I wanted to say, EQ2 BGs are made better than WoWs BGs concerning tanks. They can do, what they can do best: tanking. Get aggro of enemies, to prevent the healers from dying. And they can taunt healers, so that they cant target people with low health. Good job there :)
Edit: But I'd love to have a AV style BG in EQ2. |

WTF, what a wow hater list. Since everyone knows, wow was the very first MMO! I played M59 long, I loved Ko'catan :)

Yes, sitting in a city and waiting for a dungeon port is not really to be called a MMO anymore. Its like a 3D-waitingroom. |

Define Hardcore MMORPG for me please.
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 3/27/10 6:15:31 AM
Failure = Penalty Dying in a dungeon and just running back where you were = non-hardcore Dying in a dungeon and lose stats, equipment and/or exp = hardcore I dont need really hard penalties. But with penalties, every success has more value (IMHO).
Harcore = No life isnt true, since wow is for no-lifers, but not hardcore at all |

I played until some weeks after 1st expansion. EQ2 was the better choice for my gamingstyle. |

dsadasOriginally posted by Dimensional Obviously a wow troll, since wow has almost only kill-this-kill-that-quests I maxed in most MMOs I played, but always just 1 character, which I invest all my time into. I never twink. |

Any WoW fans enjoying AoC also? Is the world really have instanced Zones?

Dungeons in WoW are instanced, but the world is open, with the exception of expansion content that needed a loading screen as a barrier of entry to those who haven't purchased the expansions. Not hating on AoC, but I really hate this old strawman. Now, if you alter the last word of your sentence and add another at the end to make it read "...no one that plays WoW should mind any instanced dungeons.", it'd be a different matter.
But since 90% of wow plays in dungeons or battlegrounds or arenas, 90% is instanced ;) |

Are there any other MMORPG other than WoW, where the fanbase isnt majority WoW haters?

What will combat be like? Please not like WoW I beg you!

SWTor with wow combat would be: jump - lightsaber swing - jump - lightsaber swing - jump - lasershot - jump - jump - use the force - jump ... |

The instancing isnt the best solution, yes, but the combat rocks. IMO the best combat system of all MMOs yet. |

Yes, the SF quests are totally crap. SoE finally gave up on telling stories. Too bad, since I loved the DoF expansion's stories. But I can understand them a little bit, why wasting time for thinking about stories, if almost no one reads them. Questreaders are under 1% of the players (IMO). I hope, the two signatures (Dartain & Lucan) will have some nice story line. |

I think guild halls in EQ2 (like they are atm) were a fault. Every city is empty, because in your own gh you can access NPCs way faster or travel faster. And ghs + the dungeon port feature of wow = lifeless world. |

I only played Lotro of those, but I liked it very much. So I voted for it :) |

The game is so easy, you just need 1 hand. The other hand needs something to do, so many players keep pressing the space bar. |
