Armor isn't sexy. I don't care how skimpy and/or detailed they make it, especially in pixelated form.

The Postman. I can't remember much, but it was dreadful & dreadfully long. Worst of all I don't think he even delivered a letter, what a sham.

I gotta go with WoW, although my playstyle is not compatible with the way the game works, of course that aside the gameplay is the best I have played, all I need now is a reason to play. Sadly for a soloist like myself progression is no longer possible & that defeats the purpose of logging in.

I guess when it comes down to it enjoyable gameplay is secondary to my need for an overall purpose in playing, for instance in WoW it was simply about grinding in order to increase my rate of grinding, I was not actually working towards anything & I was not enjoying myself in doing so which caused me to cancel my account.

I'm hoping WAR can recreate the enjoyment I once felt when playing WoW a sense that I can have a good time working towards a goal without having to compromise the way I like to play. Not to say the sheer enjoyment might convince me to do so Because I want to, not because it's the only way to reach a further stage in the game.

Sorry to go off-topic but to me a game could have the most amazing gameplay ever of course without a purpose to playing I would lose interest & likely experience a very limited ammount of enjoyment.

I can't wait! Those write ups increased my anticipation for WAR by at least 50%!

I presently only have 2 installed: Mythos & Dungeon Runners. I uninstalled Guild Wars a couple weeks ago, I just don't like that game.

Basically I'm Waiting on WAR.

I'm most likely gonna go Greenskin, Choppa or Squig Herder, probably both actually.

I'm waiting for WAR, I've got my eye on AoC as well but I'm less than enthused to play at this point.

I can see it now, raid bosses will drop prescriptions for Viagra, now that's worth my DKPs!

Seriously though, this is a potential reason to stay away from this game for me, although we have not recieved enough details to say for sure at this point. I see this feature drawing in the last kind of crowd I'd like to interact with.

On a side note, this is one of the funniest threads I've read in a while.

I agree world PvP with less controlled/fixed factors is a whole lot more enjoyable & fun than instanced battles with set conditions.

I like the idea of realm pride, although sadly it's something I have not experienced, WoW being the only factioned MMO I ever really got into & it's servers were nothing to take pride in, at least in my experience. No real incentive to progress, grinding to increase my rate of grinding, for what?

I'm hoping WAR has the fluid playability that WoW has (had for me) with incentive to want to keep playing. That is to say persistent struggles in which I can make a difference & work with others to achieve a mutually beneficial goal. An army which I feel a part of turning the war machine on in order to oppose the enemy, for glory & most of all a good time!

I agree, those videos are less than impressive. Although my hopes for WAR are still strong, I have confidence it will be a great game.

Stealth sucks, I'm glad it won't be a part of WAR.

On the whole it reduces the quality of games imo.

Some good thoughts on CC are mentioned.

Personally I feel it is a necessary evil of course it must be kept to a minimum otherwise it comes down to who has more CC & that's just not fun.

Hellgate is the only game on that list I intend to purchase, my reasoning being I'm a huge Diablo 2 fan as well as a history buff who is always intrigued by Templars.

Looney Toons is my all time favorite.

Honorable mentions go to Felix The Cat & Tiny Toons.

But now I wanna play Don't Piss On The Electric Fence.

I'd love to see a GTA mmo, although any FPS themed MMO would be worth a shot Imo.

I wish people would stop posting WoW topics in the War forums.
