Looks to me each side has a few support healing classes like hybid types then 1 major healer. I am sure they can do different things. it depends on how they will be specced I am guessing. I think this will be quite enough imo though.
On Order you have Rune Priest,Warrior Priest, and Archmage On Destruction you have Shamans,Zealot, and the Disciple of Khaine Yes all of them can deal damage but it will not be MAJOR dps I am sure. |

I do not think it will be JUST like WOW but people will find similiar stuff they always do. The thing is the hardcore games and such are one thing some people want and the thing is most players are casual players so thats where they make the most money. I mean you look at the older MMO's and they are all almost alot harder then whats out today. The reason is the genre grew and expanded to just a few hardcore peeps wanting that real in game out of life experience. So what happens more folks get involved in these games that aren't as good or hardcore and they want to have fun playing the game also. So the thing is they make it where its accessible to everyone while trying to please the hardcore people and alot of times it doesn't work. But it's just a game in the end so try it out and see if you like it and just have fun is all I have to say. I myself am casual I sometimes do not have time to form a group to kill a few normal mobs and grind for XP sometimes I wanna go in and just kill in PVP or just do some quests. This is what WAR will be about. |

Well with AOC they still wanted to get a little bit I think. With WAR I figure Paul is pretty confident people will like it lol. I pre-ordered mine from Amazon the day it became available and have had my code on there for a long time. |

Originally posted by LuckyCurseI myself came from WOW and LOTRO and other games. I tried the game to almost 40 and didn't get myself into it. Some say grouping starts at 40 but grouping isn't a huge part for me I group when I have to and thats about it till end game. I go at my own pace and explore and do everything I can the first time through so enjoy the experience but to me the experience felt dulled down and very lackluster, The load screens and such took me out of the experience and I know other games have them but for some reason it really bothered me. I don't know I have no one reason why I quit it was several but the main one for me was I wasn't having enough fun. And as the other poster said I do not need a game I have other stuff to play or I will wait for another game to come along. There is a few I am waiting to see what happens with them. |

Well I thought it was a good review everyone is entitled to what they think especially if they give the game a good go. And some folks like myself if you get a game you wanna dive right in I like to get in and explore and level and since I do not have alot else to do then most of my time is spent in the game. I have the same feelings a the reviewer I myself couldn't get into the game I know alot of folks love it and will play. It was just not my game and I did not enjoy myself. I am still waiting for a new game as I have played alot of them and only a few have held my interest. But in the end I know some folks will say give this game to level 20 or whatever but the thing is people want to get into a game that they find fun from the start like myself I do not want to have to bring myself to have fun in a game. If the game engages me from the start then it's a good bet I will enjoy myself for a long time. I played to the higher level in AOC and I did not get any more satisfaction from it as it felt like I was forcing myself to play to get to the point to where folks were saying it opens up and is fun. Well I got to like 35 and that was enough for me. I played OB and hoped the real game would be a tad better for me and I just couldn't get into it. I so much wanted to like and play this game but it just didn't happen. So make up your own mind about a game read the reviews of other folks if you want but do not be so harsh because you have to think only a small percentage write what they feel the rest just leave or keep playing. I think the ones who take there time to tell us what they think deserve some praise for taking the time and letting others know there feelings. But in the end wait for a buddy pass or some free time to see what you think. I think this game will do ok and I wish everyone who is playing it luck. |

I do not know if they have it there but here we have pre-paid credit cards from like Greendotonline.com and Netspend.com not sure if you can use those where you live or if they have some sort of pre-paid visa or mastercards there. You could just put as much on one of these as you would a time card and if you do not decide to continue with the game just cancel and then you can spend the money or withdraw it back from an atm. So check to see if you can find a place that has these in your area of if you can order one online. it's alot more simple. I used to do it my paying this way when I first started playing since I didn't have a normal CC back then.

I do not think they are an option yet since the game just came out. They aren't offering buddy passes atm. |

Originally posted by _Kyle_ Yeah I know well i got a good deal on this CPU and so far it's handled everything I have thrown at it. next time I do upgrade which will be next tax season I will shooting for a Quad Core Intel. I am using the 4GB since I plan to upgrade to a 64 bit system wish I would have went with ultimate at the time and had both discs lol. Not sure if it's configured better I know my stuff runs really cool since I use an after market cooler for the CPU and not the stock one with really nice heat spreaders. Thats one performance killer as you said is heat. I boot my GPU fan up to like 50-60% at least and it keeps it super cool. But yeah I do wish i would have went with the Intel over the AMD but I hadn't upgraded for awhile I still had a decent PC and didn't read up on alot of stuff which I wish I would have. The 6400+ has been good though and it's on par with some Intel Core 2 duo's. But I know alot of the lower AMD X2's run like crap compared to the intel counterparts of them. But with a 5200+ I would expect decent performance. I know anything usally in the 4000's for AMD bottleneck the 8800's your probably getting some bottle necking. |

I was having the probs in Conana haven't tried the PVP thing going on since I uninstalled the game before that good patch came out. But for PVP beta weekend I ran at like 60+ fps constant with my rig. 8800 GTS 512 4 GB Corsair XMS2 PC2 6400 Ram AMD 6400+ Vista 32 bit premium |

Originally posted by markoraosWell with D2 they took that as far as they wanted it to go. A quicker game to blow through to get new equipment and since it had no sub who cared if you stayed in they had your cash from buying the game but I loved D2 and came back many, many, many times in the years past. As for GW yes they put out new stuff but there stuff has an end and isn't nearly as long as WOW or another game if you wanna PVP make new chars whatever. GW just didn't drag me in GW was meant like that to have chapters and such you would have to pay for this was the price for it to be the way it is and have no sub. WOW is putting out expansions at a decent rate I think they put out new content and new dungeons and such is a big deal they like to give folks enough time to try new stuff before throwing new stuff in and giving folks time (since it is geared based) to play with there new toys. Most games do usually 1 normal expansion after the first year and continue on that way putting them out once every 1-1.5 years and putting there minimal content in the game in between. The expansion is meant to bring something new to the table for that game and expand it. People will play WOTLK and find flaws some will hate it and some will love it. To me WOTLK will fit better then BC did for some reason I just never got that much into the BC zones or content as much as I would to have like to have did I rushed to 70 and raided the places looked good but it didn't feel like it did when I first leveled my guy to 60 it felt like a journey. WOTLK looks like it fits better with WOW and I think it will be a better time. |

One thing that keeps WOW fans interested I think is the community the player base is so large you will find folks with similiar interest and with things like ventrilo and teamspeak it adds to being able to make friends and form bonds with these people. AOC will have this as any other game has but because it is so large and so well known WOW keeps alot of the same folks and people come and go and then come back again. But I have known other games where people play for no time at all get tired and just leave. I met alot of pals in WOW and we carried to other games I do not play WOW anymore but I still keep in contact with my friends I met on there and guilded with for so long who do. I mean sitting there for hours talking and strategizing about how we will beat a boss next week or whatever really drew me in. But none of my pals except 1 I know of is playing AOC I will probably pick up the retail when it comes out as I canceled my pre-order but I will be getting it on the 21st instead of the 20th. Anyway this was one reason WOW is so big alot of those people just do not wanna leave those friends and close knit guilds and whatever else they have formed just to try another game sure some will try it and try to get others to come over its always like that since I was in WOW people try and get you to try this and this game with them. I see them leave for 3-6 months and then come back. I would complain about WOW and shit but I couldn't tear myself away because I had so many pals on there. Right now I am waiting for that game that does that for me and so far the AOC community hasn't been that great from what I have seen in chat and such. |

I could not say anything about gameplay I am running a well above recommended specced PC and was getting stalling, clipping, and crashes it took my game all of 10-15 mins to crash and once I had it crash to the BSOD. The game was running horribly but I played the PVP weekend and it ran soooooooooooooo smooth for me it was like it had already been released. I was getting constant 64 fps everywhere and then in the OB I got this but it declined quick and then would crash I had worse problems after that last patch they did. |

I got out of WOW and went to LOTRO until AOC came out I quit about 2 months ago or close to it. And now since I played AOC and seen I do not think it will last for me in the end I will go back to LOTRO casually and wait for WAR lol. |
