I can't help but laugh at priveleged people acting like their good fortune is an argument against programs to help people less fortunate. Take away all your money, your job, and your house, and tell me what you would do. Cocky conservative assholes always think they are so much more skilled at life than everyone else, and by some skewed logic any person on a downer is lazy.

Let me ask you this, have you even thought about what would happen if we remove things like welfare and medicare? Are you stupid enough to think that everyone will suddenly go get jobs? Programs like welfare keep people alive. If you take away welfare programs those people will just resort to robbing stores and burglarzing houses... causing a crime epidemic and guess what, the cost to jail those people will be WAY more than to just pay them welfare. Medicare? If you don't have money, you don't have money. Your argument for everything is "work harder, the potential is there," but if you're 80 years old and can't afford medication, you just die in the street.

Conservatives like to cry about people getting things for free, but they never offer better solutions. They answered the same question years ago. They think it will make the game less immersive. Its the same reason they didn't add over-the-head names or damage numbers. When you play the game, you only see the world. No text, no crap. By adding chat bubbles they are going against their original desire to keep the world immersive.

I personally want the bubbles, but I understand the counter argument.

Darkfall, in my experience, represents polar opposites when it comes to people like no other game. I've met both the most helpful and the biggest asshats in this game. But yeah, there are some HUGE asshats. I think its balanced by the quality people that don't standout like the screaming monkeys do.

Just because rehashed products sell a lot doesnt mean innovation sucks, that's just ridiculous.

WoW is the top MMO, Backstreet Boys sold millions of albums, the Snuggie is a top selling consumer product... just because somethings are popular doesn't mean new ideas can't flourish. I especially think you see this with the WoW wannabes, everyone thought they could ripoff WoW and make tons of money.. many of them are bombing out because they arn't innovative.

Those graphics would be fine with me as long as theres outstanding gameplay.

But from that video alone it didn't seem like there was much to do in the game. People arn't going to pay for something like that when theres so many other games on the market with full dev teams.

Usless skills? There are many spells that suck compared to others, not a big deal.

Macro? As the above poster said, they increases magic skill gain by 6X. Its much faster than launch, you don't need to macro

Camping noob spawns? You are choosing the wrong spawns then, noob spawns are never camped by groups of greifers... thats total bullshit

The game looks like a 8 year old Unreal mod.

Darkfalls population is growing rapidly right now. Waiting and hoping MO won't be a bust is a bad idea... DF will still be on top.

95% of the reviews here are total crap (IE, by fanboys or people who play the game for 4 hours and think they can critique it). This one is good.

If you don't know what I mean, go to the frontpage and checkout the slide show. Currently there is an award page and a top 5 PvP game list, these are examples of the literature I'm refering to for this poll.

I'm curious what the general population thinks, because most of the threads associated with staff picks and such are filled with disagrement from the posters.

Credible sites are giving this award to Runes of Magic.

I half expected MMORPG to give the p2p award to Aion (lawl), but DDO over RoM? Really?

F2P are "free" because they are of lesser quality.

The posters here like to discuss the quality of games... its pretty simple.

The thing about EVE is that a good 70+% of the population stays in empire space completely.

Again, Darkfall is the only truely openworld pvp with no safe zones or zones.
