Witcher 1&2 are great, but they're pretty railroaded.

Tanking is the most difficult thing in groups / on raids, then healing comes, then DPS. As a DD you just have to take a target and handle your dmg rota. As a tank you have to hold aggro, you have to chase bolters and you have to know every pat, dungeon and boss.

There are multiple puzzles in Rift. They're not that hard, but still people just look in the internet for the solutions. Puzzles dont work how they're intended.

That's why so many people complain about endgame.  People are capping out faster than in any MMO I've ever played, and then there's nothing there waiting.  Just some stuff to do for gear, but what's the point, if you're done leveling?

 

Obviously, they can't slow down leveling now, but I think they really need some sort of longterm advancement system.  Some sort of motivation to do the shiny new content, otherwise, it just feels like they're wasting their time.  I know, some people are fine running instances when they have nothing to strive for other than loot, but I know I"m not the only one who needs something more than that.

 

For me, RPGs are too much about the rewards, and I just can't be interested in any new anything they add, if it isn't going to be rewarding.

Having 3 50s yet is very hardcore, it doesnt matter how you try to explain it.

With the stupid LFG tool incoming, soon the game'll have full towns and ghost worlds :P

Even if it's confirmed to be one server only and not multi-server? I can see how the cross -server tool has broken the server communities in WoW, but since this is a server only tool, how does it make it any different than joining a random group formed via advertising in the general channel?

I wouldnt pay 10 cent for playing wow, but I'm fine with the EQ2 fee. So your point isnt valid.

The Wow-style auction house in Rift is a desaster. Please please Trion, revamp it and copy the EQ2 system, it is so much better. Sellings don't run out, a potential buyer can buy the amount he wants, not just the whole stack, etc. Oh this stupid wow system makes me angry, and I have so much too sell! :(
