Click the pic. There's an address link in the address bar of the browser which identifies both the thread and the post. The links in muffins post link to both that thread and that post. Neither work, therefore no thread and no post. ie - it doesn't exist. |

It just proves the rule - take everything you find on mmorpg with a handfull of troll-salt. |

Read that thread. That pic was proved to be fake. |

It's dying anyway. The combination of Darkfall, Warhammer and WotLK should put it out of its long suffering misery. |

Tasos never said that. Stop making stuff up. From the link -

lol You're in a really weak position to say any of that Mikey. You're a fanboi of some gawd-awful game called Citadel of Suckery, who became a MMORPG correspondent for that flaming turd of eventual failure. Can you prove that Citadel of Suckery exists? They have just 10 'screenshots' that look like they were modelled in a free 3D program by abject ammeters. They even claim to have a game world "larger than the entire surface of the Earth with the oceans included!" Yeah ... sure ... Darkfall is vaporware. *rolleyes* |

The only date they stated for the video is "August".

I notice that every weekend peak is lower than the previous weekend peak. 30487 27201 22180 20217 17512 That must be a 40% drop over the last month alone. If this continues then it'll definitely be at or below 10000 next month. |
|
The Monday figures seem to average 6,000 less than the previous Sunday figures over the last month, so maybe your figure of 16,500 is a bit high? I'm guessing it will be 20,000(Sunday) - 6,000 = 14,000 ... but that may be too pessimistic. Should be interesting to see. |

The thing is that AoC's figures get substantially boosted over weekends, unlike other mmorpg's like WoW, Silkroad and Guild Wars which are mostly stable through the week. Of course both EVE Online and Lotro also get substantial weekend boosts, but their figures are stable and are not trending downward like AoC's (though nose-diving might be more a more appropriate term considering that GW, once lower than AoC, now has twice the gaming hour figures of AoC) |
|
It's going to get over-taken by EVE Online at this rate. Let's hope the playerbase stabilises soon. |

Friction hits Deviliscious with a Dry Humour spell. Deviliscious critically fails her saving throw. Deviliscious is hit for 27,000 points of embarrassment damage. |

o.o EDIT - @AmazingAvery - For a company to be given a widely used insult (Funcomed/FunCon/etc) that alleges shady dealings isn't good for the company's rep or business. |

Yay for me! |

Late 2009 is when they expect AoC to be 'complete' enough for a console launch? So basically AoC will essentially be in paid-for-beta for over a year?!? :wow: |

Why is it that they did not hold any Q&A's with mmorpg.com?

It was never a merger. It was never called a merger. |

You have your time-line wrong there. The Razorwax team jumped ship and were integrated into Aventurine in 2002. Four years later this abandoned company (Razorwax) with no employees slid into bankruptcy. |
