No wonder they need more testing I have never even gotten into one rvr match on the test server and the population on it looks like 0 from what I have seen. |

Charging for server transfers would really piss off the already pissed off imo. People have already paid for something that was only half delivered. Drunken brawling anyone? |

I suppose your experience with the opening a AQ was as smooth as silk also. How about Lagerac Valley. Everytime they did a weekly patch Kara turned into a bug fest for about 2 days. Stuck while mining. Left and right server crashes. Alliance standing next to Horde guards in the Hinterlands where you que'd for AB and the guards posing for a photo op. Warcraft has had hundreds of bugs, and Alterac Valley was a lag fest as of when I stopped playing last spring. It has never been anywere polished or smooth even years after release. How about certain class abilities not working correcty forever. Everytime they tried to do any world event the whole friggen world would crash, and the lag was so bad as to be unplayable before the crash. That game has had more bugs then a flea circus. |

It's decent but 1/10 of what it could have been. i wouldn't rush out to buy it with the expectations of being blown away. Sounds like the next patch is going to be one they may cause me to cash in my chips. |

For some reason game manufacturers think it's fun to sit their unable to defend yourself while you are chain stunned, knocked into lava over and over, aoe spammed to death ala WoW, AoC, and War. I know they like to copy one another but some of that crap is just plain stupid. |

In the past Warcraft had very nice drops in pvp. I have even seen blues, and epics drop in AV, off of npc's. You also got xp from pvping. I thought that was still in but I haven't played in awhile. Seige weapons were supposed to be in the game at release but were never added. The que from anywhere is a nice idea but far from original. They said they did it so the main cities would have more traffice and not look dead along with the ah's only being in main traffic areas. |

With a lev 18 sorc I am in the top 3 in damage for our side, however, I have seen bright wizards my level or lower putting out 20k more total damage in a scenario. I seem to average around 36k per scenerio. I believe the last battle I was in a Bright Wizard a level lower did 54k which i have never hit. Other than that I don't know much about the BW class. Not saying they are over or underpowered, but they don't seem to be a "mirror", class of Sorc's as some claim on these forums. |

It seems to depend on the server and the time of day you play. Sometimes of day we win 70 percent and at other times can't win for anything. Friday night I logged in and we were winning game after game Sat. afternoon lost nearly all of them. |

I don't know how the game is "all about RVR" when I have about 30 quests in my log from just one area. I have rvr'd a bit and quested a bit. There seems to be a good mix of both. They have some cool looking rvr layouts and have some different things like pouring burning oil on your enemies or shooting them with a huge bolt shooter. Contrary to what's stated above, there is character customization through using Trophies and dye kits. I have yet to see anyone with my same armor. Upon character creation I was surprised with the number of different looks you could come up with. With a good computer and settings on high I think the graphics are pretty good, and the Inevitable City looks very nice. Lag; I don't seem to get anymore than WoW for instance. I have yet to die due to it in rvr or pve. I like the fact you can level up through either rvr or pve and if you are winning you get alot more points doing rvr. They have socketed type armor right off the bat and you can specialize in making item to put in the armor if you like. I thought that was nice. Also, this is one of the few games I have ever bothered with doing any kind of crafting, and I think it is set up pretty good as you don't have to search the world for one gold mine and then wait for 2 hours trying to tap it while others are jumping on it. All your crafting items come from npc's/monsters you kill. You can combine different items while crafting to get different effects. An overall decent game but not earth shattering in any form that I have seen so far. I really don't think many have experienced the end game content this soon. If they have they are few and far between and haven't had enough other players at end game to experience much. |

I was actually surprised by the number of adults in the game. In around 3 years of play and being in guilds of up to 380 people I would say I ran into no more than 6 kids on vent. |

It's funny people complaining about grammer on a WoW post, and then you get into the game and realize half of them must have a 5th grade education. The other half are in 5th grade, and thinking about dropping out so they can WoW all day. |

I personally like waiting in line while 50 subscribers are jumping on 5 npc's for a quest; makes the immersion so real. |

At least I could get into AoC to play it. WAR can't even validate my beta code. Plus it has the same crap water Fileplanet system that everyone bitched about when AoC started. |

Maybe if stores and game designers would stand behind what they sell with a return policy, it would eliminate people wanting to play a game for free and result in better games being released. I personally have plopped down 50 plus dollars for a game that is hyped to be awesome and find it's garbage too many times. Oh..........you can return it for a piece of crap with the same title....wonderful. Let's think of some examples.............Vanguard-on release, Two Worlds, Spiderman for PC, Total Annihilation, etc., etc. |

Come on this is the "showcase" game for dx 10 and they "will be adding it".....sometime in the next _______, {insert word of choice ranging from year to century}. So don't get all jacked out of shape as the lighting is supposed to rock in dx 10. Nothing like great lighting to fix everything

Isn't this the developer that said they were releasing a fabulous fantastic game that was in no way run of the mill? That it wouldn't be released until absolutely polished? |
