I sure hope they DO allow villains at launch, especially if they want to be seen as a company that's learned from some of City of Heroes shortcomings.

It wouldn't hurt if they evolved their ideas about PvP inclusion as well. Maybe they will  after the three heavyweights of PvP hit this year; AoC's border kingdoms, WAR's RvR, and if nothing else, WoW's world PvP.

I'd be satisfied with just the ability to play a villain though.

 Well let's see, my eldest niece gave birth to her first baby, healthy baby girl, so that means I'm a great uncle twice now,  my youngest niece had hers a year before hand, a baby girl as well, my mum and dad are on holidays, Oh and If I hear one more F'n complaint about AoC I'll go mental, Online games I like playing at the moment, Requiem, RYL 2, Neo Steam, Perfect world just to name a few online games, also like playing Mount & Blade, Battlefront's Drop Team, Rogue Trooper  are the singleplayer games on my dance card, I'm enjoying the singleplayer games more at the moment, Anyway's my mum and dad will be back next week and did I tell you about my car dying on me, man what  a pain that was, let me tell you.......

I think they already are.

I was playing it last week, found it a bit boring and lacking in graphic's, so I but moved over to playing RYL2 instead.

Although i do believe in "search first", the list doesnt say what kind of pvp/gameplay the game has.

I luv'ed playing DDO and even thou I haven't sub for awhile, I still keep it installed ready to play,( after an update!)

You should download the 10 day trial and give it a go, really helps to have a mic to chat with as well.

After a few hours, I wondered why I was playing and that sealed the deal.  No motivation to go on, since I can't remember anything about the story.  Its certainly worth trying out and I can see why it has a cult following, but most people who love it are those "2 cool 4 school" kind of guys.

Its certainly better than most F2P games, but thats what it feels like.

yep found out the hard way about entering a captured town, very painfull.

As well as play the rich nobelmans son, I'm also trying the game a merchant and a hunter, the full version offers even more starting types.

I thought it was up till level 6 for  trail, the game will let you keep playing that or any other type of charcter for as long as you want, but we do have buy the key if we want to level higher, I'll be getting it soon, cheaper while in beta than when they release it as a full version, about $45-$50 dollar au, $28.xx at the moment.

I don't know if they would ever consider a mmorpg version, but I hope they do a standard multi-player version as well.

Sorry I have to totally disagree with you, what you are proposing is the same old, same old mmorpg, what I think should happen is, no weapons,( unless you were born with them) no armor, no questing, no guilds, only herds and prides and other natrual groupings, no humans, it would be about the animals and living in the enviroment, very reality based and yes educational. play a bear or even a rabbit,( playing a rabbit would be cool, imagine how fast you could be, now imagin your a hawk trying to swoop down and catch the rabbit or just hunting as wolves with your freinds and trying to figure out how to bring the black bear down. if done right you could even research the real creatures and there habits and tactics to get a clue on want to do in the game, far as I can tell, this is kinda what there making the singleplayer version like.
