Agreed with Cleffy here. The biggest use for a chrome OS will be netbooks, and business, at least in todays day and age. However, google is looking to the future, as usual. Right now, netbooks, and things like internet cafes, those internet stations, or anything of that nature will benefit huge from these things. Having an account for ChromeOS, that, let's say, can lock to your other google accounts, and you can login to any computer, anywhere, running ChromeOS, and access what you were doing, your stuff, whatever. Amazing idea. However cloud is still a newer concept to the consumer world. People are still getting accustomed to such things, and as developers we are also still learning, changing, adapting, etc. Within the next decade however, I think ChromeOS is situated to be a great launchpad into the future of the internet. Through google, and many other web API developers, we are slowly moving everything we do onto the internet, and as the decade passes, I don't think we will have a need for PCs as we see now. Not even for gaming. (See: OnLive) Just my thoughts :) |

The sub fee is completely optional. All you lose is the ability to take over land. Kind of like Hellgate: London did it. Still, I see where your 50 dollars to buy a game you don't know much about theory comes from. However, most PC games come out at around 50 dollars anyways. If you like Tribes, or any jetpack based shooter, and want one, this is a good choice. Then later, if you want the more advanced features, you can buy into those. I don't really see the negative there. You're buying a shooter for regular price, with the option to expand on it later. Sounds good to me. No? |

I do agree with you.. what was understandable anyways. This game has definitely degraded a lot over time. However, if you try to form more intelligible sentences next time we may be able to continue this conversation further. Right now all I see is a lot of bad writing, no grammar, and caps lock all over the place. Anyways, agreed. They need to do something about it. |

Yes, but they could have called "2 Moons" "Two Moons" which would have been much more grammatically correct, but they did not, because it would have put them at the bottom of the list sir. |

What if the next, unannounced, MMO from Blizzard is sandbox?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 12/13/09 3:05:17 AM
For the last effing time, no it's not. Blizzard was in development of this MMO way before the Activision buyout. Secondly, no. Stupid idea. GG. |

Yep. In fact, we all said that what... 2 years ago now? 3? I forget at this point. I come back every time they have a free weekend, and they fail to fix the only big issues with the game every time. Nothing to be done anymore. The horse has been beaten sir. |

This post may seem counter-intuitive, but I love how many people don't care and/or do care, enough to not post or talk about Station Cash. It just seems like SOEs second hugest screwup of all time seems to have made a lot of people... mad shall we say? Congrats SOE! and congrats to the players for standing up to them! |

General: Skelton: Hugged Your Internet Lately?
News Discussion « General Discussion 11/20/09 3:14:49 PM
It saddens me how CHEAP most of you get your internet for. 7 EUROS a month? What?! Here in Canada it's extreme. Currently, our only good ISP here, Rogers, charges us 69.99/month CAD. 25mbps download, 1mbps upload, and 125gb monthly cap. It's pathetic. I hit my cap all too often. However, yay for the internets. EDIT: I forgot to add something like 17% tax on that, as well as "access fees" of $8 a month. |

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures: Secret World Beta in New Funcom Offer
News Discussion « General Discussion 11/13/09 2:35:25 AM
Just wanted to note that Stradden and the rest of them are clearly right on this. Frankly, you guys are more than over analyzing this. Reporting the news is reporting the news. A few days ago Kotaku was splattered with info on all the COD:MW2 products, features, future DLC, etc. Does that mean they're advertising? or trying to bring traffic to the site by reporting news? The stuff was new, it was released, and they were letting their customers (or readers, whichever you prefer) know about it. Also, on the comment made about wanting them to only report on things they agree with... we call that bias. Bias is bad, no matter how you look at it. If they show bias they are going to make some people happy, and some people mad. Nobodies opinions are alike. Just saying. You guys are being ridiculous. |

The gear REALLY reminds me of FFIX/Tactics type gear, which is a good thing. Also, 'ewapons' is a typo ;) |
