First time I played UO.

What crazy server are you guys rolling on? On the servers I play on there are plenty of people to fight in all Tiers!

WAR is a good game nowdays. I'm having a break from it right now I'm waiting for my 14 free days to be added to my account after 90-days then I'll probably be back again.

I played Rift for about two months but the pvp didn't meet the standard of DAoC and WAR.

Everyone who ever had an active account get 14 free play added to their DAoC/WAR accouns... just try it again!

If they had given the skaven to Destruktion then Order would have got what? "Woodelfs"? Skaven are to popular to just be playable by one side imho.

GW2 is PvP game, that's not for everyone...WoWis big for it's PvE.

The game performance has improved a lot since launch, where the server would crash with 100 people in a zone it now can hold more than 400-500 before becoming unstable, come to think of it I haven't seen a server crash in a long time.

I've seen huge lagg though...but no crashes.

You have to understand that the most popular WAR-servers now are really crowded, and that's why they lagg like hell.

Particularly Badlands that has problem with backups due to the many EU-players that play there during the time when it was meant for the server to backup, making the backups taking longer time and run to long so that they continue when the US-people returns to the game

EU-Karak Norn and Karak Agzal are both very high pop.

The problem with two factions is not a lore-problem it's a player-problem, having only two factions makes the population of ither realm a problem.

If one of the factions has to many members the "smaller" faction will get a higher rate of people quitting the game becouse they get owned, and then the problem will getting worse.

The third stage is that the players of the high-pop realm starts quitting becouse they have to few people to fight.

Lets hope not for GW2 sake, it's been proved over and over again that HUGE launches are pretty bad for everyone. Server Ques and bad stability ect... and a few weeks later empty servers.

a Gradual increase of players is more favorable imho.
