Let me be clear then .....RMT in games based around FTP is just fine...You know what you signed up for.... RMT in a sub game...Is nothing more then double Dipping from my wallet...I paid once..Did my money pay for someones time to make a item i can not get without paying more money?....Hmmmm something smells funny there |

Simply put the NGE was a huge mistake brought on by ...Wait for it ....GREED!.....OMG Blizzard is maikng more money then us how can that be we are SOE we rule the MMO market we'll show them....hurry change the game so it matches WOW so we can get thier customers ...after all this is Star wars we should be able to conqueor them!...As i say to obama supporters ...How's that working out for you? They may have made improvement to the game but does that mean i should trust them again...no i dont think so...i trusted them and they betrayed me in the worst possible way for a game company...we dont need you will just get some one else... And there are enough people found that watever the phone/cable companies are doing are acceptable. It is boils down to whether you are willing to live with no cable & no phone, in exchange for not paying whatever they are asking for. Since it works for the phone/cable companies, i would assume there aren't enough people like you.
and yet thoose people if you ask them for most part will complain about thier phone bill being too expensive...or hidden charges on thier cell phone bill ....but cable is a huge service compared to the much smaller world of MMO's ohh and btw i pay a flat rate for internet and phone and gues what it inculeds all the services and event the ability to call anywhere...for wait for it ...... one flat fee per month...ohh my how strange that i neglected the part where they over charge you like mad for ok service and then charge you more for the better stuff....sorta seems teh same i think anyway ...well i can see you just pounding in to try and tell me im wrong ...ok that fine perhaps i am and it will all be milk and cookies...but when you start to see the games being driven all to this model it really start to make me think this indusrty is loosing it integerity ...tell me why did WoW of all games have to do this? ...they cetainly cant be in finacial trouble ...11 million accounts was last yell number i heard yell whats {(11 million x 14.99)x12)x5) + (11 million x 39.99)} + expansion equel..and surely they didnt think this would be seen with universal love...as i have state before the 800lbs gorilla is in the room with his brother the elephant and both have huge grins on thier faces...wondering ohhh my what can we get away with next? ...im sorry if my concern over this trend offends you in some way....but as a gamer who has been around since PONG....i think this is not a good trend for us the gamer...its a slippery slope we are sliding down...its a matter of time till it get's bad...0-max level for 50$...or perhaps...here a pet healer only 25$....ohh wait please dont go i havent shown you the now mount only 12$...and did i mention that this raid cast 5$....is this the future of MMo's you really want?

the point is there should not be a above and beyond....if WoW or any other subscrption based game wanted RMT they should go free to play offer thier game for free DLand open up a item mall and btw you can have all the useless accounts cluttering up your server and lag and utter nonsense that goes with a completely openmarket they want thier cake and eat it too so to speak too ...if you are subscrption based that means you press out content for the pepople who are paying...not grab them for money twice.... |

to be straight up hoinest as i stated before i dont even play WoW ATM....and nope im not a pet collector however...i see the gorilla standing there thinking ....Hmmmmthat worked pretty well what can i do next?....i have survied to many MMo disasters to not a a skepticial view of the companies that run them (not the people who make them)..they are turning more and more preadtory with each RMt addition...simply stated if you want your game to be RMT then be RMT go for downlaod and item mall thats fine b/c...i started with my eye open to the fact that i will have to spend money to get what i want...Flip side is if i pay a subscrption i should have the cahnce to view all the content in the game threw game mechanic's not further charges.
Now on a side note the charity part of the WoW money grab is good thing ...however if they were gonna use this to sugarcoat it they could have done alot better by giving all the proceeds to charity and not setting them selves up for this by making only 1 pet 50% donation...this screams scam to me big time!... |

is your gameplay excataly the same ...in every detail in ability to gain "content" the same...now please rmember that content is nothing more then written code...only differance is time spent writing it ,doesn't matter if it a pet or a dungeon its all content and roping it off depended on your wallet is ..well just wrong ..im sorry i grew up in the days where when i got a game ..i got the whole game...this velevt rope approach is wrong ..its wrong no matter how i slice it, i just can't sem to find the way this is fair in the video game world to us the customer...and i know someone gonna say "Life isn't Fair" but you know MMO's used to be fair...whay cant they still be |

lol No, again with the analogies. You state that the pics have changed since you first subscribed 2 yrs ago. I agree it isn't the same playboy, but again you have no ground to compare that to RMT's as you changed the original subcription in your premise, which mmo has changed its initial content, items etc to substantiate the comparison?
any that have added a cash shop of any type to thier game that is already a subscrption model has change game play for the entire game ...yes even if its just fluff ...tell why couldnt they add a quest to game for that fluff insted of charging a already paying customer more for what amounts to a small time investment for them either way ?
