Sad thing is I remember having so much fun the last time I played Puzzle Pirates...

PotBS had so much potential but everyone knows what happens when SOE touches a game other than the EQ series.  

Pirates of the Caribbean Online?  Hmmmm.  Might be worth trying lol, I think it's free anyway.

Speaking of Darkfall, thats a good idea!  I can make a little dingy and name it the USS Salvage and raid people's towns, grab their stuff, then sail back to well.  Wherever I came from haha.

Yea... shoot me some suggestions.  But I'm pretty sure PotBS is pretty much dead.

the inexplainable urge to play this again.  I don't know why lol, I haven't touched this game since launch and was really wondering how it is since then?  I remember the main reason I left was because I grinded up a lvl 40 during beta and then when they wiped it for release I just didn't have the will to repeat everything again.  Is the combat system any better (faster, different skills, schtuff like that)?  How about crafting since the betaish times?  How did the game improve overall?  More players?  Less players?  Basic questions like that.

Well I just cancelled my preorder for a multitude of reasons so here it goes:

First off I have been in the closed beta for quite some time now and from the time I played it I really couldn't get hooked.  I don't know what it is but I guess my type of game switched from fantasy to sci-fi since I have the urge to play SWG again for some very odd reason.

Now I'm a pretty big crafter in MMO's and this game just doesn't suit that need for me.  I know there needs to be balance between loot and crafted works but totally taking out weapon crafting and armor crafting just put a damper on the whole thing for me.  By no means am I QQing but just stating the fact that I like to craft more then potions and add-ons for sockets in weapons/armor.  (No, planting is not considered crafting for me.)

The two classes that I was planning on playing just really aren't doing it for me now.  I originally wanted to play the Chosen bu theres just something about it that is a turn off for me (I seriously can't find what I don't like about him.)  The Magus on the other hand is really the short end of the stick when it comes to ranged DPS, so that is also a bummer for me.  I also wanted to play the blackguard but we can all see that happening soon can't we?

I'll post more tomorrow so eh, don't flame too much.

Greymann to be honest with you, if you want an open open beta then you need to look at another genre because MMO's just aren't doing them anymore.  Quit your QQ'ing and find another game to troll just because you didn't get to play the game.  What is the point of your posts to begin with?  They made a release date and your bitching about it?  Seriously, find reason in your post and then come back, also whining about the open beta is pointless when your obviously not interested in the game.

Well I recently looked at getting a new computer since in order to upgrade this one I would need a major overhaul of the whole thing.  I looked at iBUYPOWER.com and liked what I saw, I scanned the internet for how they are and the recent opinions have been pretty good.  Www.resellerratings.com has a pretty good rating for them and apparently the customer service is excellent.  I was wondering if any of you have purchased from them before and what your opinions are about them.

Well no more Call of Duty is coming from Activision since they already gave up the rights to the game, I wonder what their award winning franchise will be now... considering they butchered CoD4 by not adding little bits and pieces that people have been asking for.

WoW is a fantasy game, so unrealistic dosent really fit in here. For the graphic and art style, we've been thru it thousand of times.... let it rest.......

To be honest I could care less what Blizzard does nowadays and the only quality game they are creating right now that I would want to get is D3.  Even then they are screwing it over with WoW like graphics and having it influenced with horrible art styles like unrealistically large swords and crap like that.

Anyway.  Is this for ingame or something else?  I didn't feel like hunting the website to find out details.
