Telling lies about a game simply put is lame as hell.I am currently playing EQ2 with shadows using "gasp" the G8800 gts myself with zero crashing .

If you feel the game is dying a slow death thats your  opinon as the ingame population says different.I seen  more posts regarding the exodus of players in LOTRO a far newer game then EQ2.EQ2 has a established player base thats not moving anywhere soon like all mmorpg 2 years +,LOTRO is still in the teething phase where it needs to grab players.

I wish both lotro and eq2 good luck and would never spread lies against them  as you are doing.

Get over it some like EQ2 ,some like LOTRO,telling lies to try  get fans over for a company you got no shares in is so sempiternal lol

He can't guy he's fuming because the OP left his pet game and is inquiring about EQ 2.  I have noticed that EQ II is getting a lot of players that liked LOTRO, but just blew through everything. They are tired of killing pigs and bringing bear hides to the Rangers.  EQ II is growing there is no doubt about that and it has fans of other MMORPGs worried.  SOE as a company brought in over a 150 million in profit last year nearly  all of that was from subscriptions For any one that doesn't believe that Linky....

 A good deal of that  business is from EQ II. So much for the dying game theory. People are playing and enjoying EQ II, it is bringing in new customers. Is the game for everyone?  Nope. Let people play the games they enjoy, instead of spewing BS or biased opinion, tell folks to give the Trial a shot and have them make up there own mind.  You don't see me or any other EQ II player on the LOTRO or WoW forums trolling trolling do you?  Your not winning souls for your game..so why bother?

Okay I presumed you did make a station account? if so....   Go to preferences  on the main menu and click full file scan, you are probably missing  a file or two that was missed in patching. The latest  version of EQ is Ecohs of Faydwer...I am curiouse where you got this version..even more curiouse how much you spent for it as the newest version is only like 30 bucks now

Yeah it's what they tell em to say.   We were talking about this in guild chat a few nights ago, it's almost if they are reading from a script.

One guy posted a bunch of links a couple days back the chronicled what he called an orginized smear campaign against EQ II, it was pretty eye opening, and shortly afterward the post was deleted and I guess the guy was banned...I haven't seen him post since.  They are discussing it now on the off topic EQ II forums., but I don't know if they posted the links there.

1: what do you like best about everquest 2

* The community, very friendly helpful and mature, the total opposite of some more “popular” MMORPGs

*The Quest system is fun and engaging, I never once felt like I was grinding for the next level

* The mentoring system that lets higher level players group with anyone lower level and help them trough quest and dungeons

* There is so much more to besides questing you can craft , you do writs that will gain  levels for your guild,  you can PVP (Real PVP)  You can buy a pet and fight them in the arena, and pretty soon you will be able to play a Collectable card game in game.

3: What do you think of the crafting in EQ 2

Playing MMORPGs since UO I would say it is the best, most comprehensive crafting system around, very easy to get into, but very challenging, and I’m not talking about challenging as in I have to hit the same button for six hours to make this chair. I would say a close second is Lotro crafting but I think EQ2 is best.

4: is housing fun in EQ2.
I think so the things you can do to customize your pad is insane, you can sell and pretty soon buy from your bulletin board (Like your own private AH)

5: do you like the content SOE supply you with

Yes they are on their fourth major expansion pack, and they crank out quality content like there is no tomorrow,  while other developers that have raked in millions more in profit can barely manage One Expansion pack in three years.

I started EQ II on a lark, it was being trashed so bad by game fan sites, compensated bloggers, and fanbois of other games I thought nothing can be this bad…actually I should thank them because if they didn’t trash EQ II so hard I would have never tried it.

I dunno,  I see more people on LD than I do on Landroval lately, as for clunkier graphics.....that's opinion, and looking at the Graphics upgrade in RoK  I can't see how anyone rational call  that clunky.
