I gotta try a game first, and all i hear are good things about AC, is there a trial i can download?

I have to agree, newer developers should look at older successful games like shadowbane and try to use the information to create a newer more solid and satisfying mmorpg.

I still aply shadowbane though, can't beat the pvp in this game.

The witchhunter is like a cleric from the spanish inquisition, you find the evil, interogate it, then execute with extreme prejudice. Never heard of solomon kane but still this is the best explaination i can give :)

I played it when it was p2p because it was actually one of the only asian mmorpgs that is worth a monthly fee xD

Well most f2p asian mmorpgs are the same but this one has a certain charm to it, the whole steam punk theme is quite refreshing and there is no lack of quests at the start, although the english translations are horrible and sometimes hard to figure out what NPCs are talking about most of the time the game it still fun, combat is about as solid as WoWs and the graphics look similar but are choppier than WoWs.

All in all good game, its better than most f2p, still a premium shop for those who want NOT NESSESARY TO BE GOOD THOUGH!!

EVE is truley boring, i tried many diffrent paths in the game: fighter pilot, trader, miner, all have been a huge bore, i didn't wanna buy a full subscription so i could play "business man" in an MMORPG, i could do that in every other mmorpg and still have my fun of slaying a dragon or in sci-fi destroying aliens.

OK, so, i only post when i have something decent to say, in this case its a decent flaming.

Oben (the topic poster) only has a total of 15 posts on this website, i know this may sound ignorant but that doesn't seem like enough forum experience to flame a game he hasn't even read about, he saw a screenshot with a winged character and it was low quality therefore looking like L2, a common mistake but going on about how thats the only feature? Come on, from what ive read they're even adding flying combat (arial battles!?! sweet!)

As for the rudeness of the whole post and the excessive ignorance used in it i just dont think this is how post should look, shame on you Oben.

10/10 on what you just said, its all personal prefference though, i have to play a level/class game although i preffer they mix it up at some point with duel classing or something.

Someone will usually bash every game on this site, best thing to do is look for a trial like everyone above me has said and try it yourself.

Well i read everything i could on the website there and the only thing that looks fun are the graphics....

How can you guys bitch about grinding? seriously, im level 30 and yes thats low and yes im still running legacy but i dont see any grind, any bugs, and graphics problems, i haven't foudn anything wrong, hell the greatest part is the fact i dont need to do "go find this" "go kill that" quests, i could go to a cantina and play music for 10 minutes. There is variety, im playing a jedi and if i wanted i could switch my proffesion, talk about giving you unlimited choice of actions. If your bored after playing 1 proffession or doing hunting quests then TRY SOMETHING ELSE! everyone i see posting about bordom has only tried 1 class/proffession and is only concerned with leveling, go rp for an hour see how it refreshes you.

What couldn't be better?? A Star Wars MMO!!

You'll find the community is very fun-loving for the very most-part,
And PvP (and) PvE, and everything else is very fun.
It's really one of those games where there's a LOT of endgame and fun leveling
You will ALWAYS have something to do in that game...
Even after 4 years of playing, one day I can feel like I don't want play 10 features of content in SWG, and still have loads of fun. There is no other game that has impressed me like that.

PS. It's not a grind fest, don't listen to others. The Legacy Quest (questline that takes you from landing on Tatooine to level 50ish) may seem like a grind to some people who roll thru it in less than a week, and you'll have plenty of content to go around leveling. Even if you want to resort to "Grinding", it's actually really not that bad at all. I had lots of fun with it ( solo RPer here :P )! And it's not like it's not rewarding...at the VERY LEAST!!

actually when im running my graphics on max, which i get no lag from, it looks alot better than any others ive played

What level are you now ? I'm level 87 due to grinding bits and pieces here and there during various vet trials.I've really only done some of the new  85-90 content , As for the rest I have no clue .

And As I said it depends on the mission some have been horribly long and boring .

currently i have reached the trial maximum level of 25, and im buying a full sub in about 1 or 2 days and continuing my awsome star wars experience

It really depends on the mission , Some yes very lame . Others have been quite fun , although I have seen better polish and imagination.The quests in place now are something that really could have helped old school SWG ,That goes for PVE in general in NGE .Although I severely miss the old loot/weapons systems from pre-cu , not to mention the combat and my fencer/pist/doc .

I haven't tried PVP (haven't reached 90 yet ) , Which is my main focus in MMO's , I do expect it to be better executed/balanced than AOC However.

Not from experience but from talking to several level 90's in game i hear the PvP in very fun.

The NGE in my opinion at the time was a little weird, but when I look at the bigger picture -- the fact that it's a freaking Star Wars MMO -- then I see it as the same game. I've grown to love the NGE way more now.

I appreciate the input, although the servers are only empty in some places, you have to find a hang out spot which there are quite a few on each planet. As for the missions they aren't so boring if you have friends to play with.

Well when i started playing i was expecting a crap load of glitches, bugs, and broken missions but after 5 days im hooked, if you a star wars fan (which you kinda have to be) you'll love this game.

Now the game has some animation bugs and yes SOE is messing with the proffesions a bit, but they are just balancing things out and its working. No missions ARE NOT BROKEN! i have not run into one mission that was broken. graphics make me feel like im really on naboo and tatooine. gamplay, leveling system, fighting, everything feels like the real star wars world.

Just 1 posotive opinion, its all about personal prefference, all opinions expressed are mine and mine alone.
