Its really funny to see, how Wow-Fanboys defend the move by blizz to add a item store. The same people judged about SoE having done the same some time ago. Wowers are really brainwashed by the blizz marketing machine...

And the milk flows like water, have fun wowers! lol

What is the point of this topic, to find out which is the second most hated MMO after wow?

15.99 pound sterling = 26.35 USD 60 day card

Hey, biggest part of Europe is using € as currency *mumble mumble* :)

I also dont like men playing women to look at a girl's butt while playing, this sort of play style dont belong to a game, maybe to Playboy Online..

I am quite sure that will not happen, because players are ... players.

And we are talking video games here.

Of course you can always blame the players. A traditional tric when something doesn't happen in a game.

If WoW was so good and you were happy playing WoW and you are deeply in love with WoW and you could make babies with WoW, it begs the question why are you posting on the Aion forums so much? ;)))

Because I simply point out that massive PvP Zerg fests is NOT the way to do a PvP based game these days.

Today's standards are the many different ... options of playing styles.

Alot people prefer to dress up in women's clothes, go out on town and have an angry mob with pitchforks chase us down the street because our disguise failed. I am one of them.

We knew that all along supbro

Ignore Zorn, wow would've Open PvP, if the server could handle it. But because of the cheap servers, blizz has to put everything in instances (see recent changes)

AO for #1! Go away with AoC, I want AO2 :))

I like the AoC combat style, the old button smashing (EQ, wow) is a back number.

Im male and prefer to play male characters. This "I want to look at a girls butt while playing" is a really sexist point.

wow-style quests (like those in Aion) are not for telling lore, they're for hiding the grind. Instead of grinding 50 of the same enemy, the quest tells you to kill 10 of enemy A and 10 of enemy B, for the next quest you need 20 of enemy C and for the third quest you've to collect some items (from 10 enemies of category D). At all you also killed 50 enemies, but the quest system hided it. Thats it =)

As the wow part of my general online guild split into two parts (a loot greedy part and the rest), I decided, I didnt want to be part of a game any longer, where items mean everything..

Aion has now 42 Korean servers for .... 400 K Korean players (they only added one server during the whole of 2009).

They had in May 113 servers to serve ... 1 M Chinese players.

That's an average of 10K players per server.

The 12 US and 12 EU servers are targetted to host a maximum of around max capacity 300K servers at launch. See the proper Aion website.

Today Aion has around 1/3 less players then the newly launched (and free to play) Dungeons1Dragons onlne.

http://www.xfire.com/genre/mmo/massively_multiplayer_online/

See for yourselves.

Also the present day server parc in the Korea/China of Aion is 154 Chinese and 42 Korean. Meaning a max of 1.9 M players ....

Both AoC and WAR each had 500 K players in open Beta 3 days before launch. Almost double that of Aion.

Hey zorndorf, been a long time.

indeed, lol, was the other account banned or just trying to stealth around?

Maybe too many have him on ignore. He wants to bring his knowledge to everyone! Enlighten us!

Pretty = girly ?

A new standard?

Most companies dont have the money to run thousands of beta tests to fix all bugs, dont blame them for that.

Of course Zorndorf will be in here soon a post like:

So your judging the entire game just for the newbie levels?

You should wait till you reach endgame, thats when the world opens up and the fun begins.

You can do heroics, or raid, or arena, or raid, or arena.

Xfire stats show most people play wow so millions of people cant be wrong         :)))))))))))))

Great *gg* But you forgot to color some sentences

"Unlike anything that has ever been done before", that has to be a joke. Since the beginning of time all Blizzard did was copying other games, so its very unlikely to see something new ;)

Blizzard for milking their players. Other companies are okay (even Smedly Online Entertainment *g*)

But with no EQ3 coming out and this Agency thing, Im actually not very interested in future SOE products (except EQ2 Addons *g*)

No, all cool kids like wow, because its the game played most, so its cool to play it too )

I prefer instanced housing. An own house for everyone + twinks leads to a huge waste of place.

Honestly, do people still have problems with ninjas?   I do a ton of pugs, and I can't remember the last time I had a true ninja.  The worst I've encountered was someone who rolled 'need' on an off-spec item while there was someoen else who needed it for their main spec.  But that is a questionable 'ninja'.

In my opinion, this announcment has a lot of upside, and not a lot of downside.  I really don't think there will be more ninjas, first because I dont' think it happens anyway (most people are there for badges or dailies) and secondly, because being a ninja is a personality thing.  I don't think people are goin to become ninjas simply because they are doing it to people on a different server.

Its the same as ever.  WOW adds something good, and non-wow players bash it :)

Im sorry for that. When I played wow (just vanilla), I had a ninja almost in every second group. Its fine if that changed, but cant really believe the game turned around 180°.
