EA says theat SWTOR has lost no subs.    I know 5 people(once rabid fans of the game) that I game with that have stopped playing.    If you have stopped playing cast your vote.   

If you are a fan of the game Mount and Blade, you may want to check out their newest DLC(only $9.99) Napoleonic Wars.   They have added 220 new units, artillery, and you can now have a maximum of 200 players battling it out.    If you all ready have Mount and Blade make sure to update to 1.151 patch.

SWTOR doesn't have 1.7 million subs, doesn't have 1.2 million, they are sitting on about 650k subs right now and it continues to drop.   After the 6 month subs run out, and games like D3, TERA, GW2 and Secret World release SWTOR will be lucky to hold onto 300k subs.

Agree...no other MMO, or computer game, that I can think of matches the shear level of failure that the NGE wrought on SWG and SOE.   7 years on and SOE is still paying the price for their attitude toward their player base.  They tossed them under the bus and laughed while doing it.

Must have been some pretty nastty bugs because they are actually rolling back parts of patch 1.2 and having to rebuild some areas of the game.    They are now saying that the servers will be down until the situation is resolved.

Incoming free time for all - I see this in your future if you play SWTOR.

This is what happens when you let asshats in your game run it.  It is like Lord of the Flies in a prison setting.   When the prison allows the inmates to run the prison.  This is what happens.  Now he threatens to take down the game.   CCP should ban him and the players of Goonswarm for life from EVE.

The future is more easily predicted because we have a better understanding and knowledge of the universe around us, and that knowledge is growing exponentially.

If you have ever played EVE you know this type of behavior is not uncommon.  In fact I would go so far to say that it is actually condoned by CCP(despite their saying otherwise) and many of players that play the game.

Seriously, what are the real reasons on why this game is THAT bad? I'm only level 30 in the game so I haven't experienced the full game, but from the beginning to where I'm at I've enjoyed it. 

I don't see it, and don't see why I should be ashamed of playing and enjoying it either.

This is all that matters - if you enjoy it - that is all that really matters in the end.   Sure some of us are critical of it, but we have our reasons, that doesn't mean someone, somewhere will not derive enjoyment from it.  So if you enjoy it, I say play it and do not be ashamed because you do.  ^_^

Someone on youtube said "Gamers arean't stupid, they know what they want".  I think it's a fair statement.

It wasn't long ago that I wrote an article about how humans will eventually meld with machines and then eventually become extinct.    As we race faster ahead technologically we'll spend more time in virtual worlds and synthetic bodies(bodies so real you cannot tell them apart from a body produced the old fashioned way - the difference being that the synthetic body will be free of diseases, cancer, and easily repaired or replaced).  

Anyway...here is a great website that tries to look into a distant future based on what is happening now and the immediate future and then tries to expound upon the knowledge by looking at our past and how we have advanced to where we are today.

Though there are a number of things at this website I take issues with, I think from the many other websites like it I have come across, this one takes you right to the end of the Universe itself.   ^_^

If we are to see possible timeline such as this occur, we as a human species will first have to throw of the rediculous notions of tribalism, religion, and nationality.  

The reason these games have NDA's is because they don't want people to know how crappy their game truly is.
