I was in the AOC beta, i warned people not to buy it cause the game was not ready yet, and then we got FAILCOM...

I Am not a wow hater like some WOW fanbois say, I still have an active account that i play once in a while, but i wont keep it open after WAR or some other new MMO that attracts my attention comes out. I just dont want to pay another 40 bucks or so for the game i am playing 4 years and just have 1 new class called death knight... sry but 2 new tradeskills 1 new class some new dungeons with old remodeled mobs in it is not worth 40-50 bucks.

But then again if WAR fails and nothing good comes out for the rest of 2009 i might go buy it out of sheer desperation. But then again any other game that comes out (diablo3 , Starcraft2 and most likely FALLOUT 3) will get my money first...

I must say after reading and seeing the things coming up in WOTLK expansion, i am truly disappointed. Blizz is taking $40 (or maybe 50 or xpac?) from our pockets just to have 1 more new playable class... death knight

There are like 4-5 more new instances most of which have recycled monster models with new colors.

Naxx is recycled again so i get to play 2 year old content again...

Tradeskills are still  a joke, and without raiding mats u cant only craft stupid useless stuff.

Few more BG's... shouldnt we have more than 4 in 4 years. And forget BG's everyone will form an arena team and afk out to get their free arena gear... play a rogue/druid or warrior/druid anything with druid and win...

I was very hyped after seeing the cinematic but i am not going to pay for the content which should be free after 4 years. I will try WAR for a while, even if it sucks at least i will be fighting against new character models...

Beast boss in UBRS model = Chromaggus in BWL lair = Demons in Area 51 = Trash mobs in WOTLK instances... recycle more???

because i played Naxxramas 2 years ago and i dont want to pay another $50 to play it again after 2 years...

The original poster put his ideas together and gave his idea of what he thinks about the game. I appreciate him writing it, and will take it into consideration while buying WAR (which will be 2-3 weeks after release cause i dont wanna have another AOC)

wow development is awesome. millions of customers and 2 ppl developing content the way it seems....

same mobs and items and different colors mostly over and over again....

it used t o be great but now it lacks content and WOTLK wont cut it...

Yes, they should have released that content for free last year, not end of 2008 and for another $29.99 or 35, i wonder how much they will charge...

Most mobs are same skin just different color...

more grind to lvl 80 and all the factions u grinded before are all worthless again...

I am sorry but i think i will pass this expansion...

thats sad but i am lucky that some1 is beta testing the game, its gonna be an awesome game when its released next year finally... cant wait for AOC!!!

I saw it coming at the beta test and open pvp weekend, so i didnt buy the game. Pretty graphics, thats about it...nothing new to see here except bugs/exploits that i have never seen before.

I am going to give it another 3-4 months see if i can get a free trial if i am not into WAR by then.....

Man having teleport spots in your spellbook and go to your grind and mining places instantly without riding the stupid gryphon for 15 mins.....

those were the days...

WOTLK changes:

-recolored the mobs in molten core to green now its a new instance called the green core, also renamed all the items...

-New area called northlands, renamed and recolored the mobs in Karazhan, now they drop leet lvl 80 loot.

- new arena season, retarded instanced pvp...

-more daily quests to do it over and over and over and over again everyday...

all for $30...

I will pass, i might go buy a few books to read till WAR comes out.

I quit WOW because it turned into ARENAcraft butit looks like i might go back to it cause its much better than "if there is more than 5 ppl in an area and even though u have the lowest graph settings then u will either have 3fps and lag or crash, and then u have to hardboot your comp."

its fun to lvl 1-70 (well 2-3 times maybe) but then the end game is boring.... all u can do is da the daily's everyday then go queue BG and arena... end game sucks...

yes they are trying to get all the money from you suckers...

Never ever preorder a MMO, most of them fail miserably or become playable in 6 months after 12232334 patches and fixes...

I will be waiting both for WAR and AOC, even though i smell a darkfall from AOC

and yes that was the other thig, the REVOLUTIONARY combat system was basicly smashing my keys. I like the shield block and parry stuff but comboing and key smashing gets old after a while, I wanna ALT TAB and download porn when fighting a mob thats like 10 lvl lower than me... I miss my wow paladin :)

I will wait at least 3 months if i ever buy this game, then again if i wait 3 months i just wait for another month or 2 then buy WAR,,,

my very standard system was lagging terribly when 10 ppl were right next to eachother and doing spellcasting etc.  And my graphics settings were set to low.

Its great game but unless u have an uber system it lags and crashes a lot when u walk into a room with 10-15 ppl. Thats the biggest reason why i am not buying this gae cause my comp cant handle it.
