in OB and such my stuff always said 100% for the cores didn't matter if I was using 1 or 2 . I think the thing was it was utilizing the other core and it was having some problems with duel core processors. I had a horrible time after I went back to one core and went to full screen instead of windowed I got good FPS again but still it took the game maybe 20-25 mins to crash and would require me to boot the game back up again. |

Its been the same for me I would have to restart or the game would just keep losing performance and then it would crash. |

I just ran it on full screen and put my cores down to 1 and it ran good for awhile then the fps got lower and lower and then the game crashed normally to the note to send Funcom. Ah well I am giving up on it. |

I am running a decent setup AMD 6400+ X2 4GB Corsair XMS2 6400+ Ram 8800 GTS 512 gfx I was running ok I guess before that patch I was stalling and such but it wasn't unplayable. Well I dl'd the patch and just got to play it today and it was stalling badly and then I even got a BSOD needless to say I haven't booted it back up. I am not sure what's wrong. |

Ok guys I dl'd the open beta on day 1 I also played the PVP beta weekend and it played flawlessly with no hiccups and a constant 64 fps throughout. Well I know folks are having problems but I got the stalling down to a minimum on day 1 and it was staying at 64 fps until it would stall or lag whatever. Well I dl'd the new patch a few days ago and I just booted it up today. Well I was getting horrible stalling and so bad the game wouldn't respond for a few seconds or whatever I am running this in windowed mode btw. Then the screen would go white just in the game client or black for a few seconds. Well I was playing through the patch client so I exited out and went to the normal one with the debugger window thingy. Well it didn't take long and it did the same thing except it gave me a blue screen of death memory dump. Well needless to say I didn't turn it back on. All my components are up to date and running VERY cool as I keep temps in check. But all my stuff runs really cool with my set up anyway. I played other games after the BSOD and everything else ran fine just making sure I wasn't getting any kind of memory issues from it crashing. So now I am not sure if it is my client or are other folks experiencing this? The stalls in game made it unplayable it was still doing this in full screen and I saw someone say go to windowed mode well I did this. My set up is : AMD X2 6400+ w/after market fan and heatsink (stays at like 20-30C) 4GB PC2 6400 Ram (Corsair Twin2X4096 XMS2) w/heat spreaders eVGA 8800 GTS 512MB gfx (was running 2 of these in SLI but from pvp weekend didn't get alot better performance it stayed constant no matter what) (which at the time was 64 fps) Vista 32 Bit With this the OB client has been unplayable since this patch and I know I shouldn't be crashing like this I do not crash in any other games I play but this has been ridiculous I know I meet reccommended specs lol.

I played OB first day and just couldn't take the crashes and memory leaks going in and out of the game and such even to test the servers was becoming a waste of time. I played the PVP beta weekend and it had some issues but I have to say it ran smoothly for me in the opening places and even around all the pvp folks. I got a constant 64 fps in the starting areas and it ran like a gem. But then in this OB the char. creation screen went black on me the first time then it had trouble loading. After I got up into the gate to start into the first city the game froze. I was getting all sorts of random freezes and such and I do have a very nice PC. So I was like wtf. I will be getting the game or at least playing the early start and if it doesn't work out just sell my game when it gets here. Anyway I know they were stress testing but this OB test with 50k people has put ALOT of folks out there with negative criticism and even though people say its an old client which I think it is also since the PVP beta client ran 100% better for me. Playing the PVP beta weekend I wanted the game so bad then playing the OB I was hmmm I hope the final game isn't like this and had me think second thoughts. But I think they did mess up with releasing an old build even to stress test because this has put alot of negative media out for them and it will sway some folks who were on the fence and aren't in beta. And the one's who want to play and got in to test it out may be turned off completely. I know it's a stress test but it has been running horribly for some. And that isn't a great first experience. |

Slythe I know myself I keep my stuff clean also. I am only at maybe 50% ram usage in game with no other programs running or anything. The game does seem to really be eatting my CPU but I have heard folks say they aren't utilizing duel or quad cores in this beta version. |

I still do get some chunking and I haven't check it since I went into night mode I know with other folks around it would get a little worse before. I mean I would be at 64 fps constant then drop to about nothing and sometimes the game would crash or certain stuff just would respond. I had the loading screen thing happen it seemed once I got into a place it would load quicker if I went out or whatever. But yeah it was taking me awhile before your hard drive speed and other stuff depends on this also. But now I load quick but still getting waaay to many bugs and the performance as I said has been horrible. There were numerous folks complaining about lag and freezing in game then some say there's nothing wrong with there game.So I am not sure whats up maybe its having problems with certain card or certain set ups I am not sure. |

Why not stress test with the gold client and see how the actual game is gonna run with so many folks and so many different system specs. Or at least a closer to final build I know they wanted to keep some things under wraps but man I was so looking forward to this game and now I am have second and third thoughts I do have my pre-order code and will try that when it comes out on the 17th. But I do have to say from the start I had problems this time even in the starting area but the PVP weekend worked alot better for me I have heard it was a newer build. But still imo they should have let us try the newer client to stress it and see how it was gonna be looking when the game goes live so what if alot of the bugs have been fixed and such? You would want people to test the newer build to check bugs in something that hasn't been looked over already and such. Or they could be blowing smoke up our ass and it's all the same client. |

I had to lower stuff also and it make it playable but I still got the lagging in places but not nearly as bad and I did load quicker. But man having to turn everything so low with a decent system and it still has problems kinda ruins it for me. I saw where ALOT of folks were having performance issues and I have noticed alot of times it is with the higher end video cards the duel core processors not sure if you saw that to. |

Plus I just haven't found it as fun as I thought I would. I want a game that gets me going from the start and I do not wanna stop leveling. |

I have an 8800 GTS 512 and I am getting the same performance issues. I just turned the game off as I didn't wanna play like that I have all the latests Nvidia drivers and everything is up to date. Runnin 4GB ram and a AMD duel core 6400+ CPU. I was at a constant 64 fps or so but the lagging and and constant skipping bothered me it kinda took away from being able to try it out I finally just sent in my feedback and hope they fix the issues. I really wanna play this game but so far I have been kinda bored I know up to level 20 is supposed to be like this but I kinda turned the game off at level 8 or so as I just got bored. I don't know if the game bored me or the constant problems I was having. |

well I keep getting alot of crashing with the game stopping I am running Windows mode when it was up it stayed at 64 fps but then after a bit would go way down and kinda stop and then it wouldn't respond. I am going to wait for release and see if they fix some of these problems no reason to sit here trying to play if it isn't working for me not sure what's up. |

Gonna check my FPS in a few to see what I am really at I get good performance when it wasn't lagging or small freezes for like 1-2 secs every now and then. I ran it on full and windowed mode. It wasn't terrible performance but the PVP weekend I did get alot better performance I had to log out and back in a few times in large areas as some people said it would freeze and go down to like 1-2 fps but coming back in I would be at 50-60 fps with a room full of people and running 60 fps in the starting area constant with only a few hiccups. But this open beta build I have been getting alot more hiccups. I am running a 3.2 ghz or so duel core processor (AMD 6400+),4 GB PC2 6400 Ram, Nvidia 8800 GTS 512 MB videocard, and the PS is like 700w. So I know everything is fine I run alot of other games with no hiccups at all. So maybe it's just as old build as someone said and I know someone else said it wasn't using both cores for duel core processors yet or something. But really it has been horrible I stopped playing last night and I saw so many people complaining and it was most folks with almost the same specs as mine I did notice folks with lower end card and such saying they were running smoother so maybe it is the duel core's or some other issues. But gonna try it again today. |

Too buggy for me also tonight gonna ride it out though and let it sit for tonight I hate bad lag and such in games just not worth playing really. I know it wasn't my system I am running a 3.2ghz duel core,8800 GTS 512, and 4GB ram. So with all that it was very very laggy and buggy I have had to restart the program 3 dif times. I know they were saying they were using an older engine and such for beta but alot of these beta folks will be there main people to play also when it starts so give them a good first impression on what to expect. The pvp beta weekend for me ran alot better then this tonight. |

But I got weird stuff in the PVP beta weekend also and my comp runs smooth on any other game I play. Running 4 GB Ram a good 3.2 ghz duel core cpu,and the 8800 GTS 512.
