Is this the cutest cat/kitten video ever?

I kinda miss the days of things like those Funny Animal Vidoes where the cat gets owned for doin somethin stupid. If I ever had a camera when my old cat actually ran fullspeed into a mirror till she shattered it and it had her world spinnin. it was so funny but I was happy she was ok. She didnt learn her lesson though. |

Nah. This isn't some normal pawn shop and it intrest me that people brings in these type of stuff. It does have about a 40% to 50% when it comes to these things and no, HC didn't do a nosedive. They still show what they do best. Past, Present & Future content. There has only been one thing I didn't agree with and that was the Ice Truckers show. That should have been on TruTV. If you watch it, it is what it's about. Highlighting mainly old history and collectables, showing if they are real or fake and getting things inspected. It has some humor and other stuff, but you have to expect that. |

Off-Topic Discussion « General Discussion 11/30/09 7:11:36 PM
I think this show really suits the History Channel. Just one of the few channels that have never had a change or revamp on cable/satalite netowrk. It's more of a modern feel with a historical scent in it. Seems its always a suprise to what people bring in to me...I just wonder how the hell some people sell things for 400 when it can go off for about 3.5k. In times like this I know people need money now, but damn if it's been around the house for that long, I'm sure you can put it around Ebay for that long. I saw one episode where one guy brought an AUTHENTIC COAT OF GENERAL LEE! I mean it was a good sell. I think he got 14,000+ out of it, but that would go to an auction for so much more, but they did pressure the guy about all the auction fees, etc. etc. yet he would have gotten more if he sold that on his own. It's an addicting show. I thought the aprasial(sp?) shows on the home improvment channels are more boring than interesting, but you guys should watch this show. I think you will like it. |

Are you sure the game is a grind or maybe you are the grind?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 11/30/09 4:56:10 PM
So I play Aion and I have been playing ever since China's one went in open beta. I will get back to that though, but let me speed things up. I'm now starting to think that many MMO's now becomes a grind only when a person makes it that way. There are tons of things to do to occupy time and get exp in Aion. I already know about 2-3 ppl in AION that rushed to get to level 50, some passing up fun opportunities to go PVP and group questing in our community. Well they want to see endgame, yet when I think about end game, end game is nothing without a community of people at the end. Now I'm not saying there is nothing to do at end game in Aion, but I don't go by word of mouth. A lot of gamers do and I have to experience something myself in order to get a true opinion for myself. So I've had one guy grind out hard going to 50. He didn't gather, didn't craft, rarely participated in PVP, raids, Abyss, or with his own community. All parcrastanation. Now they get to 50 and expect to see light at the end of the tunnel when the end of the tunnel is PVP focused with PVE things to do too. So at that lvl your gathering should be maxed out or close to it. The gathering is at 0, so you can't even pick an apple from a tree in the first starting area and it is VERY TEDIOUS to get that up. To see some lvl 50 around in the lvl 10 areas gathering stuff that would result in about lvl 13-18 stuff is pretty funny. Crafting takes money and/or items and that takes up time too. That would be a bit more easier if you got money, but stil gotta be passed expert to make things for yourself and make profit. So now they get sad and they get bored and they complain when everbody is about lvl 46-48 having fun. The community is having fun. The only few I see that is actually 50 that I know is forigen and do their own thing anyway. Then your 50, too high to do most things within the community and then ya still don't wanna strive in PVP, what's the use? So sometimes I think people put themselves in these positions, because I only really grinded 2 levels and I've been having fun. This is just my experience in Aion of what I've seen with people complaining about a grind when they are not actually having fun, they pass up on community things and focus on getting somewhere as it's a job, and if that happens the job will get boring of course. Then again I don't speak for all MMO's but I'm sure many of you see where I'm going with this. |

What constitutes a bad community for you?
The Pub at MMORPG.COM « General Discussion 11/30/09 4:35:17 PM
I can't stand people who ruins other's fun. Train mobs, ninjalooting, rude people, etc. The one thing I can't stand that the top guilds on a server on any game, I'd say the top 3 are usually have the most rude, most immature people out that that boast about their lead in the server, yet can't take out a world boss because of people that they feel are "suxorz"....wtf is "suxorz". I also can't stand ignorance. Just because a player that loves to play, don't know english and loves to craft and sell don't make them a gold farmer. Ever thought that the person's lack in English makes them less social so much that they play almost in a solo way gearing up for themselves and for money? I don't know, but I can't stand such communites but it's something you gotta deal with. As long as I'm in a community of good people with a lot of the good and bad mixed together around me (like the real wrold) I'm good, but without a community that can match my likeness I can't get into the MMO for not much longer. |

The post above me is pretty good and then there is a lot of ignorant post in here. I do think that pc gamers are the biggest whiners in the community of video games, mainly because they feel threatend by conosles. Console gamers, many of them are very well rounded and talented with both keyboard and controler. Thing is me, I play everything. The PC is for simple games and MMO's and the X360 is for everything else. It's funny that most gamers can't just shut up and do what they like to do which is play the damn game. I'm not going to sit here and defend/attack gamers for their choices, I'd rather just play a game. Console gaming isn't dead, the shit is as visible as daylight. Duke Nukem Forever is dead (at the moment?) and we don't even talk about that game anymore...just have memories. I think the only thing I have let go over PC gamers whining is MW2...and even though I guess it took a lot away from the eariler FPS games when it comes to multiplayer, still you can play the damn game. My father raised me on gaming. From the nintendo, super nintendo, sega and to PC with Doom, Duke Nukem, Warcraft, Warcraft II, etc. I love everything. I like to play video games. Where there comes a time where I will buy a high end pc for a nice game I will if it is a good investment.

I need a towel, I just messed my pants up. Nice that they bring the old school back. Great to see Guy and DeeJay in. I hear there is more being added, but I'm not sure. Would be cool if they added Sean. Just to know that there is a SSF4 and also bonus stages coming back is just enough to pick up that copy (if its not an update). |

Just came back from Ninja Assassin
Off-Topic Discussion « General Discussion 11/28/09 6:00:32 PM
Spoilers: Yeah I agree I actually did thought he was the bad guy and that actually felt kinda good. I think with the check and that british guy they were more into finding out that ninjas really exist and if they were going to kill her next that would be the ninja's only way to find out where the dojo is I think right? They should have cleared this up. I must admit the Ninja's vs SWAT fight was great. |
