Defiance [RUN] is still recruiting however we have moved servers.  We are now on Tarnished Coast and are looking for players who want to join us there.  We are doing great in World vs World and have large amounts of level 80 characters.

Defiance is still growing!!  We now have 158 members and an average of 80 on at the same time at night.  We also have almost 30 level 80s at this time.  We are clearly the most active and organized guild on the Darkhaven server.  We are still looking for active and casual players who enjoy organized play in both WvW and endgame PvE.

Read This Before Joining:

Unlike a lot of large guilds that care more about the total number and don't care about activity and organization, Defiance requires 100% representation across ALL of your characters.  We actually kick people for not following this rule.  We are not an alt guild and will make sure that never becomes the case.  It doesn't matter what your reason for wanting to wear a different tag is, there are zero exceptions to this rule.  We don't care if this means you don't want to join our community that is your choice and with or without you Defiance will still be the best guild on Darkhaven.

Defiance is continueing to grow everyday.  We are now the largest active guild on Darkhaven with over 130 active members.  Unlike many large guilds all of our members represent Defiance on all characters.   We have been the most active guild in World vs World on Darkhaven and have also been active in PvE.  As a guild we have cleared both AC and CM explorables and are working on TA. 

Lastly we also are forming a 5v5 structured PvP tournament team and are also recruiting experienced arena players for that.

About Defiance:

Defiance is a growing community that has it's roots in Planetside (1 and 2) and have decided to open up a Guild Wars 2 chapter.  We have a long standing community with many active members that have enjoyed each others company across multiple games.  Our leadership are even tempered and fair, we don't yell and scream at people like I am sure everyone has experienced.

While we have a good core of people we are looking to expand those numbers in Guild Wars 2 and bring a powerful force of players into WvW.  We have opportunity for advancement for the right individuals as well.  We pride ourselves on our teamwork and focused attitude towards gaming.  Many of our leaders and members are prior military and we try to bring that sense of teamwork and dedication to whatever game we are playing.

Our GW2 Mission:

The mission of Defiance in Guild Wars 2 will be to become the top guild for World vs World on our server.  Our guilds background is heavily focused in organized pvp in Planetside / Planetside 2.  We are looking to build the strongest possible fighting force to ensure that Darkhaven is routinely at the top of server ladder.  Join us and bring glory to Darkhaven!  We also plan to become involved in any endgame progression raiding/dungeons that come up of course.  Though the focus of the Guild will remain on World vs World as the primary.

At this time we are quite hopeful that ArenaNet's plan of getting rid of the "unholy trinity" will be successful.  We are openly recruiting all classes and roles at this time.  We are looking for all types of players from hardcore to casual.  Defiance is first and foremost a community and we look forward to working and playing with anyone who wants to carry our flag into combat.  We are looking for a range of players from hardcore to casual and from dungeon runners to elite pvpers.
