I played Eve online. It looks good, and i guess its fun to play but it just isnt game for me. Maybe if you could see ship from inside cockpit and when you could fly ship with WASD or mouse. Other thing was that...ok WOW is worth 15€ a month, but im sorry, Eve isnt.
AO i played allso, but that allso didnt work out for me. Except really oldish graphics what i dont really care about much i didnt like that kind of gameplay. You just stand in front of other player and click and hope your gun does more damage than gun other guy have.

Bouth games are good, dont get me wrong. But TR is new and fresh. Nice new GFX, nice story and potential to become great adventure game (when you look whos making it).

I guess alot of new players came with TBC. From my old guild of 60 people im 100% about 40 of them left game with TBC release. But whoever i meet in game today started before 5-6 months. All i knew on my old friend list are gone and stoped playing.

I guess there is enough fresh blood to pick up new accounts when Blizz release new stuff.

Bouth games are good, wow had breaktrough and maybe blizzard learned on EQ mistakes so they could release better game. If you take all best things from all games listed on this forum and make game im sure you would have 9mil players too.

1 - ye wow works on everything
2 - you will need TBC before WOTLK (how will you level from 60-70??)
3 - you wont be able to play with them untill you hit lvl 58 anyway...so they have to go to Azeroth or you can chat with them. Allso its true that you cant play new clases and use new proffesion, but my suggestion is that you start with mining/skining as first proffesions cause they are very profitable.

Tabula Rasa have good story, and its unique cause its hard to find good SF mmorpg that is not 10 years old :p (no offence Eve and Anarchy players)

Anyway...at end we will see what will they make of it. I think they can get solid player base if they just open their ears and listen a bit...all they actualy need to do is get best games we play ATM, take best things from them and implement into Tabula Rasa (like Blizz did with WoW).

9 milion subscribes is not same as 9 mil characters...i have one account and i have few characters...i dont think blizzard told they have 9 milion characters...they have 9 milion players, copyes of game sold, accounts.......afaik

Ye, its tons and tons of details...How character move, walk, sit, ride, shot, dance, eat...how surroundings react on him...when you enter ironforge its not copy/paste of same characters (alltho character customisation is crap).

All land look different, crap graphics but uber design...

That was problem when i entered every other game including LOTRO...first thing i notice (and it makes me sick from start) is bad character movement...maybe its because all WoW is cartoony...so cartoony character esay blend with cartoony background and suroundings...but in every other game where devs want to show "realism" it ends up strange and un natural...like Anarchy online...character movement there is like Michael Jackson moonwalking all the time...

And i know its not important but i cant or i have trouble connect with those games...i

WoW isnt dead...jet...and question is when it will die...but as old ppl say "what goes up, it must go down"...i guess its question of gravity :p... end of some games are near, some lasted long, some short...i will watch it goes down playing some other game thinking...mmm we told ya...ye we did....

My good friend asked me once do i know what is better than best girl in world......new girl :p (je its macho bullcrap, he was drunk) but point is that only better thing than best will be something new ^^

We are all chasing that first feeling of something new...mmmm...thats why we think of "our" games that are best...cause we played that first...or you have trolls who played all, had that "first time" rush lasted 1 day then changed game...no game is good for them...

I didnt play for 3 months...because of work and lack of interest in wow...i played some other games. Then i loged back on during vacation cause i really didnt want (didnt have will) to start anything new, mostly cause i didnt find it fun. Now after one month im bored again...in one month i got 4 pcs of veteran set, 5000g epix flying mount + 5000g extra with mixing potions n stuff + 375 in fishing :p

And now...i dont know :)

What was graphics on my old ZX Spectrum, playing those old Robin Hood adventures :), and i was 10 years old kid from croatia, and i didnt know english....playing text based adventure was pain...

well i guess blizz was smart enough to learn on others mistakes, so thats why they released wow polished (more or less)

Well, as i said before you cant really talk about who likes what...i dont care much what people write here about wow cause they got disapointed in some way. Was it before they couldnt get "into" game, or they want some other aspect of game (PvP).

WoW become popular because it came in right moment and it was available to all. It is game for kids who are 10years old to oldies who are 60 years old. It is "cartoony" and "romantic" game where you choose to paly cute warrior girl who will fight fire elemental with other 39 people arround her. From very moment you started to play you got big map to discover, tons of quests, tons of diferent mobs, tons of diferent armor etc etc.

Game maybe have poor graphic, but its designed too good, and that uber design shades bad graphics. and not only that, because of "cartoony" graphics and really good engine/code you can play wow on every machine. I was playing it on my thinkpad T3x something with 1.8 proc, and 128 mb ram and 16mb GFX card Ati 7100 (if i remember right). What other game can you play on this machine?!? none i think.

Realism and fact is that none of incoming games will hurt WoW, no mather how much bad reviews do you trolls post, no mather how much you flame on this forum about how crappy game is. Im sorry but Warhammer wont do it, Conan wont do it...Tabula Rasa wont do it. For some time wow will have constant of 8 mil accounts, if not more (new players, new content etc). If any of those named games get playerbase of 1 milion they can be happy, but i really really doubt it.

WOW WILL STAY ON FIRST PLACE FOR LONG LONG LONG TIME, I KNOW YOU DONT LIKE IT...AND YOU CANT DO NOTHING ABOUT IT :) (except to whine here on this forum...or if you go and buy Conan or Warhammer for everyone you know...hehehe)

No mather what who say if TR dont get "PvP" tag all this forum trolls will flame it as crap of game cause it only have PvE. Its very hard to make ppl happy, you make game if its not PvP its junk. You make PvP game if you dont loose something when you die its junk. You make PvP game and when you die you loose XP, that isnt enough. You make PVP game, you loose XP when you die and player who killed you can even loot you, then its too realistic, its crap, you loose your hard to get epix...so..its loose loose situation really (for forum trolls)

i doubt much ppl would play Bane...maybe only few hard core pvpers...but then they would whine about how disbalanced game is :p

If its going to be PvE i hope to see some epic battles like in WoW. And by epic battle i mean 100 players against invaders fighting for every square inch of battlefield....
