For all who are interested in joining this game, let me say it is the best mmo i have played, and i've played alot of them. This game even at the end, against contrary belief, is in-fact rather fun. It is just some people do get into crappy raiding guilds and what not. Now I have to say ?I did get bored near the end there, but that was because my guild was well...crappy. I was rather put off when my guild broke up, now i'm regretting ever quitting. WoW is such a perfect MMO in every way, the game, even when you get bored, gives you that crap in your pants feeling of joy when it pulls you back in. This game rarely dissapoints, and I yearn to play it, but now that my gamin comp is broken not much I can do now.

For those who are waiting for the expansion pack to play, don't. Start playing now and just have fun with it and when WotLK comes out you can experience that crap in your pants feeling of joy that i was talking about. Trust me, this game is Wo-wo-wow-wonderful.

Look, the game really is a community of youngsters, and the pressure to buy NX is very great, it has gotten so bad that it was actually put on the news that it was becomming a craze. Kids were stealing their parents credit cards and charging unbelievable amounts onto them. I really think, especially since it says 12+ it should only be for 12+, yet kids younger than that fake their age and play. Seriously, someone should do something about that because these kids are being subjected to amazing amounts of negative personality traits. So I still stick with my previous post that your commenting on now. It is not for all ages, and there is lots of money required.

Ok, so I need some help. I have a very serious glitch, when i beat the game as i exited the Temple of the One some lady came up to me and told me the Grey Fox wanted to meet me in Bruma. I hadn't even joined the Thieves Guild, so I try to talk to him, he just says,
"Don't you have something to do?"

So I decide to join the guild, i do a couple of quests and decide to help the grey fox. I help him get a stone from the Temple of The Ancestor Moths. A few quests late, I get up to the "Getting rid of Lex" quest and The Stranger is nowhere to be found so i decide to help with another quest the Grey Fox assigned me. I complete that quest and get Master Thief, then i go and the stranger is there, I do that quest and talk to the khajit who gave me the job, and i get 'promoted', but technically it was a demote, because when i leave i get a message saying to go to the Imperial City and wait for orders from the grey fox, but the fence i need to talk to wont let me fence off him. So i decide to reload an older game and try to find a way to get the stranger to pop up, but he doesnt, ever, and really, im in quite a pickle. Can someone 'elp moi?

I have had an urge to play this game for quite some time, but just took the plunge to play it again as of today. I really missed the great community and I am excited to play end-game, since this has been said to have the best end-game of any mmo. :P

Tantra has amazing graphics and gameplay for a free mmo. The only problem you may have other than the common free asian mmo downloads, is the lack of communication for players who don't speak philipino. Other than that, you should enjoy it tremedously. You can use WAD keys to move around, so you aren't confined to the usual click type movement that you find in most asian mmos (Examples: Conquer, Eudemons, SRO, Gate To Heavens). If you haven't tried this game, I suggest you do.

ZeniMax, the parent company to Bethesda Softworks, who are known for their classic Elder Scrolls Series, announced it's creation of a new branch company, ZeniMax Online Studios. It's head, Matt Firor, who had worked at Mythic Entertainment for 10 years working on MMO titles, one of them being Dark Age of Camelot. Even though they haven't released any information on their current project, I think it is safe to say that it could very well be an Elder Scrolls MMOG. Even if it isn't, it has to be one  of a game in the making.

I wasn't bashing Warhammer O.o I was just trying to state my case, I myself was thinking of getting into it. That was not the point I was trying to get over, I was trying to say that all this anticipation and hype could end up turning into a large pile of dissapointment as it has done multiple times for me and others, an example being Vangard. Maybe Warhammer will be the greatest game to hit the MMO world, but I am just saying be open to the possibility that it could end up being just as repetative and boring as other games, even with the majority of the game being PvP based. Again, Only time will tell.

Would it be alot to ask of these people to add some PvP to MapleStory? Maybe a couple more quests so the level grind isn't so unbarable. PQs, waiting on a ch to open is the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard, although I understand it's to control lag on the server, could you at least make multiple PQs, so that players have other PQs to rely on. Possibly adding more gear for the higher levels. If I could list all the things this game needs I would probably write more things than some are willing to read. Now I know most of the players are underaged and underpayed, so i'm going to be very blunt and straight-forward when I say, "This game is boring." Something different other than Cash Shop Items and pretty new places that are useless would be nice. Not to bash Wizet, Nexon, Asiasoft or any other affiliate with the maplestory franchise, but unless they do something to spice this game up, it is going to get smashed like a bug and thrown to the side of the road before the end of the year. They can't rely on Cash Shop to bring in the money for long people, Next Gen games are coming, and this reality will become apparent to them in the next couple of months if they don't do something that actually adds to the game and not the bundles of money that are coming from their waning cash-pool.

I'm not one to be a pessimist, but is it just me or do most of these games look like all glam and no sustanence? I kinda feel like im gonna get the same mmos, just with better graphics.  Not to bash some of these upcoming mmos, but Warhammer is basically WoW with pretty graphics, tanks, and a couple of other qwirks. Looking at all these upcoming mmos i can already compare them with a load of other MMOs, I just feel like no one has stepped forward to make something that is original, I guess....Still praying that i'm wrong.

I know this really isn't a suprise to those who actually played Ragnarok back in the hay-days. This game has been long in waiting, and judging by the crazy media and the release of the closed beta in japan it should be hitting the americas by 2009-2010.  Although I'm sure most ppl are going to judge this one off the old Ragnarok, even though that one had an amazing stat. system, Judging by the in-game trailers it won't be point and click,  but who knows, even if it is, It should still be a great game. I would expect the graphics to have really taken a jump and leap when they hit America, If their quick enough we could possibly see this on the later line up of MMOs with these next gen MMOs, only time will tell.

Their fun at the start, talk to people across the net, play with them on the net, and just the pure joy of trying to outlevel your online buddies, but once you start noticing that this gets all too repetative, you start to look for more in an MMO, but no matter what you play or what you do, it leaves you in the same place that you started, looking for more. Even if you try to break away, you find yourself back at your seat in a matter of days looking for an MMO, but I have played practically every MMO from A-Z and litterally, all of them are Level, Gear-grind, and getting pissed off with the majority of the players. I just wish I could find something that filled this void in my heart...

Maplestory is just a game that will eventually sucker even the most respecting of people into wasting their PARENTS' hard earned money on a "Free" game. I found that the mass majority of this game is under the age of 10, which means that their not even old enough to play this game. Not to mention that the game is almost impossible to play without buying some NX for certain things like a store permit. The game may seem fun at the start, but when it gets down to it, the majority of the players in this game couldn't even pass as a 13 year old with a major case of Down-Syndrome. IF you are looking into playing this game or comming back to play it, I strongly advise you to do otherwise, and if you do play it, don't say you weren't warned to do otherwise.

Well this was the topic i was just about to post. Played em all; it's pretty much the same with any of these MMOs, has a glossy and exciting start and then when you get to mid-game you notice that the game begins to repeat; same monsters, gear, the areas seem to differ very little, but your to hooked to break away from the game. I just say wait for that one something special, dont waste you money on anything, just wait for the next-gen MMOs, and then see if any of them satisfy. Thats what I plan on doing.

I've played almost every type of MMO you can think of, non of them were satisfying. It seems every MMO that I gain interest in I quickly lose it because everyone says that every single one of these MMOs are cloned off a certain game, and each and every one of them just bores these people to death. Are there ANY good MMOs out there?

If anything, I say they dont take anything out but only expand on what they have. This game is still in it's early stages and many new things are still in store for it, although i am not so sure about PvP :P. This game will come along, just like every MMO it has it's flaws, and those will be fixed sometime in the near future.
