If you're talking about Gala-Net, I would have to disagree to a certain extent. I have yet to be ignored by their support staff. I sent a lot of emails regarding Rappelz and my gPotato profile, and each one was answered within a day or two. |

Bah, too bad it's North America only. 7354 keys left. I got my HoN key at the same place. |

The way I see it, releasing a game of this quality as without-subs is either a motivation for the team, or a show of confidence that they can come up with new, sellable content (in the form of expansions and campaigns every few months, among others). |

Personal Guild Wars (Factions, Nightfall, and EotN Expansions Included) Review
Lion's Arch (General) « Guild Wars 8/27/09 2:01:49 AM
I had always hoped for something similar to the addition of Sorrow's Furnace, at least one each for the other campaigns. So yeah, I agree with you on this. |

Yeah, much of the updates is geared towards existing players now, it seems. Keeping their playerbase is more important than pulling in new ones for ArenaNet, especially now that no expansions/campaigns are planned for release, and with GW2 somewhere in the horizon. |

Interesting new changes coming to Dungeon Runners (long post)
General Discussion « Dungeon Runners 4/07/09 2:54:18 AM
The DR devs have done a great job of evolving the game (within the constraints of a casual MMO), IMO. I've been on-and-off DR since it launched, and I see myself spending more time with it recently, due to the changes in gameplay. I like what they have planned for the download system, which is something I loved with Guild Wars (no big patch downloads!). Not sure how the "play in browser" feature will work; I would at least like to log in and do some stash management. Of course the most appealing new feature (for me at least, but I'm sure most casual players who earn a bit of dough would feel the same) is the "cash shop". $5 a month is cheap, but there's still a level of commitment attached to it. Anyways, can't wait for the next chunk! |

New to Guild Wars? Considering playing it? Start here!

Players who have experienced GW can keep telling you in different ways how it's different from WoW, but while there is that urge to compare it to WoW, non-GW players won't quite get it. You'll have to actually start playing to see the difference. |

IMO scaling alone wouldn't calm the rabid fans that QQ everytime their favorite skill gets nerfed. Skill balancing would be much more flexible if it included the ability for devs to change the way the skill works between PvE and PvP. This is not to say that all skills targeted for balancing will have different mechanics for each playstyle; it's just a foot in the door. Though, I agree that having 2 sides of a skill to track can be cumbersome. We'll have to see what happens once the skill changes are implemented. |

I just recently got hooked on AB myself, as a result of getting lazy working for my carto title. Nice way of unlocking skills for heroes, as well (via Balthazar faction points). |

Thank you ArenaNet for finally creating end-game weapons for Prophecies! They all look badass! Happy birthday, Guild Wars! |

RF is published here in the Philippines, so I understand that part of the IP block, but Archlord too? Perhaps a SEA region version is in the works? |

Sounds useful to me, or at least I'd like to see it in action. :) |

Seems like Dungeon Runners to me: cartoony graphics, instanced dungeons, limited camera movement... is it? |

Guild Wars mainly, with a little Dungeon Runners every now and then. Been meaning to try out either Sword of the New World or Perfect World, though. |

By "floating", do you mean hovering/flying above the ground? Or just moving around following their owners? In any case: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Miniature |
