I pre-ordered the CE way back and it wasalready then really hard to find a swedish site that had any left. Not that i got in the early access anyway, wasn't fast enpugh....

Funcom is only to congratulate on the, at least initial, success. I just hope the servers won't be so overcrowded they crash at once. What bothers me a bit tough is that there won't be any Direct X 10 version available at launch. I upgraded to Windows Vista just to play AoC with DX10 graphics

Great with some  precise information about city building. Good thing that you can have a city without engaging in siege-pvp unless you want to. The player cities will probably be very important for how the game is received, even if it will take a while until you can build them.

Congratulations on those that are already playing today.

Zboard is a fully functional keyboard, good choice in my opinion if you want a keyboard for gaming.

I agree that you most probably need to be a fair bit above the minimum requirements to be able to enjoy a somewhat smooth gaming experience.

But, considering AoC being acknowledged for its graphic appearence and all, im surprised that people are still surprised their old pc's won't cut it when they finally see the (imo surprisingly low) requirements.

Great to finally see some exact notes on what kind of pc you will need to get. Minimum requirements don't seem to be all that high really, looks like my 3 year old pc will just about make it with a new graphics card, tough i  really doubt it besides what it says....time to invest methinks.

Also, i agree with above statement that the lowlvl single-playing will most probably be a great strength with AoC. Now everyone on lvl 1 won't have to fight over the same rats

Alright, i won't argue with the historical facts. But since this is a game based on a fantasy-world its not really required that its based on correct historical facts, even if its inspired by the real world. So it doesnt matter if the picts in Conan is more primitive and brutal then the historical ones, wich is what the discussion started with.

Age of Conan takes place about 8000 years before the roman empire...
