More like WOW 0.5 actually. No Bgs, No Arena's, No open seamless worlds, inivisible walls everywhere, no PERSONAL flying mounts, no pets, no mini games in quests, no serious RAid content with at least reactive bosses, no world to speak of.

Let's  see; .... WOW 3.2. If I come to think of it, it is more like WOW 0.1 in early Beta if you look at it FEATURE by FEATURE.

I only played one day of beta until level five and then I didn't bother for the rest of the beta...

I can't stand mmos with the same wow'ish starter areas where you run exactly the same missions; fedex and kill x mobs.. blah..

And the avatars and armours are just not my cup of tea...

Read this preview, but there was absolutely nothing appealing to it.

So you can't customize your character much but have to earn it? Wait - that means you plan parts of it without knowing the other parts? That's gonna be hard..

Also there wasn't much else to it and from what I have seen so far it looks pretty poor and boring. The graphics are bland. The combat system is same old, same ol'.

I havnt looked up who this guy is that is doing TSW? You guys list some games hes done? I am assuming, I havnt heard of or played any of them. I am assuming they are not MMO's. Does this guy have any MMO experience? If not well its already looking bad, because an MMO is a whole different beast.

Why should new people who never played the game be attracted by new classes or higher levels if they still need to do 12 classes and 80 levels??

And there is plenty of content for old players in this expansion.

I think it is a brilliant move by Funcom not to increase level cap.

If anything I miss more improvements to pvp mechanics and player housing. But the first is being worked on for sure..

I always believed three factions were better than two.

this issue asside, are you able to say whether these will be three competing factions or will it be like AoC where factions can work together, guild up, etc.?

The only hard facts are that the factions are competing in the Hollow Earth for ressources. It has been stated it is not decided if there is cross-faction grouping above ground. It seems they are slanted against it.
