Yes much better than Hero and alot of other games . I played Hero from the first week of open beta and its one of  the worst grindfests anywhere and the community is horrible . 12 Sky is much better all the way around , I think you will like it .

I played for a while , its actually a pretty good game but a little grindy.

The problem I had with it is the whole item mall thing really screwed up the game , you have to spend money for items in order to be competitive in pvp and those who spend the most become OP so its all imbalanced.

Its kinda like a nice game with good graphics and skills , nice layout , nice environment that was made well and then Codemasters came in and messed it up for everyone . The original players left , there were incidences involving corrupt GMs , people getting banned for no reason and the whole system is all about the greed of Codemaster`s , all they care about is selling the crap in the cash shop .

Ive played alot of them , PTP , FTP  , Asian Grinders you name it . 100% honest , I`m close to saying this is the best mmorpg I have ever played . EQ 2 is probably one of my other favorites besides this one . ( pvp servers ) .

There are over 100 levels and getting to 100 is easy . I heard that after 113 it starts to slow on exp.

3 faction RVR. like daoc , and it`s swinging 24/7 between all 3.

Constant  rewards , gifts , incentives , events etc .

Very nice looking items , the character appearances are amazing.

Very acvtive staff.

When I saw Game Guard I uninstalled the game and spent the day cleaning that crap out of my computer . Why any company would use that garbage is beyond my comprehension , I`m playing around over at Twelve Sky now , so far so good .

As I have stated before , I never played a game that I actually didnt like , they all have flaws one way or another mixed in with the fun.

This one has some features that i have not yet seen in other games and a certain degree of uniqueness , which is generally what I look for when judging a game .

I was all set to play Rohan OB but when I discovered a well known piece of garbage bundled in with thier client known as "GameGuard" I decided to try this game instead . I like it , others may not depending on their taste .

Some truths I have come to realize:

People always seem to be searching for the perfect game and are never happy with anything one way or another.

Developers refuse to break away from the standard mmorpg model because they think that`s what people want so instead they continue to try and create new and improved versions of played out ideas .

That being said , EQ 2 is one of my personal favorite games but I can find plenty of joy playing some lesser known Asian game thats off in a corner somewhere simply because they have something in the game I have never seen before and this allows me to explore  something different and satisfy my curiousity .

Twelve Sky is fun , it has RVR which is the basis for the game and it`s got alot of freedom of movement as well as a build variable system that puts you in control of your character`s attributes. This game , like DAOC offers a 3 faction system for RVR which gives the opportunity to allow for a more dramatic outcome rather than the 2 faction RVR games , also you cannot play more than one faction at a time without deleting your characters , so no spying etc .

Set in ancient China the graphics are maybe a 7 out of 10 , not awful but not as polished as some other games. No wasd , everything is point and click but its not something you cant live with . Leveling is not as difficult as other Asian games , 9 Dragons , Hero etc ( I have high level chars in both )  and there are quests that give good rewards including exp and something Ive never seen before , stat points as a reward .

Folks this isnt a cheesball half assed browser based rock em sock em robot game . It has all the goods , factions , items ,rares , pets , skills , armor ,weapons , quests , item enchantment , pvp , rvr and a whole lot more , if youre bored or looking for something to play who knows , it might bring you a little joy . 

I began Hero Online during open beta and played to level 70, then I left and played many other mmorpgs for about 1 year and  half .  I recently came back to hero and found a lot of changes that for the most part are a breath of fresh air . They have added a ton of content and features and have also implemented a few new maps .

This game has always been one of the worst grinders in the history of mankind however , they have made some changes that make it easier to get exp and have doubled the spawn rate of the mobs also .  There are faction wars several times a day that reward the winning faction with an increase in exp for about 3 and a half hours at a time  which also helps . I found leveling much easier over all since I came back .

This is an interesting game in that it is extremely Asian in theme as well as game play , I am a fan of Chinese themes and Hero is by far the best that I have seen in this department , 9 Dragons is good but nothing compared to the authentic environment that Hero is based on . There are a lot of hidden elements and many intricacies to the game that  become meaningful at high levels . They are planning for more content and maps etc that will primarily be geared toward players over level 100 which will be released in the near future .

When I left the first time , there were very few people that had Master skills ( lvl 60 )  and now there are many people with Divine skills (lvl 70 ) which have also been implemented in the game . These skill books are considered rare items with the sword skills being the most expensive based on supply and demand .

There are new items called Drakonian that are extremely rare and are limited to 200 per server channel . When someone gets a Drakonian item, Sword , Armor bow etc , from a monster drop ,  their name appears on all channels announcing their good fortune to the entire community . 

They have also increased the amount of rare item drops in general and have allowed for cash items to be sold in game for gold . Unfortunately , there is now a large influx of noobs who are selling cash items and using billions in gold to purchase the high end gear , things that at one time were owned by a few hard working players are now everywhere including Black Dragon weapons and armor and divine skills which run about 70 million per book . The real humor in the situation is that even after spending that much money to be awesome , they dont know how to pvp worth a crap lol .

Hero for me has a lot of sentimental aspects to it since I was one of the original players from the days of open beta , there were a lot of wild and dramatic things going on back then and a lot of good times . The game has progressed quite a bit and is still putting new things on the plate for people .  With the ability for anyone to buy anything including a leveled character though , I`m not sure that all of the changes are for the better , as always he who has the gold makes the rules .

Ah finally the forums are back and they kept the original intact , good news for us .

After my recent testing of this game I am giving it a thumbs up as one of the better micro pay games out there.

It`s quality is probably related to the fact that it was originally a fee based game , there is no shortage of content and a healthy population on all 3 servers.

note: A pair of mages 40 levels higher than me rode up and said " Gold or die "  I quickly attempted to perform a dance move and instantly found myself on the ground after being one shot killed by them.

There will be no problems with falling asleep in this one , my kind of game to be sure .

As mentioned by DESOUL , those are images of the light and dark side godesses , not character classes. There is a little bit of a story on how they came to be somewhere on the Shaiya main site. Once you choose a side , the goddess will appear every once and a while and bless you which will raise all of your stats for a short time. The side that is maintaining the most consecutive RVR victories will be the side that gets the blessing.

Hey do u still play Cabal ? i know it just came live out of Beta , i have a blader over on Mercury have two chars on venus[ FB FS]  but havent actually started them yet , just started so im only like lvl 40 hit me up or add me to ur friend list we shoud quest sometime . I personally am only playing cos i want a bike and some cool moves for making some gaming videos lol .  I wanted to do FURY cos that woulda been way better but they dont have game cam support and fraps is to large ... anyhow name on mercury is ~ AriesSky~

now this is interesting the servers go down not once but twice , no patch what so ever and a 3rd party excuse 3rd party could mean BANKING MATTERS . But atleast its not a truck this time lmao .... anyhow and ironic that they just put a we are sorry for the inconvenience , that was needed when they came back on the first time. But atleast they are back on now if only theyd pay attention to the forums and go with some of the suggestions i threw out to get some players to come play.

  I`ve been playing around with a FS on Venus  but I`ve been working more lately so I`m not playing Fury or Cabal as much . I try and get on every night though and weekends also.  My FS on Venus is Zaltar and I normally play on 7 . My FS is fairly new so you could get yours up and running and we can do some stuff . I want to get to nation level , past 95 I think it is , so I can ffa pvp the other side. Play your Venus chars and get a hold of me so we can train.

I got my immortal account on Fury but i want to see some changes to a few things , mainly the 1v1 rules and some other stuff . Ive lost alot of rank defeating random opponants in 1v1 matches because they were lower rank than me which is kind of irritating . Fury has all the tools for being a great game , i just wish the devs would use them for improvement . They have enough capital to sustain the game for a long time but they need to make changes faster to maintain a decent player base. It`s a great concept that has not been taken to it`s full potential Imho.

IMHO , ranking is enough incentive to perform well in Fury however , the ladder system as a whole needs a bit of improvement.  I don`t see that certain game types including 1 v 1 are even factored in to the ladder scores and frankly I get tired of having my rank go backwards because I beat lower ranked players. I dont decide who I end up in the ring with so why should I be penalized .

I would also like to see number of kills ladders in addition to performance ladders as well . It`s surprising how much incentive players get when they start seeing who has the overall highest number of kills , Ive seen this in other games .

Yes thats correct , it was 10 matches originally and after the last Gu it was cut down to 5 .

Theres usually one spammer on everyday and he gets banned everyday then changes his name and gets banned again the next day.

Everyone ingame hates him because he floods the chat for a few minutes at a time. The GMs are very active and always monitoring the chat.

Also good luck Redwood , due to some real life obligations I wont be able to play regularly for now. When you get past 20 you wont see your next line of quests on map 2 until level 22 and it will slow down again after 30 for bit but dont let that discourage you . Lapis can be found in RVR maps and RVR maps dungeon areas by killing mobs. The slotted weapons can be found in regular dungeons and there is a noble weapon quest at level 25 .I recommend getting this weapon if you havent already . 

I`m not seeing a lot of players listed including myself that I know are playing , and the ones that have high ranking , Ive killed most of them .  Maybe these players on the current ladders are picking up their scores by playing Vortex all day , I dont see Fate Wraithblade , St Jude at all and Terje got bumped way down Skinny G got bumped way down and others including myself are just plain missing alltogether .  Hazard ? lol I destroyed him in 1 v1 .  how the hell did he get # 2 ?

Probably because I play 90% 1 versus 1 or BB when i can get it , guess i`ll have to play Vortex to get a rank since the BB are few and far in between .

And another thing is i`m tired of having my rank drop because I beat people in 1v1 , I dont get to pick the level of my competition so why should I lose rank ?

Yeah i think it`s a little thin on classes myself , 4 races and 5 classes with some class variation  depending on which realm its in , so far this is the only setback in the game IMHO and the armor does not have enough variety either . Who knows , maybe they will implement some stuff in the future , I know there is already alot to be added since it is a new game at this point . It is most compared to L2 minus the L2 grind .

The stat point system games I always tend to like based on the vast amount of build variables possible . The amount of stat points gained per level increases with different play modes with easy and normal being the lowest , then hard giving a few more and ultimate which gives the most . Perma death applies only to ultimate mode characters that cannot find a priest to revive them within 3 minutes , so the cash item is a good alternative for those who dont want to risk losing their character .

And yes there is a lot of nudity on mobs which will become evident as you progress in the game , for those people that are fascinated by naked cartoons this game has more breasts than hen house full of chickens . It has blood also and requires 18 + age verification to play .
