This post may seem counter-intuitive, but I love how many people don't care and/or do care, enough to not post or talk about Station Cash.

It just seems like SOEs second hugest screwup of all time seems to have made a lot of people... mad shall we say?

Congrats SOE! and congrats to the players for standing up to them!

You should give all active MMORPG.com members beta access :D

"You are not authorised to read this forum." :O

I only have 7 words that describe what I want:

BETA

That is all...

It saddens me how CHEAP most of you get your internet for. 7 EUROS a month? What?!

Here in Canada it's extreme.

Currently, our only good ISP here, Rogers, charges us 69.99/month CAD. 25mbps download, 1mbps upload, and 125gb monthly cap. It's pathetic. I hit my cap all too often.

However, yay for the internets.

EDIT: I forgot to add something like 17% tax on that, as well as "access fees" of $8 a month.

Just wanted to note that Stradden and the rest of them are clearly right on this. Frankly, you guys are more than over analyzing this.

Reporting the news is reporting the news.

A few days ago Kotaku was splattered with info on all the COD:MW2 products, features, future DLC, etc. Does that mean they're advertising? or trying to bring traffic to the site by reporting news? The stuff was new, it was released, and they were letting their customers (or readers, whichever you prefer) know about it.

Also, on the comment made about wanting them to only report on things they agree with... we call that bias. Bias is bad, no matter how you look at it. If they show bias they are going to make some people happy, and some people mad. Nobodies opinions are alike.

Just saying. You guys are being ridiculous.

If the borders of the monitors were a little thinner it would look great.

"Are you currently using the dual monitor setups? Those setups will look like something of ancient ages before this monitor. It has a 43 inch curved display with 2880X900 resolution in 32:10 aspect ratio. According to the manufacturer NEC, it has a four panels seamlessly blended with a unique adaptation of DLP technology. The response rate is a superfast 0.02 milliseconds. With 12 bit color depth and 100% sRGB color range means that it has wide color gamut to represent the exact color. With a 200cd/m brightness and 10000:1 contrast ratio I am waiting to play FarCry 2 on this monitor in the weekend." SOURCE

That thing is HOT!

I use dual monitors now... but that thing is *drool*

I hate to bust this out but... anyone remember Warhammer launch? Anyone else remember the same issues? Anyone remember what happened 1-2 months AFTER said launch?

lol.

Earthrise: Anarchy Online 2.0.

/excited

Everything about Earthrise reminds me of what I always wished AO could have achieved. Everything they have shows just feels 'right'.

I shall continue to watch its progress.

The gear REALLY reminds me of FFIX/Tactics type gear, which is a good thing.

Also, 'ewapons' is a typo ;)

As for MMOs and power, I have to reference LOTRO.

It may not be the best game, or even my game of choice, but in the first 10 levels, you get story instances, quests designed around you, and you get to meet and interact with HUGE names from Middle Earth. They make you feel like you're part of the driving force behind the Lord of the Rings storyline, and I think they did a fantastic job, start to finish, with it.

Story elements like 'Story Instances' are a really good idea. This way, every so many levels you're reminded of not that you are special, but just HOW special you are to the story, and it makes you want to push on.

Anyone actually looked at the site? This game looks terribad.

Bethesda is already making an MMO, so no, they should not be on that list.

However, I 100% agree with the Valve comment. I love the way they approach things, and an MMO would be an interesting stretch for them.

Good piece :)

It's an issue with their STUPID X-Trap bull crap.

In other words, lazy devs not protecting their own game, and paying someone else to do it.

It won't get fixed. People have been having this issue weeks, thousands of people. They won't fix it. Just move on.

I remember MMORPG.com did an article about this a while back. The concepts they put forward look very interesting, and the whole setting looks amazing.

Hope things work out, we need more good games on the market today.

Now if only the servers would open back up =S

Thanks for the update.

Can't wait for more news on Earthrise and The Secret World.

And as much as people like to hate on Funcom, yes, Conan sucks, but Anarchy Online is STILL, this many years later, the ONLY good Sci-Fi MMO to date. No it's not amazing, but point me in the direction of a better Sci-fi MMO in that kind of setting, and i'll be sure to try it out.

With the EVE info, that was nice, but as you said, nothing new. The newest expansion added a bunch of stuff, that I will never get to do, because it's way out of my league, but the game is coming along nicely.

Thanks for all your hard work guys, I know most of us appreciate it. If not even a little bit jealous.

Hope the rest of your trip is good.

For those of you not looking to spend over 200, but the 100 range will fit your needs, go on over to Steelseries and check out some of their headsets. Their 5H series won PC Gaming Headset of the year last year, and at just under $100 bucks, that's a good prize. Not to mention the Siberia headset, which sits behind your neck, is EXTREMELY comfortable. All of their headsets have retractable microphones too, so if you want to go out into the real world with them, you don't look like some guy from NASA command.

Just letting everyone know, because I grabbed the 5H Series last year, and pretty much everyone I know picked up a pair after trying mine. By far, the most comfortable headset I have ever used, and functional.

I'm starting back up, and haven't been playing since the AI expansion.

I was wondering, what's the big difference between Rubi-ka 1 and Rubi-ka 2?

It told me one needed a patch, and one didn't, and I was just really confused
