Strangely enough, it's a secret!

Don't know, sounds pretty crafty to me.

" and old gamers die!"

But..I thought we just respawned, WTF!?!

I play both, F2p and P2P and there is nothing wrong with ether gaming style, just players attitudes.

Tom & Jerry the MMO, can't wait, finally Tom get's the chance he's waited all these years, the chance to PK Jerry once and for all, that mouse has been flaming and baiting Tom for years, he's got it coming in spades, making Tom & Jerry the mmo is Tom's only chance at a fair PVP match with Jerry.

Dat mouse has got it coming!

Should be the match of the year and the mmo of the decade!

Hi I played the beta and made a 11th level fighter, where did he go, did they wipe all beta toon's or something?

Tried eBay?

Do a search for time card or game card, it's a small search, so best to check it regular, the game card of your choice will eventually show up, remeber they will go fast, so keep an eye out, good point is you can get some at a real bargians, I once got 3x ncsoft 60 day time card's for $4.95au each, any way good luck happy hunting.

"NOTE: All credit card subscriptions are recurirng for your convenience. Your credit card will automatically be charged for the selected above once your current subscription ends."

I have posted on the tech FAQ pages... on the forum - but using a forum post to unsubscribe is highly unusual.

Ok I'll take back the Noob comment, sorry about that,

For the chat window to work you must turn off your browser's pop up blocker, it's most likly stopping the window from opening.

which mean's that you would cancel thru the chat window, or they have forgotten to put up the cancel button,( since they tell you, that you can cancel on that page.)

I used coins to sub, we don't seem to have this problem, it just didn't let me access my 16th level toon when my time was up, I've had to come back and buy more coin's for my 2nd month.

hope this help's.

Its been said before, but I realised today the extent to which it is impossible to cancel your account in this game.

And don't give me this crap  that this option will appear sometime in the unspecified future.

They have a button 'need help, click to chat now' which does nothing.

There is no customer supoprt email that I could find.

Very sad. Great game, but empty, and this lack of unsubscribe smacks of a scam.

I really really felt I had a new home here, but there are fewer peopel playing now than there were even a week ago as far as I can tell.

What a tragedy. The best combat since a long time. But I warn you.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE.. THEY DO NOT LET YOU UNSUBSCRIBE!

[ Mod Edit ]

You don't have to unsubscribe, it will end automatically when your time runs out, then you will still have access to all your toons who are not over 9.9th level, when your sub runs out you will not be able to login into any toon that is over 9.9th level, as for support, here's a link to the forums support page.

That entire summary assumes you're buying everything with diamonds bought with real money.  We all know that's not necessary, especailly since diamonds are available on the AH for gold and items you sell on the AH can be listed for diamonds.  Not to mention the fact that they now offer many of the upgrade items for tokens as well.

So yeah, people should take this info with a grain of salt.

Agreed. People shoudl also realize that since about 1 in 7 players actually pays in these F2P games, the money they will rake in from those players is bound to be higher than a year ofmonthly subs.

None of this should come as a surprise to anyone.

Not trying to argue with you LynxJSA, but where did you get those numbers from," since about 1 in 7 players pays in these F2P games," are they just off the top of your head, or do you have a source or link?

It's ok if it was just off of the top of your head sort of fact, I was just wondering.

I think it was Bob Ferrari of Sanrio Digital that I got it from. It was brought up in a recent conference on business in gaming that about 15% of the playerbase in an F2P MMO monetizes the game.

You wouldn't have a link would you, sounds intresting, wouldn't mind having a read it, cheer's.

Multiplayer Battletech 3025
Sadly this one never made it out of Beta.

I was in the beta for that game and it was pretty tight and very close to completion when MS forced EA to pull the plug on it.  Rather a bizarre situation, MS licensed out the IP to Kesmai (the developers of MPBT 3035 and Solaris) with EA publishing and running the MMO (EA had just purchased Kesmai at the time).  This was at the same time MS had "The Zone" for their games which had a matchmaking service for the MechWarrior games.  For some reason, literally a few weeks away before MPBT 3025 went final, MS came to the conclusion that having a MMO Mechwarrior game would take away profits from The Zone and potential box sales of Mechwarrior as well and forced EA to pull the plug.

At the time MPBT 3025 was going through it's closed beta process, it was the #1 game on EA.com, despite the fact it was not an open beta.  It had more players logged in during prime time hours than any other EA online game at the time.

Pity if they had gone ahead, it most likely would have been the king of mmorpg's and we most likely would never have heard of WoW, they really did put a lot of work into this, http://www.mpbt3025.com/ if you look under images in the side bar menu, you can see they had very exstensive list of mech's to offer, maybe we should all just start hassling EA to re-release it now,( it can't hurt The Zone or the MW franchise any more now!), man what a waste, just make's me want to cry, specially when you look at the current stock of mmorpg's we got to play.

I think we are looking back at MPBT with rose colored glasses.  I played it heavily, and enjoyed some aspects of it.  Unfortunately game-play wasn't one of them.  The matches took place on small featureless maps and were generally over within a few seconds of the two sides coming in to contact with each other.  The biggest issue that game has was trying to compare to Mechwarrior 4 in terms of gameplay.

Sorry never got to play it myself, so really I was just looking thru the wishful thinking glasses, just started playing MW4: merc's for the first time a couple of days ago, I was a big fan of MW3, but was one of those who wouldn't play MW4 becuase it took away our weapons placement choices, for were we can put what weapons we like in our mech's, silly I know, but least now,( a fews years latter) I got something good mech-wise to play now, also getting MW4 and extra mech paks to really give it a good go agian.

It's a pity they don't try and re-vamp it and release it, with today's tech and programing abilites, Hmm.. where did I put those glasses again, it looked so good with them on.

Looking into this but a few questions...

You said the horse is a one time purchase? well I'm looking at the shire in the item mall and it a says "summon time 90 minutes" does that mean he can only be use for 90 minutes then we need to buy a new one?

And is a pet permanent?

Thanks

You get to use it for 90 minutes per day, this time also get longer, till I'm told you don't have to worry about it any more, it's your for as long as you want, you own it.

"the whole warcraft started as a tabletop game then into the warcraft game series for pc,"  WTF?

Don't think so.

Show us a link or something if I'm wrong, but I have never heard of a WoW tabletop game being available BEFORE the computer game was released and I have been following the tabletop wargame/rpg's since I was twelve, I would defenetly taken notice if there was one.

I've been playing Mechwarrior4: merc's demo all day, I've re-installed MW3, MW3-PM, MW4 demo and I've also installed them on my 2nd PC, then I went on eBay looking for the full versions MW4-V&BK aswell as MW4:Merc's, I coundn't help it, I've held out for so long, I'm gonna overdose myself on the old versions, till the Crysis MW5:LL comes out or Force of Arms open's.

DEATH FROM ABOVE!

@hidden1, that's an even better link, cheers! -seen this one? http://www.mechwarrior3.org/wordpress/?page_id=2

@salvatoris, Instantaction.com is a great site, I also luv the WW1 dogfight game they got and Fallen legion just rock's, there are some very cool games on that site. Link for anyone who wants to see; http://www.instantaction.com/#

There was a Mechwarrior 4 compliation released a few years ago by Atari.  I bought a bunch of copies when it was 20 bucks, but I don't have any of them left laying around.  You can probably still find copies of it on ebay.  Since Microsoft and Mythic stopped work on the game, Mektek has added a ton of content.  There MechPaks are pretty much required for online play... They added like 50 new mechs, including the lost mechs that FASA can't show any more. They also added power armor and infantry, and a ton of new weapons and equipment to the game.  they are also working on a couple of different stand-alone mech games.  Check them out @ www.mektek.net

I have a Mechwarrior team that i founded in 2000. We have a relatively small group still playing Mech, but we are still a close team ane we get togeether for a week of LAN gaming every summer. We were pretty big in our heyday, winning first place in the BattleZone league for 13 straight months starting the month Mech4 released.  If anyone is looking for someone to play Mech4 with, or if you have any questions about the game, check us out.  I haven't been playing for a long time time, but we do still have some active guys and we keep a server running.  www.DeathDealerMercenaries.com

Hopefully I will be able to buy the MW4-V&BK games next week, Mektek.net looks great, thank's for the info & link's, you can find me on Lore aftermath on instantaction.com, or in the Ace of Ace's game,( just got my Fokker Dr1 tri-plane), cheers again Salvatoris.
