Woot! I think. Well, I guess we'll see :-D. I'm glad they're thinking about being progressive. Now if they had a free graphics upgrade they truly would be my friends. Still the best MMORPG made even without it. |

Moving on, EQ2 is indeed eye-candy and has more of a customized user-interface, making it a gamer's game. Perhaps even a powergamer's game...and one thing I've learned in my years of MMO playing is to not listen to a powergamer unless you have the money to spend on the latest-greatest computer that can handle the latest-greatest memory/video/processor just to hop to the next game that hits the market. If you're average Joe/Jane, WoW is a mainstay because it is so user-friendly, has depth of quality, very low error rate and Customer Service that treats you like a human being. |

This was well said. There are many more reason why WoW is huge. It always gives me a chuckle to hear all the haters on this site bash the game because it proves no matter how much 'leet gamers' whine and cry To add to the nice list here, it's easy to learn and gets more complex as you go. The interface is user friendly. GM's respond right away and actually help (unlike EQ). Mods are a way to get players personally involved in development and very helpful. No zoning. Patches typically are beneficial, not detrimental. They recognize that not everyone wants to worship made up gods. Guild tabard is a cool idea and very customizable. Guild rosters make sense. Raids are manageable. Tradeskills are interesting instead of a boring grind. It's easy to find merchants/auctionhouse that you need. PvP is better than EQ1, EQ2, GuildWars, etc. The list goes on, but I'm sure each of us 9 million players have something to add. |

Adreal is right and well put. Very thought provoking questions asked too. To be considered a believer/Christian, you'd have to believe Jesus was the son of God else the Bible is meaningless: "The beginning of the gospel about Jesus Christ, the Son of God." - Mark 1:1 "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name." - John 20:31 "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." - John 3:18 There's much more of course, but hope this helps.

Looks like gpett got the main reason. To poor customer service and money-machining, I'll add: 1.) Not updating graphics 2. ) Not making the game compliant with most computer hardware 3.) Not updating user interface 4.) Not having quest information available in the game. (have to go online to look it up) 5.) In-game economic inflation 6.) Not promoting or enforcing roleplay 7.) Not creating useful crafting/tradeskill items I still play Everquest 1 because I have some friends who are too stubborn to move on to World of Warcraft...but I wish they would. Hope this helps |
