same!!!!!! I played rs for about a year, went to Gw for about a month, went back to RS, went back to GW for about 7 months, went to a bunch of diff mmorpgs, quit those, ENDED UP GOING BACK TO RS!!

This game is the first MMORPG I've ever played.. yes it may look sucky, it may have scammers and liars, but hell it has anything a MMORPG should have. You don't have to stick to 1 profession, you can do whatever you like whenever you want, that's the true thing which is called ROLEPLAYING, the thing most games forget. I played this game at the 7th grade(In the Netherlands you are around 10-11 years old) and I was hooked for about 2 years. This game means alot to me, it taught me proper English and gave me a decent amount of fun.

So please, if you haven't played it for a decent time, leave these forums and never com back *echo*

I have played for over two years, took about a year break, and started up again recently...It is a very fun game. I love all the skills and quests, and I have also learned to get over the graphics...but the community is the worst...50% are scammers, and the next 45% are rude people...but its a fun game when you and a couple of friends are bored out of their minds during summer. But, I like this game :]

The game IS getting better......but its a bit slow, but it IS...this game HAD THE POTENTIAL TO BE AWESOME! but it released like two years early..lol

Very Nice. I have to agree to a certain extent. WoW is a fun game. I love the controls, and the animation, but I feel the gameplay lacks. All there really is to do is quest, get some items, bring them back to the quest giver, kill stuff, etc. But, WoW is still the best of EQII, LOTRO, I think.

I don't really understand why the hype-level isn't higher because the creators of this game are from DISNEY! They have mroe money than God, so they probably highered the experts of the experts...I have a feeling this game will be really good... Disney over does everything, and that is why I think this game will PWN

I completely agree...WAR is kinda veering the EQ1 track though, being all pvp...but who knows...they *probably* wont have all that they promised on release, so it probably doesnt matter anyway...

All the races are true...I do hope it is a seamless world.......Dunno about WoW+GW tho...but who knows...CANT WAIT...

Ok, I got the discs and like 6 trial keys from my friend. I popped in the first disc, and it was way too badly scratched and my computer could not read it. Is there a place where I can download it or something? Or someone wanna mail me their discs? lol (kidding about last one)

It is his opinion, and he has the right to excercise it. I personally, hope for the best for WAR, and will definatley play it upon release. But, I definatley won't be surprised if it IS a flop. SO MANY games have made promises they couldn't keep. *cough*Dark and light *cough*

Once again, I wish for the best for WAR, but the original poster of this thread has opinions too, and he can excercise them as with everyone else on these forums.

I was addicted to runescape for a long time...I would go back if it wasn't so.....................dumb or if there werent so many fcking scammers.

Dark and Light-- a 2006 "next gen mmorpg" that was a HUGE bust, it practically was still in open beta when it was released, and on

top of that, it was p2p. The community right now is around 75, and I am hoping to change that. Now, since DnL is f2p, it is definatley

worth a look because the developers have made some changes, nothing huge, but that is because the playerbase isnt very big. But,

the more people, the more changes and updates. The game actually isnt as bad as it was upon release.... There are some people

with their hard heads who I can't change their minds, so I won't waste my breath trying. I reccommend everyone just give this game

another chance....it doesn't cost a dime....

I played maplestory for a little bit, then took a break, then started up again. I was having a lot of fun at first...just killing these little snails........then i reached grind city, and quaint little town filled with mushrooms, mushrooms, and more mushrooms...a tree stump or jelly here or there...or  maybe even a snail. *gasp* I was killing all of its inhabitants then all of a sudden, I lvled! I heard it is very rare above level 40...

the point i am trying to make is that this game is grinding, grinding, and more grinding...DONT PLAY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maplestory probably has the worst grind ever...also, silkroad is pretty bad....

sorry to break it to ya...but this is life. We dont always get what we want right away...we have to be patient....and if you are going to whine and complain, then we dont want you in the games anyway....contaminating with immaturity and impatience.
