other is to unlock a playable character which has a storyline to play through to get it I believe.

I'd like a code, -removed-

thanks in advance.

I have five scrolls available. PM me your email address OR character name and server, whichever you prefer.
