My head out of the sand? Really. You haven't addressed my main issue. Are YOU still the same clump of idiots I remember about a year ago? The same clowns that left me feeling like I was logging in to a second job that I wasn't getting paid for? Answer THAT question, the question I've been asking myself after the uprising that cost you glory boys in Fleet several ships.
Why are you so hostile? What could we possibly have done to offend you so? I've been playing the game for 2 years, most of the time in the fleet. Yes, the fleet did feel like a second job; however it was very role play intense. That is the reason why many people left fleet for civilian life. It gives a unique aspect to the game, and can appeal to two or more types of players. I think fleet would attract the very roleplay based players that like order and would like to serve in a futuristic military simulation. I am that type of player. In my opinion civilian life attracts the sandbox players, the ones that want to build a empire from the ground up; the ones who like to do what they want when they want. My thoughts on how they changed fleet? I don't know. I resigned because of it, fleet seemed to be growing for a while once it was changed. But now it seems to be hemmeraging and stagnating again. At the same time the almost-real military simulation is gone and many players in fleet once played the game for it. Most don't anymore. Just my thoughts on your comments. |

I would suggest StarQuest Online. While it does not have the pretty graphics of all those games you mentioned since it is developed by a small independant company, the gameplay itself makes up for it. |

The game you are looking for is called StarQuest Online. It doesn't have all those features you mentioned, however it has 90% of them. There is a free trial as well; it is a very small community based game and is easy to get into. |

Also a good space game is StarQuest Online, it's much more sandbox style than EvE and has a very friendly and helpful community. |

My Wurm review [read this if you are considering playing Wurm]
General Discussion « Wurm Online 11/14/07 7:11:00 PM
Me and a few friends from another game used to play Wurm. We loved it for a while, and we all played on the wild server. It was fun, we had travelled for an hour and made a HQ on a nice little island. Only thing is 30 minutes later a couple dudes with advanced weapons came and raided our crap and we evacuated. Really, I think it is a amazing game. I would still be playing it if it didnt crash my graphics driver on both of my computers every 20-40 minutes. (With all settings set on the lowest) PS anyone know how to fix that? |

Are graphics really as unimportant as people claim ?

I agree, graphics are the appetizers, however the main course is the gameplay. I play StarQuest Online, most people hate it because all they do is look at the graphics. However I looked past them, and found its a great game. |

Centauria Report, March 12th 2222 Upon hearing that Lt. JG Charles Douglas' generated mission led him into Neutral space, I diecided to pop on and helm him. We headed into Klinshayan space in PSV mode, hoping not to disturb the locals. Shortly after heading out of that system, we recieved a hail that the Klinshayan High Command was dispatching ships, clearly we had been detected. We continued onto the last system, when we entered we spotted a deathwing class cruiser. The ship did give out a distress signal, and the Klinshay High Command dispatched forces along thier border. It seems as though the Distress call from Delta was cut off in static. (the Xon might have developed communication dampening technology) When we arrived, we quickly engaged the two Xon. Crew were as following, The fight was easy enough, pulled near Delta for protection, and in the end we had moderate damage to shielding and weapons. Negligable damage to hull. Unfortantly, i dont know how, i was paying more attention to the fight than the ship. (I dont know how Victor wants me to move around more.... Once i noticed, I pulled us away from Delta as fast as I could, and we continued the fight out of range. One Xon escaped, one destroyed. I set course for XY, and parked the ship in deep space on PSV. Signed,
