I don't want to spam, but Regnum Online would be your choice, just search it in the game list. Great community and a decent premium shop that doesn't affect gameplay at all.

Regarding the article:

Community is important, and especially for those games that have a base gameplay that requires players to group up to play. Why is this so? You may have a simple game, nothing from out of this world, and people will love it just because of that social interaction (yeah, some loners may come and go easily). Then, what pisses off most player of an F2P game is when you know that even if you play 10 years to get your gear, it would make no difference if you don't pay.

So, the best thing to do is check out who are really free to play games and who are "free to try". F2P must mean that the end gameplay must be fully playable and with no disadvantages, paying or not. Given this, the list of F2P games narrows down a lot.

Seriously, the game should be called LAGnum online....the lag is what defines this game, not the actual game play itself.

This update was the best ever... the game is getting more and more exciting, I haven't seen you in a long long time and of course, because you can't stay too much time in a game due to your "bitchness".

You should learn not to shout at everyone and get to know how much this game offers in RvR. Not for your classic hit and run.

Mmm... there's a little bit of exaggeration in your post

The game is RvR, so if you concentrate on PvP kind-of balance, you've chosen the wrong game.

It's true that there is an existing imbalance (as in every MMORPG but a liitle bit more) and that should be fixed.

There are rumours of the Invasions feature coming soon and that balance will have a lot of tweaks... I hope that's true!

I've been thinking about Invasions as any player has done and I think they will be very exciting, providing a lot of RvR battles, where balance will be in players organization...

I played a lot of massives, Regnum has some problems, but RvR fights beat the crap out of any other MMORPG I played... seems I'm a bit more patient, but you are right on some points, but man... you've overreacted

I played a lot. This game isn't so bad, but I think that there should be an enhancement in Community Interaction among the first levels, and when you reach to higher levels there should be chances for everyone in every level to have fun in PvPs, as sometimes if you are not greatly equipped or leveled, you may fail.

I think that an MMORPG must unite people while playing, and Fiesta is not the example, that's why I quitted.

I made a new character on Horus server and it's fascinating the revival of starting a new world as we did some time ago!

There is a lot of fun in creating new nemesises (if this word exists! hahaha!) and making new friends... even enemies in other servers are now you allies :)

Although I agree on some points you said, I must point out that you are exaggerating a little bit.

The game has been enhanced a lot in this year I have been playing, and it's totally unfair to say things like you said. I also know that they are only 8 that probably are biting more than they can chew, but, using your words, I thing that this game can get even better.

I know about the problems that the game has, and balance is one of them, but they told us they are training people to do this, I believe in them because even if time passed on by a little, they always answered or showed hard work. But, leaving this aside, they must be more professional... in this, I agree.

So, the game has its flaws, but I can't leave because it has a lot of good too. I don't think it's a downward spiral they are into, I think its a time of transition and change which will prepare them to face a new stage...

It's true what sebniemi says, you can get great graphics too in this game, and really, gameplay is easy to use, as you can notice this two things in this video:

this is by far the best free mmorpg out there, its linux client runs preety smooth and fun is a big factor.

i'd like to have more time to play, but sincerely, its addiction will cause me lots of problems

I've never seen a game where passed some weeks you know everybody and chats are so funny and grouplike. Not like other games where chat is only used to thank someone who saved you, or tell somebody to f....

In the Realm chat  we talk about life, games, politics, religion... I met a lot of interesting people!

I don't completely agree.

Regnum is similar to games like WoW and DaoC, but it takes good features from them and evolves in a particular way, say... just adapting to the community and getting everyone a chance to contribute in doing so.

Regnum is a game for those who love RvR and love involving in a great community. Regnum catchs you by it's social factor and good gameplay, you should try it then, even if you hate WoW.

I tested it and it really caught me!

I reached lvl 22 with my marksman, though it's a little difficult to lvl I had help of other players and started to level faster, and doing quests I got some extra XP to get to this level. Community is great, they help whenever you have a problem and there is a lot of english players even being an argentinian game. I managed to get to a skirmish between realms and had lots of fun, the enemy had to reconquer it's fort and we were trying them not to get close to it. the skirmish lasted about 2 hours! I like this game a lot, first I found it slow at the beggining, but I don't regret continuing it because found a reason to pass through the first part. I totally reccommend it!
