The SOE DC game looks really bad from the video I watched here.

DC are foolish for choosing SOE.

If you want a good comic game try City of Heros or better yet Champions Online when that releases.

Champions is going to blow the SOE DC game out of the water.

KOTOR WAS a class based themepark game. Also one of the best games made if you ask me.

Bioware has been a rock solid company so far. Let them actually show you what they got before you QQ all over the net.

Sandbox unreleased MMO's to watch for is Earthrise and Fallen Earth.

My problem with free Jedi in SWG is NOT the destruction of the time period as much as the fact they took YEARS of work people put into attaining Jedi and just flushed it down the toilet.

No consideration of their then player base. They totally knowingly shafted all the people who supported that game in it's original form. Many lies to the players. Many broken promises.

Do not underestimate the creative works of Bioware. I expect The Old Republic to be the first NEXT GEN MMO.

There are MANY "factions" in the Star Wars universe in all it's time periods. Not just good and evil.

I could give a rats ass about their forums. The game is a bug filled mess. Every patch has made things worse so far. It actually ran better the first week then it does now.

The ad campaign is my point of the crowd AOC is trying to pull in.

All the talk of being a mature game trying to make a game for adults is a total lie. Just another to stack on the many lies Failcom has already racked up.

Shame because AOC has a potentially fun combat system.

This game totaly insults the many good works of the original author.

and yea it's pretty damn demeaning to women, which has nothing to do with the original theme of the Conan books.

The devs originally said the nudity was to stay "true to the story".

Instead in every turn it's just a way to cheapen the game, in attempts to draw teenage boys..

Come on funcom. Your catch to lure people in is promise of hot girls? What a lame angle to take.

I can care less if it's a starting prof or not. As long as it don't change to one later like SWG did to me.

AOC has some good elements but it's a bug filled bowl of bleh right now.

Customer service redifines bad to a whole new level. Worst ever that I've seen.

They are really dropping the ball. If this game was polished and relativly bug free it would be making millions more then it is.

It sure as hell is alot better then being a starting profession.

I actually liked the idea of the Force villiage CU brought. It was rough but atleast it was better then just grinding professions.

Not to mention people like me get totally screwed who worked our asses off grinding jedi to only break them and everything you own to turn it into a cheesy kiddie starting profession.

As for the bugs. There are STILL bugs in SWG from LAUNCH!

If SOE would have just bug fixed/polished and added content to pre cu, SWG would be THRIVING.

SOE's pathetic scam KNOWINGLY making a change THEY KNEW would make their player base leave in discust in hopes to draw some WoW kiddies. They even admitted to taking the cheaper route of just patching and changing the current code instead of making a new code for NGE.

Turning a RPG style combat system into the sad excuse it is now by just patching some changes is like strapping wings to a bus to make an airplane instead of designing a plane from the start.

Fail with a capital F U SOE.

I've had experiences with buisness crashing and burning, and know the signs of trouble.

I got a mail from funcom with this detailed survey. The format is classic example of when a company hires a outside scource to revamp or rework a company in trouble. They have hired a company to assess the major problems.

Funcom really needs to get on the ball because every update I have seen has made things worse and more buggy. The customer service is even worse then SOE. Very unprofessional. Very sloppy programming.

Many people I talk to in AOC are not going to be resubscribing. The servers are not nearly as full as release.

I feel bad for the artist team because they did a great job with the art direction, but Funcom needs to hire some programmers to fix the mess of a code, and hire some real customer service.

I am not a hater. There is alot I like about AOC. There is just more that is making me not resub.

What a bunch of crap.

Anyone who tries to say people didn't leave because of NGE is TOTALLY dillusional.

Anyone who wants pre cu it exists. I can't speak of it on forums though.

Actually I've always wanted to play a fat character in a MMO.  So far no luck.

SWG you can be fat. Too bad NGE sucks, and unfortunatly I can't speak of the real SWG :)
