I do use the macro system to help me. I am one to admit that I can not click fast enough and get overwhelmed at times that I do need assistance.

I have resubbed and been playing for a little while. Now I still think they need to work on the engine. Its far from perfect. Having a mob glide to you because the running animation is broken tells me they still have issues. But pvp wise the game is still fun to me and thats why they get my $14.99. Next month will get it? We will see.

Warhammer has a Fan Base. Should actually see all the Twinks in T1. Its amazing how many people actually enjoy the pvp in War. I know I do. I was able to get a 14 day trial on my old account some how and I have been enjoying it. I was really worried about T2. But sure enough once I zoned in there were tones of people taking the keeps. We will see how the week progresses. I want to see if it is like this during the weekend.

But trying to stay on topic I am glad they are adding weapons you can get through tokens. They should of added this in the beginning but I am glad they are still working on the game. I think  they need to do something major to bring the game back from the slumber. I know alot of ppl have been subing because of the endless trial. But how long with that keep people. Until then WAAAAGGHH

Well I was trying to get my friends to play but once I found this out we are just going to move on.  Oh well, there is tons of MMOs out there. I wil just stay away from Gpotatoe games. Shame....

Yes, the Darkfall world has absolutely NO SOUNDS. The game is total silence apart from the action sounds (players/mobs).

- you stand near waterfalls:   NO sound
- it rains: NO sound
- in the cities: NO sound
- in the wilderness: NO sound
- daytime: NO sound of birds, wind, nothing
- nighttime: NO sound of crickets or any other night sounds, nothing.

The world is completely silent, the game has been out for 1 year and the dev team is spending their time on implementing such a useless feature as a couple hours new player immunity.

That's sad because the world itself is very nicely crafted, its just sad the they throw the immersion out of the window with the absence of sounds.

Geez, and yes I am a new player, started to play last week and really don't give a F about this, especially when the most basic sounds are still missing ingame.
 

Yeah it hurts immersion a bit but it is hardly game breaking. I would laugh it off if somebody quit because of that reason.

If a game doesn't have sound...yea that is game breaking. Why play a game when it doesn't even have sound. That just means the game is not done. Laugh all you want but imo that is a deal breaker right there.
 

First off to fix the whole Recon and CTF they made it capture the mech. Where you have to jump into a mech and take it to the other side. So it doesn't matter what class you are, everyone is the same when they jump into the mech.

Secondly, anyone else think the game is slowly getting dry?  My assault is lvl 22 and the matches are fun but AvA is the samething as random matches. I am hoping I am missing something here. Its a great game but I don't feel like I should pay a sub to do the same stuff over and over.

You guys make the game sound oh so fun :/

At a base, that's all Tribes was. Pretty much everything great and awesome about Tribes came from Renegades and the gargantuan stack of modifications, customization, and enjoyment they stacked on top of the at the time innovative combat style of flight and hill hopping.

 

Between it and Planetside, I'd still opt for Planetside. Nothing has beaten that game on the battlefield and strategy front yet for me.

 

I'm not sure if you played the original tribes or not, but tribes definitely wasn't all about the bullshit bunny hopping and head-shotting. It was about tactical aerial combat, moving in to attack with your squad, and fights that weren't over in the blink of an eye - with emphasis on defensive play and siege-assault-style attacks.

On that note, if you've played Planetside, I would say that the combat is very similar to planetside's combat, only with the addition of flight, melee, and higher survability. In short, like if Planetside and Tribes were to have a baby.

Also, I agree with other posters that it'd be nice to have more "MMO content" for the game - however, I'll reaffirm that I don't feel like the game is an unfinished product. It's fun right out of the box, it stays fun, and aside from that, you can run PVP matches and PVE matches forever without ever paying the monthly fee - the only thing that the monthly fee unlocks, as far as I know, is the whole Alliance vs Alliance bit.

True story. Can't really bunny hop in a bunker. That game was great. Only if GA had big maps like that and offered more boost in the jet pack like tribes.

Dont get me wrong, I can understand why youd have to pay a sub for it, but there needs to be a lot more on offer to make it good value. I am the same way. I love playing the game. Kicking butt and taking names but they need to add more to the RP part of it before I will pay monthly. This still have time to add more stuff. They just need a steady core fanbase. I will still play this because TF2 is getting old for me but I would like to see more RP. I wish they had a better loot system.

Glad to see they have different armor sets. I was looking for some pictures like this. I have not pre ordered the game yet I am waiting for the game to actually come out first. But the game looks hella fun.
