Never like it as a warrior, rogue, Dk, ...glad it was made for druid fun. You always ended up facing the wrong way or target out of range and it was always frustrating to figure out if you were too high, too low, out of range or what direction you were facing in order to hit something. |

I have never seen any of this in game unlike WoW and Aion where at times it has been very bad. I alson haven't seen rampant gold selling spam unlike almost all games when they open and WoW today. |

Sounds exactly like any other mmo's csr response. Blizzard for example is no better. I wouldn't expect to have any in depth conversation about anything game related from my experience with mmo csr. Aion, I had a problem and months later never did get any kind of reply. |

Star Wars TOR - shut's off Servers on a FRIDAY NIGHT! Many Canceled Subs sure to follow.

If you can't handle issues with mmo's, which are common, I suggest you lock yourself in a closet with your Game Boy, and forget about it. |

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Maintaining that "BioWare" Experience
News Discussion « General Discussion 12/28/11 9:38:23 AM
Originally posted by Hydric Hitting the space bar to skip them is very difficult. It's commonly done in the game especially on repeatable quests. It's been known since day 1 the game would be story based w/ full V.O. |

Upset about not getting in preorder man busts out a real lightsaber
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/16/11 3:42:05 AM
Calling all Jedi to Toys R US we need a defensive perimeter asap. We got a hopped up force user on the loose. Ranged attacks are useless. |

What was the point of the pre-order if this is the case.
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/15/11 10:13:02 AM
Yeah they should have let everyone in like a bunch of Lemmings, then we could be enjoying the servers crashing every 5 minutes on top of being in day long queques. The way they are doing it, while frustrating to a degree, is probably the smoothest way to do it to keep the game playable. |

The cheapest I have been able to come up w/ for anything decent that will last a few years is in the $750 range. Then if you have to buy an OS on top of that. The problem w/ buying anything name brand is that the upgradability is usually very limited. |

No macros? ok.. no reactive indicator? really?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/11/11 1:06:57 PM
The indicator should come from your character not from a glowing button. Ideally there would be a character animation that showed when a proc ability was ready. They could do something as simple as stomp one foot, move a hand to certain positon, or change the position of their weapon as an indicator, or we can just copy the old crap that's already been done. |

Oh and I just pre-ordered about 3 days ago and have registered for the early start already. So I don't know where the "We are all out of codes." is coming from. |

I pre-ordered from Amazon and got my code within a few minutes just to let you know how fast you should be getting a pre-order code. |

Are Voice Overs destined to be the new "must have" feature, or just a gimmick?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/05/11 4:54:34 PM
I think SWTOR voice over is very well done. I think it allows for much deeper quest immersion, and I hope it is a future trend. |

Is it me or does ToR have way too many abilities?
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 12/05/11 3:46:38 PM
I would rather have a choice of more abilities, then have it dumbed down to 10 of which you use 3. That's the fail method of Bizzard.

SWTOR another Beta review from long time player
General Discussion « Star Wars: The Old Republic 11/27/11 3:25:05 PM
It seems to be a good solid game to me. If I was just starting out in mmo's it would be great. It ran smoothly, the graphics were sharp, no disconnects, no lag, combat as fluid as any mmo. I liked the voice acting it allowed me to follow the quest lines more closely then just reading them. I played several different classes and they all seemed good. I really had doubts about the combat , but it's as good as any of the other mmo's I have played....actually I preferred the smoothness of the melee combat a bit more than most. I didn't get that annoying, "You are facing the wrong direction." warning like one game out there. Collision I find totally annoying and don't miss it in this game. All in all a very solid game but after playing many mmo's, I didn't see anything earth shattering about the game to really make me say "I have to play this." |

Alot of motherboards and video cards have 2 power plugs in's each nowdays. Check that. Check that your CPU fan is plugged into the motherboard. Check Ram seating, it should click into place. Make sure your power cord is firmly plugged into the back of the computer, sometimes the new ones go in hard and if they aren't all the way in the computer will do that. |

Issues with my ASUS P8Z68-PRO Motherboard...(Need some advice)
Hardware « General Discussion 9/10/11 2:45:35 PM
To reset the CMOS you don't get into the bios you do it either by removing the small watch type battery on your MOBO or looking in your manual and putting a jumper over the 2 CMOS pins. When I take out the battery I make sure the computer is off and un plugged and then leave the "watch type battery" out for a minute or 2 . If you use a jumper you just slide it over the 2 CMOS pins then take it off and it's reset. Sometimes they are in a hard to get to spot so the battery removal may work better. I am using a Gigabyte z68xp-ud3, which is real easy to overclock, has onboard msata capability, buit in HDMI and Dolby Sound and a 3 yr warranty. They have a couple of variations of this model also. This is my 4th gigabyte board and I have been very happy w/ them. |
